Oh and to clear up any confusion Dence's full name is Phoenix Prudence Trudeau-Halliwell. She is 11 and have known Jasmine Morris since she was 5. She got her powers when she was 7. Chapter Five:

Diagon Alley Vs Halliwell

I ran down the alley dodging yet another energyball. Training with Cole increase as did studying. Now instead of just learning by myself Piper is teaching Paige too. I am right now was training with Cole when a hunter found us along with a darklighter. Cole killed the darklighter then went after the demon who turn his attention to me.

Cole would disappear for a few days, then I will get a note on my bedroom door to meet him at a certain place to train. I know he wants as much information before reporting to the Aunts, and he refuse to stop my training. As I heard the demon scream I turn to see him go into flames. Cole looks past tired.

"Break?" I asked out of breath. He nod his head and motion me to come to him. Once I did he place his hand on my shoulder shimmering back to the manor. "I know you and Leo don't get along but lately he has been avoiding me. Do you know what's going on?" I ask him getting us water and then sat across from him.

Cole sigh sipping his water before answering. "He knows you need to but don't want you to go. If you are there we can't protect you." He answer me. I nod my head as Phoebe came in. "We need to talk. Dence will you spend the day with Jasmine?" He ask knowing if I am there at least no one outside of the family can find me.

I finish my drink then start to head off. "Be home late!" I call over my shoulder. I ran out of the door and went straight to my best friend's house.

Sitting on the counter in their kitchen we watch as her mother, Mama Sheila, ran around us. "Leo still hasn't taken you to Dragon Alley?" Jasmine ask from the table confuse as she written down the things they need to get that Sheila would call out and occasionally I would add something.

I sigh as I look to Sheila as she stopped looking at her cabnet. She looks on verge of tears. "Diagon Alley wasn't it?" She asked softly.

"Yeah, Diagon Alley." I said looking at my hands.

Sheila zone in on me and place her hands on her hips. She has the mother air about her. When you are in her zone you can't fight her, trust me I tried. "Spill." Was all she said as she fix her bright blue shirt that has Micky Mouse on it and then dust off the no dust on her blue jeans.

I sigh leaning back, my red shirt is just a plain red tee-shirt with a black heart and white headphones over the back heart. I know classic teenager shirt? Stands for love of music. My bluejeans are just an old pair I threw on before training and now have a few new rips from it. No shoes. "I am thinking he is on purposely avoiding me and I don't know what to do." I told her with a groan.

She gave me the understanding look. "If you are there he can't keep an eye on you and protect you." She said walking over to me. She capture my face in her hands and held my face to look at her. "I don't want you to go but know you must. With you there hopefully you will be safer than here."

Her bottom lip start to quiver as she pull me into a tight hug. "You will always be that little five year old that I met under the oak tree." She cried as she hugged me tightly.

I hug my second mother as tightly as she hugged me. She then pulled away gathering herself before smiling warmly to me. "Well I am going to clean up then we will head to the store." She said walking away. As she was we heard a meow and I turn around to see a big black cat with hazel yellow eyes watching me. "Oh meet our new family pet, Smokey, she is pregnant so be careful with her." Sheila said as she walked off.

I lean over softly petting the cat as she purr into my hand. "So cute." Jasmine said making me turn to face her as a bright flash came.

I blink my eyes clear of the attacking dots before playfully glare at my best friend. "Couldn't give a girl a warning?" I growl jumping off the counter. She just smile as I went for the camera. She ran into the connecting room as I chased her. Her slipon shoes slid across the floor as I chased after her. Her mom came back and lean against the door laughing at us. "Give me the camera." I hiss at her lunging and she simply jumped over the couch dodging me.

"No! My precious!" She squeel as I ran around the couch trying to catch her.

Her mom just bust out laughing at us making us turn to her. "You two are complete dorks." She said when she got her laughing under control. "Now Gollum, you and Frodo should put on real shoes." She said to her daughter who has an ear to ear grin.

Both Jazzy and I look at each other then called after the woman walking away. "We prefer the term SciFi Geek!"

"Lord of The Rings isn't SciFi." She said off hand over her shoulder.

