Ever since their dinner "date" a week ago,Tina started not to mind that she was around Remy all the much anymore. There was still moments here and there where her shyness decided to kick in, but it wasn't as often as it use to be. Hell even after the training got done, she went on gabbing on about anything, which amused him. But today she had gotten a letter from an old friend, one she did not expect to get.

She decided snuck out of the mansion and headed out, to the near by park, just like the note said, then waited. "After so many years why bother trying to find me now?" She thought to herself, re-reading the note.

Minutes turn to hours before a familiar sight came into view. A curly ball of brown hair, and the gleam came off of a pair of glasses. Lean, scrawny, with a short lab coat.

"I never thought you would made it, E..." She said with her arms crossed, wondering what was this about.

"Ah Nightmare the years have been kind to you. Though your hair was much shorter the last time I saw you.." E chuckle in a dark manner.

E was a crazed nut job, always working on drawings of blood and guts, or experimenting on those who he went begging to. None knew what the E actually stood for, and none asked cause he would had gone in a crazy rant about it saying it was none of their business. But other then that he was always quite.

"Just tell me what the fuck you want, and why you wanted to look for me after all of these years?" Tina growled out.

"Tsk tsk tsk, I merely wrote to you to get you out here, and that I have a favor to ask of my favorite little rat." He laughed hearing her growled.

"What sort of favor?" She questioned. The last time he asked a favor of her, it ended up with her gaining another power, one that took her much longer to control then her mutant ability.

"Times have been rough, I have seen less and less who could use improvement on. Each one a failed trial at best, and since you did so well with the last one..." He was caught off guard with Tina grabbing him.

"No fucking way, I told you after the first one not to ask me to do another!" E then smacked her across the face, in order to make her drop him.

"You were a bitch to track down you should know that.." E got up after falling onto the ground dusting off his coat. "And I'm not going to let a perfect lab rat like yourself out of my sight..."

"I told you no, why the hell would I let you do it again?" Rubbing her cheek that was started to swollen.

"As a token of your friendship of course. Since you were one to never had said no before." He slowly went to clean his glasses, before putting it back on. "After all isn't that how you ended up with, oh whats his name again...Justin wasn't it? That was some wedding, the shittest thing I have ever witness in my life, and I have seen a lot of shitty things, but that took the cake."

"Well times change, and I am saying no now. Now leave me with fuck alone.." Tina got up and quickly ran away into a huge crowd of people.

E started cleaning his glasses once again. "Oh dont worry, I won't dare let you slip away now that I tracked you down. After all my new boss and I have a very special machine that we are just waiting to test on you." E chuckled darkly before walking off in the opposite direction.

Once Tina got back to the mansion, she ran straight into her bedroom, grabbing an ice pack and putting it on her face. She couldn't understand why after so many years have past that now out of the blue E decided to ask her for a favor. Of course she wouldn't do it again, but she knew it wouldn't be the last time that he would be coming around to look for her. Her eyes slowly started to close, as a faint but familiar voice was ringing in her ear.

"I dunno about this, E. I mean I could die or something.." A newly 15 year old Tina was pointing at a pretty evil looking machine with a strap down table attach to it.

"Death isn't the worse thing that can happen to you. And besides I tested it out on myself, and I'm alright..." E was undoing the straps and tinkering with the machine buttons and levelers.

"But I..." None of her closest friends knew she was a mutant and didn't know what the machine could do to her. And when they asked for her name, she always gave Nightmare as it wasn't the weirdest name they have heard.

"Trust me on this Nightmare, it will do you no harm.." E lied through his teeth, he had tested his new horror machine which seem to be everything he made on rats and big birds. He needed to test it on a human subject, and asked Nightmare to help him with it, as she would never say no to a friend. But if she kept on being hesitant, he always had a back up plan.

"I'm sorry E, but I cant...I hope you understand..." Nightmare quickly went to the door, but felt something going into her as her sight started fading out, before she passed out onto the ground.

"Sorry, but I have no choice, no hard feelings right.." E was holding a tranquilizer gun, as he went and carried his out cold test rat, taking the dart out of her neck. He knew she may not survive the experiment, and he did not care. Not for his work, and if she did live through it she would not remember a thing...or so he thought.

The only thing Nightmare could feel in pain going through her body, as her screams went through her head, hearing the faint disturb dark laughter of E.

Tina woke up outta her sleep by her screams, looking around noticing she was covered in sweat, and breathing hard. She hoped that she didn't wake anyone who were near her bedroom, as she slowly and silently cried, rocking herself back and forth.
