Hey everyone! What's going on in the lives of my readers, hmm? Today I want to treat you all to a special chapter since you've all been so patient in waiting for new chapter updates. I know that's not what some of you want to hear, but I assure you that the next chapter is practically finished; I just need to read through it once more before I actually post it.

Now just so you guys know, this chapter takes place sometime in the future after the KHR crew manages to get back home so the scenery is going to be different and the works. Okay?

Here is the Valentine's Day special for you guys. Let the shenanigans ensue!

"Augh!" Tsuna groaned at the sun filtering through his curtains in his bedroom. Placing an arm over his eyes, he heard his home tutor shift in his hammock before addressing the teen.

"Tsuna, what are you doing so early in the morning?"

"Trying to will the sun away." Reborn paused at the answer he received and peered over his hammock at the teen. Tsuna lied there for a good minute before shifting and swinging his legs out of bed and sitting up. Reborn rose a brow and started at his student. The brunette final found it in him to push off his bed and begin his morning routine for school. Reborn continued to watch his charge right up to the point where he left out the door.

"...I'll give him the day off today; triple the training tomorrow." That said, the hitman rolled over in his make-shift bed and instantly fell asleep, determined to count a few more sheep before a cow had the unfortunate chance to stumble into his realm.

Nana Sawada was in an exceptionally cheerful mood this fine, sunny morning; whipping up breakfast in which had a mouth-watering smell wafting throughout the house. A large yet gentle smile graced her lips as she hummed a lively tune. The kitchen table was being piled high with breakfast foods in hopes to be devoured by the family that resided in the home; and none too soon. The young brunette just finished searing a couple of fish as her ears perked at the sound of her son descending the stairs. The teen looked rather exhausted in her eyes as he entered the kitchen mumbling a good morning before seating himself in his usual spot. A knowing look crossed her features as she ventured over to place the fish in front of him.

"Good morning, Tsu-kun! Happy Valentine's Day," she exclaimed as she placed a tender kiss atop of his head. The young don groaned at the mention of the holiday and sunk in his chair.

"I don't know what's so 'happy' about it; being left out every year." The mother Sawada just continued smiling while her son lazily ate away. A recent memory drifted into her mind of last night as she washed away at the dishes.

Nana trudged down the steps tiredly heading towards the kitchen in hoped to make a warm mug of milk to help relax her sore muscles and get her to drift off to dreamland. Once entering the kitchen, however, she was met with the site of her newest house guest who looked to be cooking something over the stove.

"Kaminika, what are you doing up so late?" At the mention of her name the girl turned to the voice and smiled slightly before turning back to the stove.

"I am finishing up on a project that I have been working on for the past few days. I am terribly sorry if I awoke you with any noise."

"Oh no! Not at all. I hadn't even realized you were down here." The girl chuckled slightly and returned her focus to the pot. Nana peered around the dark kitchen to see nothing really out of place or messy, but caught the sight of shadowy figures lying atop of the kitchen table. She rose a delicate brow, but decided not to question. Making her way over to the stove, the teen turned with a mug in hand and offered it to the Sawada matriarch.

"I kind of noticed how tired you were today and figured you might come down for this." Nana accepted the mug, noticing it contained the warm milk she sought after, and smiled in thanks. Taking a sip, she watched Kaminika turn back to the stove and stir the contents in the pot once more. Curiosity reigned in the mother's mind as she peeked over the younger girls shoulder to look in the pot.

Another hum escaped the brunette's lips at the thought before she snapped back to reality.

"Tsu-kun, you'll be late if you don't hurry." A chocking sound followed her statement on top of rustling and crashing. She heard a rushed "I'm off" before her front door slammed shut. At the same time, a wide awake Bianchi came down the stairs just in time to see the young Sawada hightail it out the door.

"What's his rush, maman," she questioned as she rounded the hall into the kitchen. Nana hummed again and giggled a little as she cleaned off a pan.

