Here's the next chapter!
Ok I have a question. I'm planning on doing a part about the Blizzard of '68 but what I need to know is when. I could either do a random one-shot on it or I can put it in an arc that will be call "Remembering You". It will be an arc about the Guardians meeting Jack as a human. Should I put that in there showing when they, besides tooth, each first met Jack as a spirit as well?

Me: Meh! Anyway let's enter the last part!
Onto the Part!
The Guardians arrived within the North Pole's infirmary and Bunny gently laid Jack upon one of the beds. Instantly they got to work stitching and bandaging the wounds. Once that was done, they left him to rest while they met in the globe room.
"Oh thank Manny our Sweet-Tooth is alright!" Tooth breathed out.
"Yeah but for how long?" Bunny stated gaining confused looks from the others.
"What do you mean?" Tooth asked, the relief in her voice replaced by worry.
"How do we know the bloody menace is gone?" Bunny asked looking her in the eyes before looking at each of the others. "How do we know Jack is free from that sadistic spirit's claws?" This dampened their mood. Bunny was right. They didn't know if Jokul was just subdued like last time and they couldn't know unless they were told by MiM or Mother Nature.
They truly didn't know if Jack was completely safe yet.
Mother Nature wondered under moon light that shinned down upon her kingdom. She had just gotten home when she felt the moonbeams call her.
"Tell me, how is our child right now?" She asked gazing up towards the moon.
"Jack is fine. He has been cared for by the Guardians." Manny answered. "Jokul Frosti's grip has also disappeared, his time ran out."
Mother Nature's eyes widened. "You mean-"
"Yes Jokul has finally faded and Jack now holds the complete control over winter and his center." With that the voice of MiM faded.
"I must inform the Guardians." Mother Nature then took off towards the North Pole. When she reached it, Nature searched the globe room for the Guardians but didn't find them. That's when she figured they too must be resting from their encounters with Jokul. She wondered the halls for a while, not being interrupted for all the Yetis were down many levels of floors, until she came across the room that held her child. Nature paused for a moment before entering and standing at Jack's side. Seeing the gauze wrapped around the boy's wrists and ankles left her feeling a bit of guilt before pushing it aside knowing it was necessary.
She stood silently at Jack's side until a small whimper escaped the winter spirit's lips. Instantly her hand went out to comb through snow-white hair while cooing out a "shh". While doing this she channeled cold through the hand and instantly she felt all of the wintery power within the child respond as it flowed through his veins.
She conjured up a chair of vines next to the bed and sat in it while she continued to comfort her young boy. When she felt Jack relax under her Nature thought he went back into a peaceful sleep. But then a soft, almost none existent voice pierced the air.
"Mom?" Looking down at Jack's face, Nature found very thin slivers of blue staring back at her.
"Shhh, go back to sleep." Nature cooed quietly. It didn't take much for soon the slivers of blue vanished and Jack was once again asleep.
"You care so much for him don't you?" Nature looked up to find North entering the room to stand beside the bed.
Nature just smiled as an answer. "How'd you know I was here?"
"Phil informed me of your entrance. I figured this would be the best place to guess." North answered.
"Yes, well, you guessed correctly. I happened to come across the child while looking for one of you. He was crying softly in his sleep, and while I would ave visited anyway, I just couldn't leave him to suffer."
"Yes the boy has gone through so much." North looked down at Jack.
"And he's bound to go through more."
A chuckle. "That is very true but he's not clear yet. We don't know if Jokul is subdued or gone."
"He's gone." This caused North to look back at Nature.
"What?"
"It's why I came to find you all." Nature said with a sigh. "Jokul is finally gone for good and that leaves effects upon Frost."
"What effects?"
"For one he gains more control over winter. I feel it now coursing through his veins. Another effect is that he will feel the complete effect of his center."
"The complete effect?"
"Yes. You all know how there are those darker wonders and hopes and dreams. Those scarring memories. Well before Jokul held onto the darker part of fun, now Jack has to deal with both."
"But we'll be there for him if he feels that side and doesn't know how to respond."
"Yes but knowing Frost you'll have to look for the signs or something of that course because he'll try to keep you from his troubles."
North let out another chuckle. "That much is obvious, but that's just Jack."
Nature smiled, "I suppose it is." With a sigh she stood, letting the chair shrivel and vanish. "I must be going now. Take care of Frost and yourselves." When she pulled her hand away Jack moaned at the loss. North quickly grabbed a bag from within a cabinet and sprinkled a little of the contents upon Jack. It was dream-sand Sandy had left in case of a nightmare or something, and it let Jack fall back once more into a peaceful sleep.
Nature gave one last smile before leaving herself.
The next morning, North told the other Guardians what Mother Nature told him. They mostly paid attention to the part that said Jokul was now gone. This had made them all happy and Tooth had rushed off to see Jack.
When they entered the infirmary they found Jack awake, looking around the room.
"Jack!" Tooth exclaimed zipping over to him. "Oh I'm so happy you're awake and alright!"
"Oh hey Tooth." Jack said.
"Never, ever do that again! Do you hear me!? Oh I was so worried!" Tooth continued as she fluttered around Jack.
"It's good to see you're awake and you again, Frostbite." Bunny chuckled as he and the other two approached. "Gave us a right scare."
"Hehe, sorry." Jack said nervously rubbing the back of his neck. Looking down at the bandages Jack asked, "What exactly did happen?"
"Err…well while you were stuck as Jokul," North explained, "We had to try and catchy you. Jokul fought back and…well…you get idea."
"It's alright." Jack said.
"What about you Frostbite? How'd you regain the will to fight?" Bunny asked.
Jack smiled. "I was visited by some people who helped me remember myself."
Sandy showed a question mark asking who these people were, for they must be the force he felt enter the sand. Jack just gave a smile as an answer.
"It doesn't matter!" North exclaimed with a smile. "What matters is that Jack is back! Now you just need to focus on healing."
Jack gave North a smile and everyone smiled in return.
Me: So that was that. In the one-shots some will take after this while others are just random but mix in still with these arcs.
Pitch: Why am I here?
Me: No clue. You could always leave.
Pitch: Why can't I believe that? *glares*
Me: *shrugs*
Anywho feel free to suggest, comment, vote, ask questions, etc.
Until next time! :D
