Ok so this chapter is the first on of Recovery. Thank you Synoel, it-all-starts-somewhere, sakura-blossoms-26, silverheartlugia2000, Moira Colleen, and Nikki Pond.

Me: So this arc will have six parts. This beginning and then the childhoods!

Pitch: What about fear?

Me: What are you still doing here?! You know what never mind. To answer your question. No fear.

Pitch: What about the broken staff arc you promised?

Me: You read the reviews. (-_-).

Pitch: Well?

Me: I have a sticky note, *shows note*, right here that says the suggestions. The broken staff arc will either come after or before the Jokul arc which won't come until I get a few one-shots done, a death done, and making you happy. Whether or not the arc comes then will be up to my crazy mind.

Pitch: You're going to make me happy?

Me: Gah! I said to much! Anyway onto the chapter!

Pitch: Read the conversation below if you want insight into future chapters

Me: (-_-) Bad Pitch. Just forget about him and read the chapter. Onto the chapter!

North ran through the Pole with the unconscious Jack in his hands. He shouted to Phil, who was staring in shock, to activate the northern lights. Phil blinked and nodded, quickly activating it and then following North. They reached Jack's room and, with a deep breath, North unlocked it and entered. Everything looked the same. The blue walls to the floor to the blue bed.

North placed Jack in the bed and tucked him. He watched him sleep for a few minutes before he ran a hand through the winter spirit's hair and a smile broke out on his face. He was so happy, for here he had lost hope in Jack and then he was returned. North did remember what Mother Nature said but right now he didn't care. Jack was back.

Suddenly the door burst open and there stood the other Guardians, led here by Phil. They all froze as they saw Jack in his bed.

"Jack." Tooth breathed, tears welling in her eyes but not falling. They all rushed over to the bed and all smiled in relief and happiness.

"Where'd you find him?" Bunny choked out. He knew Jack would return to them someday.

"I didn't." North said.

"What?" Bunny asked. "Then h-how'd you find him?"

"Mother Nature arrived with him. She didn't tell me where she found him but…" North trailed off.

"But what?" Tooth asked, "Is-Is something wrong with Jack?"

North hesitated then said, "She said that Jack was…broken. That was need to fix him."

"What?" Bunny asked. Sandy, who noticed Jack was sleeping without any dreams, through some dream-sand above Jacks head. But no dream appeared. Sandy through more but it just fell and vanished. Worried Sandy got the other's attention.

"What is it Sandy?" North asked. Sandy through the dream-sand on Jack again and, again, no dream appeared. That's when they notice, Jack's belief is still missing. They also took in Jack's appearance. He certainly was broken.

"Oh my poor Sweet-Tooth!" Tooth exclaimed, going over and grabbing one of his hands. Just then dull blue eyes opened and Jack looked at each person in the room.

*Starts crying*

Pitch: Why are you crying?

Me: Because it was too short!

Pitch: Then go update another chapter.

Me: Great idea! That's what I'll do today! I'll try to get as many parts to this arc as possible done!

Pitch: Isn't that a bit much?

Me: NO! Those lovely readers love updates and this fic can go on forever. Besides the more done the closer we get to Jokul and the death!

Pitch: So you're still going to kill Ja-

Me: SHHHHHH! stop giving things away.

Pitch: The readers have a right to know.

Me: They'll know when we reach that chapter which should be chapter 64 or 65.

Pitch: 64 or 65?

Me: Yes because then after the death we get Jokul.

Pitch: now you're giving stuff away.

Me: Not as much as you. Anyway feel free to comment, flame (quiet Pitch), suggest, etc.

Until next time! :D
