Ok so this chapter is the next one of Recovery. Thank you Synoel, it-all-starts-somewhere, sakura-blossoms-26, silverheartlugia2000, Moira Colleen, and Nikki Pond.

And I'll deal with Pitch when he comes back Synoel so it's fine.

Sandy: *waves*

Me: Hey Sandy! Did you know you're chapter is actually longer then Bunny's.

Sandy: *surprised face*

Me: I know right! Bunny's chapter was 641 words without these notes in the beginning. Your's is 780 word without these. It's funny how I thought your's would be less be cause it was easier to gain.

Sandy: *shrugs*

Me: maybe it's because you're awesomer then Bunny. And I know awesomer isn't a word but this is me talking not the story. Anyway Sandy you want to get on with you're part?

Sandy: *thumbs up*

Me: Great! Onto the chapter!

The Guardians stared in shock as a very dim light appeared on the globe and Bunny came in smiling. But what confused the others was that while Jack's light returned, they didn't feel anything.

"Bunny what happened?" North asked as Bunny got closer to them.

"Frostbite's got some hope. I even got him to eat." Bunny said proudly.

"Did you have to force him to eat it?" Tooth asked.

Bunny shook his head, "Nope. He took the food willingly."

"How did you get him to hope?" Tooth asked curiosity clearly in her voice.

"Well I started talking to him telling him that he could get better because we believed he could and because he was strong. Then I told him how we searched for him. I noticed a quick glance at that and I felt his hope appear. But it suddenly vanished and-"

"If it vanished how is there light?" North interrupted.

Bunny glared, "I was about to say before you interrupted that I decided to tell him about all the people who wanted him better. Us, the baby teeth, the yetis and elves. But what got his hope was when I said he had believers. So I encouraged that belief and now he has hope. Even spoke before I left. He said, "I hope I can try." Meaning he was going to try."

"That's wonderful!" Tooth said.

"Did he recognized you?" North asked.

"No." Bunny sighed, "I think that's obvious when I told you he was hoping my words about people caring were true."

North turned to Tooth, "Can't you do anything?"

Tooth shook her head, "No. I don't have these memories about this life in a tooth canister. We'd have to take him to places to make him remember. I could try getting his center back by showing him his teeth since that's what did it this time but…in his state right now I don't think that's a good idea."

North nodded in understanding, "Maybe if he gets some other parts of childhood, like wonder and dreams, before memories you can help."

Tooth nodded soberly. She wanted to help but she couldn't do much right now. Bunny hopped over to Sandy, "He looked pretty tired after I left. You want to try to give him some dreams?"

Sandy nodded franticly with a large smile on his face. Now that Jack was hoping maybe some dreams might appear from the hope.

Sandy walked away from the others and entered Jack's room down the hall. When Sandy opened the door he saw Jack with his eyes closed but opened when he entered the room. Sandy noticed that while Jack still had an expressionless face his eyes had a very soft light and a little blue hue. As Sandy went to the side of the bed near Jack's head, he noticed how Jack's eyes actually followed him instead of staying still.

Sandy smiled a bright smile at Jack and held up a handful of dream-sand.

"Dream?" a very, very soft voice came from Jack. At first Sandy stared in shock but then his face broke into a large smile and he nodded happily. At first Jack just stared at Sandy but then he closed his eyes. Taking that as a sign, Sandy dusted some sand onto Jack and watched as it formed above his head.

It showed Jack and some unidentified figures smiling and laughing. That's when Sandy noticed the smile upon Jack's face and the feeling of his belief of dreams.

'You shall not dream! It brings nothing but lies!'

Though Sandy did not hear the voice, while Jack heard it hissing in his mind, the dream-maker felt Jack belief in dreams vanish as he watched the golden sand become tainted with black. As that happened the people in the dream left Jack, leaving him alone and sad. Just as Sandy tried to change the dream the sand vanished and Jack opened his eyes without a sound. Jack looked at Sandy and whispered one sentence that stabbed at Sandy's heart.

"I can't dream."

Sandy frowned and shook his finger in front of Jack. Then he wrote in his sand, knowing Jack is not up for charades, "Do you want to dream?"

He heard Jack's breath hitch and blue speckled gray eyes turn to him. The after a few seconds there was a nod from Jack. It was small and hesitant but a nod none the less.

Sandy smiled again and once more sprinkled Jack with dream-sand. He watched as Jack fell asleep and the dream with two out of four recognizable figures with Jack. Sandy and Bunny. Sandy smiled at both the dream and the soft smile upon Jack's face.

Me: Sandy gets it!

Me: What was that about Pitch? Oh yeah well he was trying to scare a child.

Me: Oh yeah you go deal with him. But I think Synoel already beat you to it.

Sandy: *Shrugs and waves goodbye*