"Silly boy didn't even bother to look at the clock." Bianchi rose a brow and glanced at the clock on the oven. True to her word the clock read numbers that deemed it way too early to be heading off to school. Almost an hour so. The pinkette turned to the mother again ready to question her motives only to cut off by hurried steps descending the staircase.

"Gyahaha! Breakfast, breakfast!"

"Lambo, bad! No running in house!"

"So hungry..."

"Lambo, please slow down. I fear you are going to hurt yourself." Seconds later the kitchen was flooded with the houses guests, giddy to eat some food. Lambo immediately sat himself in a chair and grabbed the plate that Nana had offered him. He muttered a "Thanks for the food" over his should and began digging in as the other two children sat down.

"Lambo, you have really bad manner." I-pin stated as she also received a plate from the mother Sawada.

"Good morning, maman," Fuuta told her groggily, rubbing at his eye. He rather not get involved with the cow child's shenanigans before he had his breakfast.

"Good morning to you, as well, Fuuta-kun." The boy smiled and thanked her for the plate. After that she turned to the final guest in her kitchen.

"Good morning, Kaminika. Would you like some breakfast?" The girl mentioned smiled back pleasantly and shook her head, making her way towards the fridge instead.

"Not this morning, Sawada-san. I have a lot to do today so, for me, food is going to have to wait a little while. I never thought in my life I would have to say that." The mother giggled at the response as the girl opened the fridge.

"Is Tsunayoshi-san up yet?" Nana giggled again as Bianchi turned her attention to the two older girls.

"Oh, I'm so sorry, Kaminika. You just missed him. He headed off to school a little while ago." At that, the teen retracted her head from the fridge and stared at the woman before glancing at the oven clock.

"This early? There is still a good forty-five minutes before school starts. It is not that far from here." Nana just kept her smile up and shrugged her shoulders getting back to the dishes. Kaminika's brow rose as she peered over in Bianchi's direction who, in turn, shook her head and shrugged her shoulders, too. The cloaked girl scrunched up her face into a slight pout as she pulled out what she needed from in the fridge.

"Well, now how am I supposed to give these to Tsunayoshi-san without making a big fuss?" A good few colored boxes no bigger than her palm overflowed in her arms, all beautifully decorated.

"You could always wait for the both of you to get home and give them to him," Nana suggested finishing up the dishes in the sink.

"That would be waiting to long; plus it defeats the purpose. I do not want him to feel left out," she stated whilst handing a rose colored box to Bianchi who thanked her.

"Then I guess you have no other choice than to give it to him at school," the brunette chimed as she wiped off Lambo's face. Kaminika frowned, but gave up none the less. A sigh escaped her lips as she went to ascend the stairs.

"No choice, huh?"

Tsuna grumbled as his fell back into his seat in his classroom. His mom sent him off to school a whole hour early without him bothering to check the clock. Hibari looked pleasantly surprised at his early arrival, but that had no soothing effect on his mood. He was the only one, save for the sports clubs, that was on school grounds and that just made him a tad bit more fowl. Leave it alone that today was Valentine's and the school will soon be filled with students trying to declare their love, or to a lesser degree like, for each other.

The brunette thought back to last Valentine's when he almost got poisoned thanks to Bianchi and her crackers. Yeah, the girls made chocolate fondue for the guys and such, but that was automatically ruined by the crackers. Heck, there was no telling if the girls where even doing anything for them this year, and if they were, please leave the poison cooker out of it! A heavy sigh left the boy's lips and he placed his head on his arms that were resting on his desk. Maybe a few more minutes of sleep would do him some good.

At that moment, the classroom door flew open causing the brunette to peer out from under his arms to see a out-of-breath redhead slump through the entrance. He made his way over to his desk that way a few back and a row over from the other teen and crashed in his seat. He took a few minutes to catch his breath before letting his forehead hit the desk in exhaustion.

"You too, Enma-kun?"

