Pitch: Just get on with the chapter.

Me: OK! Well hi everyone! Thank you so much for the reviews/follows/favorites!

Onto the chapter!

It had been fairly peaceful since Jokul had finally left this life. Over the past year since this event, Jack and the Guardians had smiles upon their faces and nothing had been able to keep them dropped for long periods of time. Also during this time the Guardians had taken great caution as to not trigger the darker side of fun that now resigned within Jack Frost. When the group had to deal with a threat or something, Jack had never cracked, never even showed a sign of doing so, and afterwards the others would make sure to have some sort of celebration to keep the lighter side of fun strong.

And it could have continued like this had they not been attacked and kidnapped.

Of course they hadn't been grabbed all at once. Oh no. They had each been separated from each other before they were attacked.

First had been Tooth. Not because she was the weakest or anything of that thinking. It was more of the fact that she would be the one who would be mostly focused of her work. It was middle of spring right now so it was really only her and Sandy who were the busiest. Anyway, back on topic. She was in the middle of fluttering about and giving orders to her mini fairies, that she never even noticed the shadow behind her with gleaming crimson and black eyes and a wicked smile of razor teeth. The minis screamed in terror but by the time she turned around, everything went black.

Next had been North. He was working in his office, door closed and locked to keep the yetis and elves out so they didn't destroy his work. That was a big mistake. With the door closed and the constant noise that went on outside the office, no one would be able to hear him scream. The sinister shadow formed behind him and, just to enjoy itself, it chuckled, gaining North's attention. Turning around North spotted the shadow and as he let out a shout, his vision was filled with darkness.

Next was Bunny. He instantly knew something was amiss, that something unwanted was within his Warren. Nose twitching, ears turning, and eyes searching the Guardian sought out the intruder. A chuckle was heard and Bunny quickly threw a boomerang towards the sound but it ended up hitting…nothing. Absolutely nothing but air. Bunny looked around in confusion. Just then a shadow rose up behind him and, this time, before he could react, darkness enveloped him.

Next was Jack. The other three had been easier to get because they didn't constantly travel the world. While it was true that it was currently spring that did not mean Jack would sit still in one place. No that idea was crazy! Anyway, Jack was currently flying through the air when he caught sight of a shadow watching him from the ground, its shape blending in from the shade caused by the trees that were there. As Jack froze in the air to stare at the shape that just grinned up at him, the wind tugged upon his lifelong companion, urging him to flee from it. Jack just continued to watch it when suddenly his eyes widened as the shadow grew and a darkness shot itself at him. Jack let the wind pull him away as his friend propelled the winter spirit through the air with great speed. The figure followed.

Jack zipped through the air as he searched for some place to be safe and he soon came across the part of the globe that was night. He could find Sandy! Jack flew around frantically until he found a tendril of dream-sand and followed it to its source. There he found the dream-weaver upon his cloud of sand. Sandy waved at him, but Jack didn't wave back. Instead he flew quickly up to the other's face.

"Sandy! Quick you have to help-AH!" Jack let out a scream of pain as the dark shadow hit him in the back. Gasping in pain, Jack collapsed onto the cloud of sand, eyes half way open and fluttering

Sandy's eyes widened as he watched his fellow Guardian collapse at his feet, barely conscious. Turning towards the attacker Sandy had his sand whips ready as he stood over his now unconscious friend. The shadow just grinned as it threw a wave of darkness at the golden man, but as Sandy lashed his whips to make it disappear, the ropes just went through the darkness while at the same time, sounding like they scrapped against metal. Pain erupted upon his forehead as the darkness hit him and Sandy passed out, his last view of the shadow grinning down at him.

This is where they are now.

Sandy opened his eyes to find himself within a glass cage, having no little cracks at all. Looking through the glass he spotted his fellow Guardians each in their own special cage. North was in a simple bar cage with his arms chained to the sides of the cage. Tooth was in a cage similar to a bird cage and her wings were chained together behind her back as well as her arms. Bunny was in a cage similar to North's but instead he had a chain tying his arms and ankles to the ground but the chains were slacked allowing him to move his arms close to the bars. And finally Jack was in a metal cage that hug over a pool of water. There was a difference, besides the water as everyone else had solid ground under them, between him and the others. He wasn't chained up or anything and that made the dream-weaver be filled with both curiosity and worry about why that was.

A sickening cheerful voice that was both deep and high in pitch attracted their attention. "Hooray! You're all awake now! Now we can start." The voice came from the shadow that had chased them all down, his sharp grin and bloody eyes gleaming in the darkness at them.

Me: MUHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA! Its time for the pain!

Pitch: *glares* your demented.

Me: I know!

Pitch: *sighs*

Me: Well it's like 3:00 at night right now so I'm done for tonight!

Feel free to comment, suggest, flame, etc.

Until next time! :D
