2. EMERGENCY ANNOUNCEMENT

It recently came to my attention that several sites have begun stealing stories from fanfiction for their own monetary gains.

This is, quite frankly, a DISGUSTING practice and I refuse to take this lying down. Therefore, I am in the process of moving from Fanfiction, along with all of my stories, to AO3. This will take some time, since I have to apply for an account, but once it is up and running all stories will be moved to that site along with any future updates to those stories. I am not just certain if I will also delete the stories here to prevent further theft or if I will keep them here in the hopes that the pirating sites will be taken down. But if this goes on for too long, I will complete the move to AO3 (archiveofourown) and delete this account. For those readers unaware of what sites I am referring to, PLEASE CHECK THE URL YOU ARE USING TO VIEW MY STORIES. If the url does not begin with www. fanfiction. net, IT IS A FRAUDULENT SITE AND IS USING MY STORIES WITHOUT PERMISSION.

I will be putting up another update to all my stories once my AO3 account is online and the stories have been moved over. Please, all readers, help report the sites through Google's report webpage (the full explanation for reporting is in the tumblr post mentioned above). We cannot allow people to continue to steal the hard work of others to make a quick buck. Worse yet, most of these are click-bait advertisement and malware sites, causing even more trouble.

I apologize for having to take these actions, but I have worked too hard on these stories to just shrug this off. And I am sure all of you will agree that no one, NO ONE, should ever have to stand someone else stealing their work. As soon as my AO3 is up and running, another chapter will be uploaded in all my stories to give the username to allow all of you to continue reading these stories. For now, PLEASE SPREAD THE WORD. Email fanfiction and report with Google so these sites are taken down; fanfiction is legally protected by copyright law, those who are taking our stories are criminals, nothing more.