"Adlheid thought it would be a wonderful idea to send me to school forty-five minutes early." Tsuna let out an understanding hum in response.

"I dread this holiday," the redhead groaned out at particularly nothing.

"Don't we all."

"Okay, I still have at least twenty minutes before the bell rings for class," Kaminika stated, glancing down at her watch as she stood in front of the gates of Namimori Middle School. She noticed Hibari standing off in a far corner of the gates making as little effort to socialize as possible. The girl shook her head and made her way inside crossing the grounds. Her mind wandered off to the possibilities the day could bring as students began to fill the school.

"Hey, Kaminika!" The cloaked female turned at the sound of her name coming from the baseball field. Sure enough, there stood Yamamoto in all his baseball glory waving at her once he was sure he got her attention. The girl smiled and waved back, shifting the tote on her shoulder to a more comfortable position. The other teen grinned and turned back towards the field where his teammates awaited him letting the purple haired girl go on her way.

Once inside the school, the chatter of early students filled her ears as she made her way down the hall. Many talks of plans for after school and morning greetings drifted from the teens in a flurry of a jumbled up mess. On top of the students, the Disciplinary Committee flooded the corridors determined to "keep the peace" at the school on this most eventful of days. The girl could only pray that no one got seriously hurt today.

Ascending the staircase to the third floor, Kaminika made her way down the hall towards the Reception room. Once there, she saw Kusakabe just exiting out the door with some papers in hand he was reading. Looking up he spotted the cloaked female.

"Saffire-san, good morning. What brings you to the Reception room?" The girl only smiled and handed him a light gray colored box with a beautiful white ribbon wrapping around it. The committee member took it, baffled, but thanked her none the less.

"This is quite unexpected, Saffire-san. Thank you."

"Not at all. I wanted to. May I enter," she inquired, nodding towards the door in hopes to go inside. The second-in-command pondered for a bit before opening the door and watching her enter. Kaminika looked over the room briefly, nice and neat as expected, and moved to the desk that stood at the back of the room. There she took out a dark purple colored box with the same white ribbon as Kusakabe's had and placed it in the middle of the desk. Giving it a once over, she nodded her head and walked back over to the door where Kusakabe waited.

"Was that all you needed." he asked once she exited and he closed the door. She nodded and turned to give him a grateful smile.

"Yes. Thank you, Tetsuya-san. Have a lovely Valentine's Day." The teen nodded as he watched the girl walk off. Straightening the papers in his hands he, too, began his trek to go see Hibari to give him yesterday's reports on detention. As he walked, he couldn't help but look down at the box in is hand that the purple haired girl gave him. Before he even realized it a small smile began to tug at his lips.

Before heading back downstairs to the second year hall, Kaminika had one more stop to make on the third year floor. This would be her third delivery today seeing how Hibari and Kusakabe were her second. Prior to reaching the school, the girl made a detour to Kyokou Land where her first delivery resided. No one was there when she arrived so she decided to just leave her gifts for when they returned. As she was leaving, though, Chrome showed up giving Kaminika the chance to at least give the other girl her present. The mist guardian was overjoyed to say the least when she received the dark indigo box with a white ribbon. The other girl left with the promise to see her eye-patch wearing friend at school.

Reaching her destination, Kaminika knocked before entering the third year classroom. Not many students were present as of yet, but the ones that were didn't pay her much mind except for the occasional glance.

"Excuse me, were might I find Ryohei-san's desk," the girl questioned a student who in turn pointed to a desk in the middle row. Her thanks fell on deaf ears as he continued talking to his friend which made the girl shrug in response. Once she approached the desk, she shuffled in her tote and brought forth a bright yellow colored box with signature ribbon and set it on the desk. Satisfied she exited the classroom and went towards the second floor.

"Tenth, I am so sorry I couldn't accompany you to school this morning!"

"Don't even worry about it, Gokudera-kun. You probably weren't up that early anyway."

