Thank you all for reviews/follows/favorites.

Me: So this is the last part of this arc for Liliana Dragonshard. Oh and I see that a lot of you want to see the "Painful Torture Causes Triggers" to update! Well you must wait ok?

Pitch: I'm surprised you and your sick mind isn't racing to write that arc.

Me: Well, I'm a little stuck with it at the moment ok? But the next update should be it.

Pitch: Whatever.

Whelp onto the chapter!

It's been a few weeks since the other Guardians had interfered with Jack's fight, and he hasn't seen any sign of the sprites. It had been a quiet couple of weeks, spreading snow where it was needed and not dealing with any upset spirits. It wasn't until he was relaxing in a snowdrift that a voice called out.

"Hello again, Frost." Jack sighed as he turned to the voice, finding the three sprites from before.

"Come to try and keep your promise to hurt me?" Jack asked, rising to his feet.

"Oh, more than just hurt you." One of them said.

Jack smirked. "I said, try." With that he held his staff in front of him in defense. Chuckling, the spring sprite snapped his fingers and thorn covered vines came rushing at him. Jack swung his staff to freeze each vine, a few getting small cuts before freezing, when Jack suddenly let out a shout as pain flared across his back. Turning around he froze the sharp branch before breaking it. He continued to block the attacks thrown at him, but that didn't mean they all got out clean.

When they each paused to take panting breaths, Jack, the one out of the four with the most wounds, realized something. The wind hadn't left yet. Usually, by now she was off getting the other Guardians. But as she swirled around him now, helping as much as she could, Jack realized that she was waiting; waiting for Jack to ask for help.

He hesitated. While it was true he could easily handle these sprites, he didn't want to kill them. But if he didn't try to take them out, they would just return with as much strength they could muster and attack him until he lay at their feet; but he wouldn't let that happen. Then again, he could call on the Guardians for help, but why should he? He could deal with them.

He was jerked out of his thoughts when he felt a piercing pain shoot through his mind. With a shout, he looked down to see vines impaling his left shoulder, right side, and thigh. Scowling, he broke the vines and iced over his wounds. Squashing down his pride, Jack silently called out to the wind. He felt her give a twirl before taking off and leaving.

With a sigh, he turned back to the battle at hand, he wasn't going to let them take him without a fight.

The wind rushed through the sky as it traveled to find the closest Guardians. First it went to Asia and informed Tooth, who instantly understood Jack needed help and set to follow the wind. Next it went to the Pole and Tooth got North while the wind searched for the Warren. When it found an entrance, it searched out the Guardian of Hope and pulled him out of his Warren where he met with the other two. They followed the wind as it quickly got Sandy and led the group to its frost child.

When they got there, they found a panting, beat up Jack fighting off the three sprites who had attacked the winter spirit before. The wind didn't hesitate to jump into battle, blowing around and sending chilled whips at the sprites. Soon the Guardians joined in and it wasn't long until they chased the sprites off.

Once they were gone, they turned to their youngest, who swayed where he stood. Tooth zipped over and caught the boy as he fell to his knees.

"Oh Sweet-Tooth, are you alright?!"

"I'm fine, they just beat me up a little." Jack said with a small smile.

Bunny scowled. "Alright, Frostbite. Where'd they get you? I know you're injured, I can smell the blood."

Jack frowned. "I'm fine."

"No you're not."

"Jack, let us help you." North asked gently. The habit of taking care of himself rose up, only for Jack to swallow it back down and lower his gaze.

"I guess, I could use some help." The Guardians grinned triumphantly before they quickly transported to the infirmary. The ice over the wounds began to melt, but they were quickly fixed with some stitches and gauze. Sandy sent dream-sand to the winter spirit and as Jack drifted off to sleep, he heard a whisper pierce his ears.

"Glad you finally trust us, Snowflake." With that Jack drifted off to sleep.

Unbeknownst to the five, this was the start of a growing bond between them and the beginning of a strong belief to form. This was the beginning of their trust in this strange little family.

So that was that.

Me: I hope you enjoyed this arc!
