Chapter 4
Kiyoshi opened his eyes, as he lay in his bed, looking up at the blank ceiling above him. He turned his head to look at the clock, which read 4:00 A.M. Kiyoshi tried desperately to go back to sleep, but for some reason, Kiyoshi felt sort of restless and uneasy. He sat up on his bed and turned to the window. The moon was out and shined a dim light on the window. Slowly but surely, Kiyoshi rose from the bed and walked to bathroom. He turned on the sink and splashed some warm water on his face. He looked at the mirror, which was covered with water vapor, and froze with horror. The words, "I KNOW WHO YOU ARE," were written on the mirror. Kiyoshi quickly wiped off the vapor and quickly escaped the room. He attempts to returns to his bedroom, but an apparition standing at the end of the hall stops him. The apparition was short and had sharp horns and claws.
"Who are you?" Kiyoshi whispered. Suddenly, the apparition charged at him. Kiyoshi quickly jumped out of the way as the ghost missed him. Kiyoshi landed near a wall with a light switch slightly above him. The apparition turned around and attempted to charge at him again. Kiyoshi quickly turned on the lights and the ghost quickly vanished with a loud shriek. He quickly realized that the howl had cause the whole family to awaken as they left their room or stayed by the open doors. Everybody became excited and scared about what that noise was. Kiyoshi told his kids to back to room and he'll explain it in the morning as he returned to his room with Miki concerned about him.
"Kiyoshi, what the hell happened?" Miki asked desperately. "I actually don't know what just happened. I just woke up early and went to the bathroom to relax, and then this shadow just appeared out of nowhere. I must been dreaming or something." "But what about that shriek I heard?" Miki replied.
" I don't know. It could've been a dog or some animal."
"Are you sure about that, you don't think that this house is…you know."
"I actually can't decide whether this was a haunting or not."
"Well, whatever it was, let's hope this was the only time we have an incident like this."
"Yeah, let's just get some sleep."
The couple laid down to rest and tried to get some sleep, but Kiyoshi stilled couldn't sleep, but tried to relax. He laid in his bed looking out the window until morning came.
