Onto the chapter!

A man walked out of the shadows, and he seemed to come from a living nightmare. His skin was a sickly color and was so skinny you could see each individual bone. His hair had bald spots and stuck out in random directions. Broken chains hung from his wrists and his fingers had razor like claws. His feet were bare but had long nails with pointed tips and feet dribbled with blood and dirt. His outfit was ripped up maroon pants and a destroyed brown shirt. The rips upon both the shirt and pants showed cuts and wounds that seemed to litter his body. He grinned his sharp and wicked smile as his hollow black and red eyes glinted with malice.

"Who are you?! Why did you kidnap us!?" North exclaimed, struggling against his chains.

"Well if you must know I am Kasakit, spirit of pain and torture." He answered. "And I'm kidnapping you really for two reasons. One is for my entertainment and the other reason was because I was ordered to weaken each of you."

"By who!?" Tooth exclaimed.

"I do believe I don't have to answer you little birdy. But let's focus on my entertainment yes?" Laugher drew each of their attention to the winter spirit who was kneeling in the center of his own cage.

"Why are bloody laughing Frostbite!" Bunny snapped.

"Oh nothing just it seems we're always in this situation. Doesn't it get a bit old? I mean come on!" the boy chuckled.

"Oh really," Kasakit sneered, "I don't think so. You've never had me to deal with before and I happen to know some of the best ways to- STOP THAT!" The other Guardians snickered as they watched Jack open and close his hand in a mocking motion.

Growling, Kasakit reached through the bars and pulled Jack forward, but not enough to touch the bars. "You should know by now that you can't escape." He hissed into his ear. Jack scowled and tried to punch his face without touching the bar but all Kasakit did was move away.

"I'll leave you be for now, since I have to decide what to do first." With that he left the cave that they were in trapped in.

"Jack! Are you alright!" Tooth shouted over to his cage. They were in a circle so they could each see each other where they were.

"I'm fine." Jack answered, his eyebrows furrowed in frustration.

"Jack do you know why you are not chained like the rest of us?" North asked. Jack lifted his head to see the others also looking at him with that question in their eyes.

"Yeah I do." Jack answered. "I can't touch the bars or I'll get burned." Then he looked around and spotted their weapons in a corner, almost as if taunting them. But his staff was intact and Jack was thankful for that. He really didn't need that pain right now.

Jack hummed for a moment be for slowly poking the bars and letting frost curl over two of them. Then, before it could melt, he gripped the bars tightly and focused ice on them so he could break it. It didn't work for as soon as his hands touched the metal, it heated up and instantly melted the ice, heat hitting Jack's hands full force. Jack let out a shout of pain as he ripped his hands from the bars.

"Jack!" The other's shouted.

"I-I'm…I'm fine." Jack gasped out as he iced over his raw hands. It stung so much but he wasn't going to cry over a burn.

"You're not allowed to do that again Frostbite." Bunny scolded.

"Aw…you do…care." Jack responded with a smirk.

"Oh rack off." But the Guardian of Hope had a smile upon his face. "Ok now we need to figure out a way out of here that doesn't include getting Snowflakes hands burned off."

"Oh no you won't be going anywhere." Kasakit spoke as he appeared once more. He looked towards Jack's cage. "I must say that was a pitiful attempt but entertaining none the less. But seeing as you've already hurt yourself, I can skip you. So I'll go to you rabbit, because you're the one who spoke of escaping."

As he began to walk towards Bunny's cage, Jack spoke up. "NO! No don't hurt him! Any of them!" He turned to look at the winter spirit who had his hands clenched around the bars, but seemed to be ignoring the pain in order to protect the others.

"Are you trying to tell me what to do?" Kasakit asked as he walked towards the cage. Once he stood in front of it he lowered his eyes to the hands wrapped around the bars, the smell of burning flesh and the sound of sizzling from that area. Reaching forward, his clawed hands slowly uncurled the hands from the bars and cooed at the sight of the darkened flesh. Chains clinking on his arms, he slowly wrapped one hand bony hand around the thin wrists and raised his other hand to scrape across the burnt flesh with a claw. Jack winced at the feeling.

"Poor little winter spirit." He cooed in fake sympathy. "Would you like something for that? Here I'll help." Then, with a wicked smile, Kasakit backed away and with a snap of his fingers, Jack's cage plunged into the dark water beneath him.

Turning back to the other four and leaving Jack completely under the water, the demented spirit smile, "Let's get back to business shall we?"
