My first English fanfic, and it's about Ruri. Don't own YGO ARC-V and don't write this for commercial purposes. Enjoy.

Ruri fell down, gasped after her life point reduced 0. She already lost Yuri although she tried her best. She hate admiting but he was so strong, and she couldn't have any chance.

"So, now will you go with me?" Yuri smiled as usual, tilted his head and deactivated his duel disk.

Ruri stood up, kept slient in a moment. Yuri said he arrived to capture her. At the start of the Duel, he also said he could disengage her if she won, but…

"If I go with you," Ruri began, still a bit hesitant, "will you let my brother and other people alone?"

"Of course," Yuri smiled. "I'm only ordered to bring you to Professor. I don't have anything to do with others, unless they interfere with my buniness. And I think Obelisk Force will also think that way."

Ruri paled when heard about Obelisk Force. She knew they were strongest soliders of Academia. If they arrived, people certainly would be in danger.

"Please don't let them come here," Ruri begged. "I… I will go with you."

Ruri immediately regretted about what she just said. But even when she allowed, she didn't also say in a different way.

"You should have agree at the beginning," Yuri smiled and went to Ruri. She close her eyes, tried to not recede or fall down again. She didn't want to let her become poor in his view.

"Ruri!"

Suddenly, a similar voice resounded made Ruri opened her eyes. "Yuto!" she yelled.

"Is he your friend?" Yuri asked.

Ruri nodded. "Can I…" she began, "talk to him last time?"

"Why must I let you do that?" Yuri asked back. "We need to return Academia immediately."

"Please… I'll talk shortly." Ruri choked. "I won't able to meet him in a long time, or even never, so…"

"Alright," Yuri sighed. "But you should know what will happen if you try to escape."

"I understand. Thank you." Ruri replied and approached Yuto.

"Ruri," Yuto hugged her quickly as soon as posibble. "Are you alright? Who is he?"

"I'm fine," she smiled and pulled herself out his arms. "He's Yuri, a Duelist from Academia, and he arrive… to capture me."

"What?" Yuto surpised and glanced at Yuri. "What are you saying? So why are you still here? Hurry up. We must run-"

"Where can we run to?" she snapped, sadly smiled. "He'll go everywhere and do everything to capture me. I can't let anyone face with danger because of me. Let me go with him. That's the best choice."

"But-" Yuto tried to resist.

"No buts," Ruri shook her head and reassured him. "Don't worry. They order him to capture me, that means they don't want to hurt me. I'll return, Yuto. I promise. Because this's my homeland."

"Ruri…" Yuto whispered. He knew he couldn't stop her once she decided. "Take care of yourself."

She nodded. "You too, Yuto. I entrust my brother for you. Please protect him."

Yuto nodded, trying to prevent tears flowed out. Ruri smiled with him, a innocent smile as an angel's. Then she turned and returned to Yuri.

"So… can we leave now?" Yuri smiled, asked. "Professor is waiting for you."

Ruri nodded and waited Yuri to activate his duel disk. She looked around last time. She wanted to save images of this city in her mind, even when it was only a dilapidated one, until she could see it again.

Yuto's eyes widened while both Yuri and Ruri were fading away. He was only one here at this time. He felt he was so useless when couldn't protect her. His scream resounded as if was ripping the air.

"RURI!"