"But, Tenth-"

"Maa, maa, Gokudera. Tsuna said it's fine!"

"NO ONE ASKED YOU!" Class 2-B was filled with shouting and laughter when Kaminika open the door five minutes before the bell was set to ring. Yamamoto, hearing the door open, saw the girl step in and smile gently in their direction at the sight of them.

"Kaminika! There you are. I was wondering where you went." The outburst gained the group's attention as she closed the door behind her. She chuckled in response.

"Kaminika-chan; Happy Valentine's Day!" Kyoko who had been watching the exchange, skipped over and gave the girl a small hug in which she returned.

"And to you as well, Kyoko." The shorter girl smiled and released the other from her hold. Just then, the classroom door opened again and in stepped Chrome. Kyoko bounded over to the shy girl to give her greetings leaving Kaminika to face the group of boys who had been observing.

"Happy Valentine's Day, gentlemen. How are we this morning?" Yamamoto laughed at the question while Gokudera scoffed and Tsuna groaned. Just about what she expected. Off to the side she noticed Enma seated alone at his desk not looking to socialize. Kaminika was having none of that.

"Good morning, Enma-san. Happy Valentine's Day." At being addressed, the young don shot his head up and looked around before having his eyes land on the cloaked girl.

"Oh, Kaminika-chan. Good morning," he answered tiredly and placed his head back on his desk. The female shook her head in mirth and let the boy be for now; class was going to start soon. The students were still being loud, mostly because of the girls who found it in themselves to finally give their chocolates to the two popular boys in the class (Yamamoto and Gokudera). One was accepting them with a smile while the other sneered and yelled that he didn't want the sweet treats, though it didn't have much merit as he only made the girls swoon. The ruckus soon had the door swinging open again; this time with a less than pleased Hibari.

"Herbivores, if you don't cease you're excessive chatter this instant and stop disrupting the peace, I will bite you all to death and give each of you detention." At the corner of her eye, Kaminika could see Tsuna placing his face in his hands as if he knew this was going to happen.

"Oh, come on, Hibari. It's Valentine's Day; you should've expected this. We're kids, let us have a little fun." Yamamoto stated causing the cloud to turn his glare on to him. Some teen, including Kaminika herself, had to stifle their laughter at the boldness of the baseball player.

"He is right you know," she started in gaining a reign on her giggles, "I do not really like this holiday either, but it is bound to have at least some yelling going on. You should have come equipped with earplugs if you did not want to be subjected to it." The class erupted in roars of laughter at the female's words. Even Tsuna, Chrome, and Enma looked ready to fall over from how hard the tried to hold back their mirth. Hibari's eyes narrowed and he made a move to retort.

"EXTREME!" The laughter paused as the students watched the whole third floor shake above them from the loud exclamation that carried throughout the building. No one made a move as the shaking ceased and silence followed. Wide eyes watched as Hibari exited the classroom and marched toward the staircase that lead to the third floor, determination seated on his shoulders and a fire in his eyes. No more than a few seconds later did the homeroom teacher rush into the room looking haggard and out of breath.

"Did anyone else feel that earthquake?!"

Homeroom ended without a hitch followed closely by the next three classes. Break time was hectic as Tsuna expected with everyone and their sister trying to give their significant others, or rather the popular kids in the grade, gifts and sweets. The brunette was half expecting to spend his lunch alone on the roof with how much his two friends were being crowded by the girls I his class and from others. Normally he would have waited for Gokudera and Yamamoto but it would likely take the entire break for the line that formed outside of the classroom to disappear. His saving grace came in the form of one Enma Kozato who was having the same idea he did.

Before they left, though, the soon-to-be Vongola don noticed Kaminika pulling out her lunch and looking troubled by the suddenly crowded classroom. The two males shared a look and walked over to the girl.

"Hey, Kaminika. Would you like to have lunch with us. It's a bit crowded in here." Tsuna offered with Enma nodding behind him. A relieved look crossed her face from what they could see and she nodded.

