Chapter 7: First Anniversary

They finished their meals with only idle chatter. It was about time to head back so Gray could get some last minute practice in.

Natsu listened to him talk about the great experiences he's now had and saw how his eyes lit up when he was talking about his music and how much he's learned. They reached the recreational hall, and Gray rested his hand on Natsu's shoulder. He said, "I'll see you after the show." And began to walk away, but Natsu reached out quickly.

"Wait!" He called out.
