Hello again. Now, I bring good news and bad news, unfortunately.
Good news first: my AO3 (archiveofourown) account is up and running. Everything has been copied over to the site, and already I feel that while the site has some flaws, it is the perfect substitute until everything quiets down. I have even organized my fics into series and have added chapter titles and summaries, which was impossible on fanfiction. For those of you who wish to follow me there, my username is XenobladeWarrior1958, and my page is archiveofourown users/ XenobladeWarrior1958 (without the spaces). Overall, the website does enough to keep me happy and content despite me beginning on fanfiction.
And here's the bad news... while most of the sites have been taken down (or at the very least, cannot be accessed at the time this is going up, I checked (don't click on them unless you have malware protection, they're full of malware and spam pop-ups)), there are still one or two which have not been taken down. Thus, my stories are still being used without my permission for the profit of others. I thank all of you who reported the sites, but it appears that a couple are still holding on. Until I am 100% sure that the sites are gone, no updates to my stories will be placed on fanfiction, though I have decided against deleting the stories already on here due to the MASSIVE amount of work uploading the stories took on AO3, something I don't ever want to have to repeat.
In conclusion, I hope you guys will follow me to AO3, if not as users, than simply as readers. You guys are what make writing awesome, from feedback to the death threats, and personally, it breaks my heart to have to leave because of outside malicious sites.