"I would like that very much, yes." The two males smiled and motioned for her to follow causing the girl to chuckle gaining some students attention. Two steps in the purple haired girl paused.

"Oh, you two, wait." The boys stopped and turned to face the girl who went back to her things searching her tote that she brought.

"I almost forgot." Taking out two boxes, she walked back over to the two and smiled. Handing a burgundy box to the Simon don and a red-orange box to the Vongola don, the boys exchanged questioning glances. The female just kept up her grin while the other two looked at her for an explanation.

"Happy Valentine's Day, Tsunayoshi-san, Enma-san." It took a minute for the two boys to process what the girl said before their faces turn such a dark shade of red that the students watching the exchange were sure it was unhealthy. It didn't take long for the boys to start muttering nonsense and try to give the boxes back saying that they didn't deserve them or that it was wasted on them or how she didn't have to give them anything. In return she only shook her head and pushed the boxes back in their hands and said that they were theirs to keep. After a few minutes of pushing back and forth, the boys gave in and accepted the gifts from the girl. It became safe to say that both of the young dons' moods lifted for the rest of the day if the stupid grins on their faces were anything to go by.

"Hey, Tsuna," Yamamoto yelled, breaking from the adoring girls and making his way over to the trio. He slung an arm around the brunette's shoulder and gave him a crooked grin. "Isn't that great? You got a Valentine's Day gift!" The students began to mutter around them.

"Of course he did, you idiot," the bomber, who had overheard shouted rushing to his boss' side, "why wouldn't he?!"

"Hey, Kaminika," Yamamoto addressed the cloak girl, ignoring the silverette to his right, "do you got anymore?" At the question, Kaminika practically lit up and rushed back over to her tote retrieving a light blue and red colored boxes. Handing them over to their respective person, she grinned brightly.

"Here you are." Yamamoto laughed stating something along the lines of "I knew it' while the bomber clicked his tongue and turned his head accepting the gift reluctantly. The baseball player accepted his gift from the girl and put it delicately in his pocket.

"I'll keep this one." Walking back over to his desk he grabbed his lunch and returned to the group. "Thanks for the gift!" Kaminika shook her head as if it was no big deal and the baseball player turned to his boss/friend.

"Can we join you for lunch, Tsuna?" The teen gave him a look that said "Why is that even a question" and motioned for the group to follow him to the roof leaving a classroom full of dumbfounded students.

After lunch, the rest of the day went by pretty peacefully. Tsuna and the others found out that Kaminika not only made gifts for themselves, but practically everybody she came to know when they first arrived to her castle, though she explained that she sent them out some days or weeks in advance so they would get to their owners by today. They also witnessed half of the school go ballistic when she handed Kyoko a gift as well. On top of that, right before class had started again, Ryohei went tearing through the school searching for the cloaked female and, once found, proceeded to lift her off the ground by her waste in a bear hug and spun her around several times shouting thank yous for the gift he received. Well, Hibari caught wind of that and without mercy tonfa'd his lights out for multiple counts of disrupting the peace and inappropriate exhibitions of PDA.

All in all, the young Vongola don's day ended on a positive note along with some others. Everyone ended up coming over his house for a dinner and he didn't really mind all of the noise and destruction this time. Everyone was happy and no one was left out of the young purple haired female's kindness. It was hard having her around at first, but that tribulation came to pass easily after awhile of just getting to know each other and now she was a part of everyone's lives like family. She was kind, caring and affectionate and she displayed all of that today with melting everyone's hearts.

Tsuna didn't really like Valentine's Day before for obvious reasons; always being left out and forgotten because others didn't think he was worth anything. However, if today was only a glimpse of what was to come in the future for his family, with all of the love, kindness and caring air spreading around the Family and not the hostile, evil one constricting around them like most mafia, then maybe, just maybe, he could look forward to next Valentine's Day; and everyday after that as well.
