JD: I do NOT own ANYTHING! Not even the OCs. The songs will be in here are saying what's what at the end of the chapter like last time. Besides Smokey and the Bandit I think only other movie reference in this chapter is Convoy. Enjoy our (My, CLM, and MissDoomsDay) Craziness!

CLM: I LOVE YOU! Best beta I had as of yet!

MissDoomsDay: You are my favorite Co-Writer for a reason don't doubt yourself! You give me the most awesome ideas along does CLM!

Everyone Else: This is just a filler to let you in on some of their past and explain the Truckers.

YouKnowWhoYouAre: There is never enough duck tape, that's true. BUT if he's LITTLE Chino who is BIG Chino? Or do we not want to know? The guy is like 6'9"!

Blackbird

I saw from corner of my eye Sean suppressed a yawn that wants to escape. I know he's getting tired but they can't leave Gray Hound out here by himself. They always together and Gray Hound apparently had a shipment that he had to drop off first. So did Lew, I mean Fox. The twins I always forget to call by their handle names but Gray Hound it's always been either Gray Hound, Pops, Pa, or Rany-pa. Rany-pa came along because Amber was little and couldn't say Grandpa right so he made that up for her to call him. It's cute.

My eyes start to get heavy and I stifle a yawn myself. "If ya tired go back ta cuddlin' ya cat." Sean said looking out of the corner of his eye to me.

"I'm fine, Bubba." I said with a force smile. "Lets find Randy." I simply stated looking back out the window bored.

I saw Sean roll his eyes but did smirk at the fact I called him Bubba. I haven't done that in years. I look back to where I felt a stirring. At first it was a pissed off feeling then a feeling of aggravation. The final one was amusement. My eyes connect to brown eyes that gave me a look that made me want to follow Sean's order for me to go back to sleep. I shook my head and smile to Victor who went back to sleep easy enough though I don't think he's fully asleep.

:Miss Smokey, Dad broke down and finally shaved
Those sideburns off: We can hear Ray's voice come through the radio. I smirk to myself knowing she would have done something like that eventually. It was slightly hard to hear her through the static but happy to say we are closer to her then before.

"Almost there boys." I said to Sean and Victor. I heard a slight aggravated grunt from behind me but didn't feel it so it had to be forced. Sean did a slight cheer making me grin to him.

I got tired of no sounds in the cab besides on occasions chit-chat that Sean was trying to do with Victor or me. Victor only grunt or growl out which the chit-chat was cut off real fast. I smirk and answer his questions that he asked me but then they just died down.

:Ya boys betta have tat backdoor open for 'his ol' man!: Rang out of the radio and I bust out laughing. The thick country accent mix with something else wasn't hard to miss who was talking.

:Gray Hound, you are anything but old!: Amber yelled in to the CB making me laugh harder.

:Whatever ya say, Lil Miss Smokey. Lil Red coming up good and fas'.: I look out and saw a road coming to us and saw the huge red 18 Wheeler. Riding passenger was the infamous, wonderfully loved Ray, dancing around to who knows what. I can see Alina and Pete in the cab too. Alina laughing and Pete looks uncomfortable. The old man driving my heart leap slightly. I haven't seen him in forever it felt like.

:Silver Wolf, I've traveled here and everywhere
Following my job: Sean said in to the CB and I smile to him. He really cares about us like family. He is family, what am I saying?

:Thanks, Rattler, now lets get these girls in high gear and let ya boys rest?: I heard Ray ask laughing on the other end.

:Ten-Four, sweet mumma.: Sean laugh and then I heard another 10-4 from Lew. We went up the road then I heard something interesting from Sean. "Don't think we ever taken 'his path." I smile and looked around before reaching under my seat slipping out the emergency GPS system. Sir had thought of everything for them forever ago. Every year they are forced to update their traveling things because of Sir and Lady.

:Rattler, ya in lead, where we goin'?: I heard Lew, Fox I mean, ask and I sigh out as I start to type in the touch screen looking for the closest trucker's rest stop.

