Chapter 3
"Ami, can you get that box for me, honey." Miki called to her daughter who was paying attention to her phone. "Fine, be there in a second." Ami sighed and picked up the box. "Thanks. So what do you think of the house?" Miki asked. "It's nice, but how come we had to move?" Ami replied. "Well," Miki started. "You and your siblings are growing up and were losing space in the other house. So, your father and I thought that we could start fresh with this move." Miki walked into the house leaving Ami outside. Ami sighed and smiled, "I guess this move won't be that bad," she thought to herself. "It'll be alright." Ami started towards the house when something caught her eye. A black figure swiftly dashed across the window above her. "It's probably just a bird or something." Ami thought and walked inside.
"So, guys! What do you think of the house?" Kiyoshi asked the kids. "It's nice, I guess." Mikiko replied. "It's great, Daddy." Takeo answered with joy. "That's fantastic." Miki replied. " Now let's finish unpacking. I want to be done by nightfall."
Later that night, the Moshimos finished most of their unpacking, ate their dinner and the children got ready for bed. Ami was brushing her teeth at the bathroom sink. She spat out the toothpaste out of her mouth and wiped the remaining toothpaste from her lips. However, she suddenly felt that somebody was watching her from behind. She looked up into the mirror and found a short black figure standing behind the shower curtains. Ami turned around quickly, but the shadow disappeared as Ami's eyes locked onto the curtains. "Hello?" She called out, but no one answered. She slowly approached the curtains quietly. Ami quickly pulled the curtains only to find nothing. "I should get some rest and everything will be fine in the morning." She thought and quickly got into bed.
