"Beep beep beep" Tony's alarm sounded obnoxiously breaking through the silent morning. He rolled over and saw that is was already 11:00 AM , he leapt out of bed "damn this jet lag!" He said as he rushed to the bathroom to get a shower before his 12:30 seminar.

Kate woke groggily she'd heard Tony's alarm go off and rolled over to find that he'd already got out of bed. She got up, slipped on a sweatshirt and jeans, twisted her hair into a bun and walked down to the hotel lobby to get coffee. They were staying at the Sheraton Tel-Aviv, which she had to admit now that she saw it in the light of day was much nicer than any Sheraton back in the US. It was larger than she'd expected, but since there were meetings going on all week with several international agencies she should have guessed it would be big. Lost in thought, she turned a corner not watching where she was going and slammed right into someone. She fell slicing her hand open on the table next to her as she tried to break the fall. Kate flushed as the man she hit said something to her in what she figured was Arabic. She blushed even deeper and shook her head and said "Sorry I only speak English." The man, who she now noticed was extremely handsome, tall and middle eastern looking, with dark brown eyes and a charming smile, said "my apologies, should have known a pretty girl like you was American." Kate blushed " I'm so sorry for running into you like that, I really ought to pay more attention to where I'm going. The man smiled and shook his head "not at all." Then he noticed Kate's bloody hand "are you ok? do you want me to fix that up for you?" She shook her head "No I've already caused you enough trouble this morning, plus I want to run some coffee up to my boyfriend before he goes to work." The man smiled even wider " How about we send a pot of coffee up to your boyfriends room and I take a look at that hand, I'm a doctor and I will just worry about it getting infected." Kate finally nodded her hand was starting to hurt quite a lot "let me just call Tony, my boyfriend and let him know where I am." He nodded and gestured to an empty table close to the cafe, "I'll meet you over there" Kate dialed Tony's number but didn't reach him in time and simply left a message. She hung up and walked over to the doctor she'd nearly trampled. He opened his bag and pulled out a bottle and began cleaning the blood of Kate's hand. " So how long have you been a doctor?" She realized the question might sound rude and added "I only ask because I'm pre-med at my university right now." He smiled and looked up catching Kate's eye. "I've been in practice for 5 years now I graduated in 1994 from Edinburgh Medical College, I did my post grad with Dr. Martin Sedgewick , and started working with my mom 2 years later" He paused then said a little bitterly "After her death I came here to help my father." He changed the subject abruptly, " How rude of me I don't think I caught your name? " Katelyn, but just call me Kate." She said as he put the last bandage on her hand. She was about to ask his name when her phone started buzzing and she looked down "Sorry I've got to take this, give me two minutes." The man watched her, thinking what an interesting girl she was when his own phone buzzed loudly, he read the text message. He gathered his belongings and tapped Kate on the shoulder and said softly "It's been a pleasure meeting you, but I'm afraid I've got to go," he paused handed her his card then said "Sorry Katelyn" As he turned and walked out of the glass hotel doors.

Tony got out of the shower, dressed, and looked around the room surprised that Kate wasn't there. He checked his phone and saw with alarm that he had 17 missed calls. Sixteen of them were from Gibbs, but no messages had been left. He tried returning the call but there was no answer. Tony chuckled to himself a bit assuming Gibbs must have forgotten how to use his phone yet again. He then listened to the voicemail from Kate. "Hey I ran down to get us coffees and accidently hurt my hand, getting it bandaged up now. Hopefully I'll see you before you have to go. Love you!"

Tony looked at his watch 12:15, He still had a few minutes to run down stairs and see if Kate was in the coffee shop. As he pushed the door open into the expansive lobby he saw Kate walking toward him holding 2 steaming cups. She smiled "good morning" and gave him a quick kiss as she handed him one of the steaming cups. He took a sip and gestured to her hand "you okay?" She nodded and brushed him off "nothing to worry about a doctor bandaged it up for me." He nodded "Well listen babe I'm sorry to run off and leave you but-" Kate laughed and cut across him "don't worry "I've got plans for today I going to tour the Yitzhak Rabin Center, then go dress shopping for that dinner tonight." Tony nodded "Okay have fun, be safe! Call me if you need anything." He gave her a kiss on the forehead and said "love you" as he walked into a conference room.

A/N: Sorry a little bit of a shorter chapter, I have another one I'm working on I'll try to get up in the next couple days- Can anyone guess who the doctor Kate met is? :)