Finally I found it and grab the CB handle from the dashboard and spoke softly in to it. :Follow me everything is alright
I'll be the one to tuck you in at night
And if you
Want to leave I can guarantee
You won't find nobody else like me, Miss Bandit out.: I said in to the CB and got a smile from Sean as I point to the road that we need to turn on "Left." He nod his head and then turn there. I smile back to him and then went back in to my own little world watching the screen in my hand. "In about five minutes turn right then it'll be on your left." I told him with another smile and he nod his head.

We got there fast after that and I climb out stretching upward till I was tackled from behind. I turn around and on top of me was no other then Ray as she hug me tightly. "Air!" I screamed out and start to laugh as I felt someone lift her up. I open my eyes and saw Pete holding her and she's trying to squirm out of his grasp.

This is actually really cute. I want to laugh at them but I couldn't find the heart to. Both of them had blushes on their face. Before I could really get completely up I was tackle in to another hug just not one that was making it hard to breathe. This time red brown hair flew around me and I smile down to the younger girl. "I was scared and worry about you." She said as she bury her face in to my shoulder. I wrap my arms around her and rock her softly as I hum a song I was listening to on the radio. She calm down some and then look up to me.

"We are fine." I told her softly as I felt someone near. I glance around and saw Amber and Hank walk over to us. Hank helped Alina help as Amber grab my arms pulling me up and second I was before I could stay balance she threw her arms around me. I tried not to laugh and hugged her back.

We all then start to walk around and I smile as the kids were all helping or playing around. I wanted to go hug Gray Hound but knew that he would probably be asleep by now. He normally works three times as hard then the twins because of the fact he's doing his job and trying to keep the twins in line too. I sigh and walked along with my sisters, Victor, Hank, Pete, and Alina. Alina had her arms wrapped in mine and her head resting on my shoulder. Hank and Pete were keeping close eye on Victor who was walking a step behind me growling softly every time one of the males got to close to Alina and I. He's being protective of me? How come?

I decide not to stay on that subject in my mind though I'm curious. We walked along and then finally one of the kids ran up to us and tug at my shirt. I look down to her and she smile up to me and then blink a few times. "Miss Harper, I was wondering if you are okay?" She asked softly. The others stopped along with me.

"Yeah, just a little sleepy but I'm fine." I smile down to her then got down to her level.

"But at the mansion I saw you fall." the girl sounds worried lace in her voice.

"Yeah, I am not quiet sure what happen. I think the emotions of others was just pledging me till my body couldn't take it anymore." I answer her truthfully.

"Pledge?" She asked innocently.

"All the others emotions just came at to her till her bodies couldn't take it anymore. Like over filling a glass of water, it over flowed her and she just couldn't take it." Hank said as he was looking in my directions. I look up to him and smile in thanks.

"Oh." the little girl said in realization. She then wrapped her arms around my neck and hug me lightly. "Well then silly you should be sleeping." the little girl slightly scold me. I smile and hug her back with a giggle.

"No worries little one." I said letting go and standing up. I put my hand on her head. "I already slept just slightly tired from being bored." I told her in a whisper making her giggled.

She ran off and I smiled in the direction she went off in and saw Hank giving me an amused look. I stuck my tongue out at him and then pulled Amber away from his side wrapping my arms around her shoulders as she just bust out laughing that musical laugh of hers. Ray came over to us and start to pinch us and we apart big enough for her to get between us and that made us laugh more. Alina stood off to the side not knowing what to do. I poke Ray in the side and she look to where I motion my head to and she smiled as she pulled Alina in to our group up and we start to dance and be goofy.

"Down came a blackbird
Set on a fence
Talkin' in riddles
Makin' no sense
Cause she's gone
You're baby's gone
Down came a blackbird
Perched on pole
Took out a mirror
And said, "son, behold"
Cause she's gone
Your baby's gone." Amber softly sang and I smirk to her and then start to laugh as did the other two.

