Ok heres the next chapter!
Me: Ok so this chapter is dedicated to my brother who also gives his own suggestion and ideas to arcs. He's even helped come up with a story idea which I have posted on this and will hopefully update today. This idea was given to me by my brother so I thought I'd post it for his birthday today.
Pitch: Am I aloud to visit him tonight?
Me: No! I'll also post again at midnight in hopes of posting a Thanksgiving chapter.
Well onto the chapter!
Well this sucks.
That's what Jack was thinking as he stared at his staff that lay before him. Jack had been practicing switching between his fox form and his human form when he grew tired but, instead of changing back to human he stayed as a fox. Puzzled, Jack focused on changing back but nothing happened. Huffing, Jack prepared to go relax in the Antarctic when he suddenly realized something, he couldn't carry his staff. Before, when he was harassing the other Guardians, he flew away thanks to Sandy's help since he couldn't carry his staff. Sure he could have tried to fly without his conduct but it was too much of a risk.
Groaning, Jack rolled his eyes before walking up to his staff and began circling it. He couldn't pick it up with his paws, which was obvious, so he stood next to it and attempted to pick the conduct up with his mouth. Bending his neck and twisting his head, Jack positioned his teeth around the wood and began to pull it up. He didn't get very far for when Jack had it standing up straight it began to tip, causing Jack to let go of it so he didn't twist his neck and the staff to hit the ground with a thump.
Jack let out a growl of frustration. He could call Bunny for help, seeing as calling him was just knocking in a pattern, but there was no way he was doing that. Jack could hear the laughter now. Jack was fine with any Guardian as long as it wasn't Bunny, though he particularly wanted Sandy.
Jack closed his eyes once more and focused on changing back, hoping it will work this time. He felt a tingling under his skin but he didn't change. Silently cursing, Jack turned back to his staff and decided to try a new tactic.
He grabbed the hook and looped it around his neck, but it didn't work for long when it slipped off his neck from the open part of the crook. Sighing Jack then decided to just pick it up like a stick. It worked but it felt odd as he held it within his jaws and unbalanced. Realizing he had no choice, Jack went over to a tree and, using his staff, banged on it.
Jack had decided to sit next to the tree, staff at his side, while waiting for the arrival of the other. He was in the middle of focusing how to change back when his ear twitched towards a noise.
"Alright, Frostbite. What is it you called me for?" Bunny asked as he hopped out of his tunnel. Jack stood up, staff in mouth, and walked up to Bunny. Bunny took one look and burst out laughing
Narrowing his eyes with a growl, Jack smacked him with his staff, effectively coating the side in ice.
"Oi!" Bunny shouted at the ice. "Alright don't freeze me! Now what do you need?"
Jack looked away from the other as he signed, "I need you to get me to the Arctic."
"Can't you just change back and fly there yourself, or at least fly there?" Bunny asked raising an eyebrow. Jack's ears folded back and he look away. That was enough for Bunny to get the hint.
"You can't, you forgot how to!" Bunny began laughing again only to receive another whack from the staff.
"I didn't forget I just got too tired and couldn't switch back!" Jack signed defensively.
"Whatever you say, mate." Bunny said still chuckling only to get hit once more.
"Will you help me or not?!"
"Alright, alright don't get your fur in a bunch." With that Bunny opened up another tunnel and the two headed towards the Arctic.
After a nap there Jack was able to change back to his human form. Bunny would continue to tease Jack about it until Jack froze him in an ice pillar.
Jack also learned that if that happened again, he wouldn't call Bunny.
Me: It's short but it's what we thought of one day at school.
Pitch: *rolls eyes*
Me: Anyway feel free to comment, suggest, PM me, etc.