"Gone like a dollar spent on a drink
Head hangin' over the kitchen sink
Gone like the wind through a cabin door
Never gonna blow that way no more
Gone like the song of a mockingbird
Laughing at every little thing he heard
Gone like a dream in a puff of smoke
She ain't comin' back and it ain't no joke
She's gone
You're baby's gone." Ray finally said something and it was the next verse but instead of singing, which would have been slightly off-key, she was just saying it like it's no big deal.

"Down came a blackbird
Set by the fire
Said "the future's comin' at you like a freight train
And you're walkin' a wire"
Cause she's gone
You're baby's gone." I softly sang to them and I know I'm not a horrible singer but I'm not the best either. My voice cracks when I sing for long periods of time but I love to sing most of all when I'm singing with my sisters or playing with the CB.

"Gone like a dollar spent on a drink
Head hangin' over the kitchen sink
Gone like a dream in a puff of smoke
She ain't comin' back and it ain't no joke
She's gone
You're baby's gone." Amber sang grabbing Ray's hand and Ray spin her as I tried not to laugh at them.

"She says she doesn't want a man who hangs around the house
Who doesn't say a word unless he's shootin' off his mouth
There's got to be a better way to be a lovin' wife
If she stays here she'll end up her waitress for life." I sang out trying not to laugh as Ray trips slightly and Amber caught her being slightly dizzy made them both nearly fall but they didn't. Instead they just kept laughing.

"Down came a blackbird
Set on a fence
Talkin' in riddles
And makin' absolutely perfect sense
Cause she's gone
You're baby's gone." Alina finally sang though it was very softly and barely be heard. I smirk down to her and wrap my arms around her tightly as the other started to jump around happy that they got Alina to join in our crazy habits.

"Gone like a dollar spent on a drink
Head hangin' over the kitchen sink
Gone like the wind through a cabin door
Never gonna blow that way no more
Gone like the song of a mockingbird
Laughing at every little thing he heard
Gone like a dream in a puff of smoke
She ain't comin' back and it ain't no joke
She's gone
You're baby's gone!" Ray sang slightly off tune very loudly and I couldn't help myself but laugh out as they were being goofy again dancing around like idiots. They grab my and Alina's hands and pulled us in to it. I looked around and notice that the other adults were giving us amused glances, even Victor seems entertain by this. I laugh out more as kept dancing around idiots.

"Down came a blackbird." I sang out and then tried not to laugh as we all stop.

"Down came a blackbird." we all sang and start to laugh uncontrollably.

We all were just laughing as hard as we could. Some of the kids were giggling or was dancing along with us. I smile and then I felt something calm and warm around me. I stop and look around and saw I wasn't the only trying to figure out what this feeling is. The two Fetals were too. I then shrugged it off and went over to my sister and wrap all three in to a tight hug. Alina is un-officially-officially one of us!

We all went to where the others are then finally the feeling left and then someone asked something that threw us all off guard. "Who are the truckers to you three?" I look to the voice and smiled as I remember when Sir first introduce us to them.

"The truckers are our family. I know we are orphans but Gray-Hound adopted Ray and Amber and I were always part of their family." I answer softly.

Amber then smile brightly of her own memories surfacing I am sure. "They are Sir Chris's brothers and father. He used to be a trucker too before he got married. For a while after he got married he kept trucking and that's when Mrs Rhaelin wanted kids but Sir was always on the road. She started to be a Foster Parent, with his okay. Eventually when she came back they started to Orphanage. They bought out the old school building and fix it up to make it in to a bigger than their small three bedroom house Orphanage." Amber told them the story the Lady and Sir use to always tell us.

"Wait so they are your surrogate parent's family?" Alina asked surprised and I nod my head.

"Guess you can say that." Ray answer with a simple shrug. "Rany-pa always was like a father to all three of us. Well them more then me, he only adopted me when I was seventeen so I can legally live with Harper and Amber." She then got her own smile on her face. "Though he did kidnap me for a few weeks so he didn't have to travel by himself." She then start to laugh. "He's a nut job, no wonder those two are slightly insane!" She laugh out motioning to Amber and I who both stuck our tongues out at her and she did it right back.