Both of us bust out laughing running after the older woman. They got on our shoes then left with her to go get what's on the list. As we ran around to store to store Jazzy and I never left each others sides, basically joint at the hips.

We want to spend as much time as we can together. We have never been so far apart from each other before. Since we first met we automatically click like two pieces of a puzzle. Jasmine Morris and Phoenix Halliwell were meant to be the best of friends, more like siblings.

Jasmine lean to me and I rest my head on her shoulder as we watch Star Wars. We are complete geeks and know it but hey at least we are honest about it. "Prue?" Sheila's voice came through as she walked into the room. I look up to her as Obi One start to talk. "It's raining hard so I am going to call your aunts. You will sleep here tonight. You can borrow some of Jasmine's clothes." She inform me.

I nod my head then went back to the movie. As we watch I heard Sheila on the phone. "I'm going to get us more drinks." I whisper to her and got up going to the kitchen. Once there I gave Sheila a questionable look. She frown and spoke softly where I couldn't hear her turning around. I got our drinks and went back to the living room.

Sheila came back into the room and frown slightly. "Leo picked up. Your aunts are away."

I look up to her confuse. "Where are they?" I slightly demand.

She hesitate slightly as she try to think of something to tell me. I stood up ready to run out the door. She stopped me grabbing my wrist. "Limbo. They went to Limbo to save a Zin Master. They will be back though, Leo assure me." She said as she pull me back.

I groan wanting to go help but know even if I could they wouldn't let me. Jazzy gave me a sympathetic look as I flop back on the couch beside her. Jazzy lean to me and I took the hint resting on her. We fell asleep during our "Geek Marathon" as Darryl and Sheila called it. We laughed cause we finally got them to stop calling us dorks!

The sunlight hit my eyes and I groan blocking it. "Five more minutes." Someone grumble on my belly. I laugh making the person hit my side. With that I rolled making my offender fall to the ground. I smirk down to the darker skin girl who is sending me a look, I am happy looks can't kill. She would have a few times by now.

"You two finish?" a masculine voice asked making me turn to my uncle. He smile to me weakly but looks guilty. "Picnic with family then Diagon Alley." He informed me.

I then smirk to Jasmine with an idea. "Can Jasmine come?" I ask bouncing up. She perk up some now. He frown and I had to come up with something fast now. "You know we are same size and height plus more hands so it'll take shorter time." I cover my real reasons for fake ones that will reason with him. He sigh knowing I will annoy him till he say yes.

I look to my best friend who dark brown eyes are huge as disks. This make me smile more. We jumped up and got ready as fast as we can. After I got on my boots and look to Jazzy she has on a black elbow length sleeves and classic dark jeans. Her shirt is loose but not trampy. I look down to my dark tyed-dyed shirt and smiled as I tighten up my army boot strings. My black jeans are nice but do have nicks in them from wear and tear it gets with fighting evil.

She smile to me as we look to each other. Leo look to someone else who walked in, on que. I turn to the tall dark skin man with warm dark eyes that turn cold when at work or thinking of it. Only other acception to it is when he is thinking and talking about magic.

We went to the pinic. Darryl took us, Jasmine and I, for icecream while he was on break and Paige was taking the herb test with Piper. When we got back Darryl had to go back to work, Phoebe have already left for France Picnic with Cole. "I got all of them right!" Paige told me. I laugh giving her a highfive.

We ate and enjoy the peace while it last. As we got back to the manor Darryl was already there waiting for us. I went up opening the door and ran inside. All we have to do is wait for Phoebe and Cole then we are leaving.

About four thirty they finally show up and I start to bounce as did Jazzy. Darryl groan hating orbing or shimmering. "Everyone into your groups." Piper said sternly. I bounce over to Cole where Phoebe is and Darryl went to Paige while Piper and Jazzy were beside Leo. Leo is going to come back for Paige and Darryl.

I lean against Cole as we took a step and shimmer into a dark alleyway between two buildings. A moment later white-blue lights appear in balls and then three . The dark skin girl was first to let go and bounce over to me.

A moment and Leo orb away again and then orb back with two people. The dark skin male in a suit start to pat himself down. "I am whole? Nothing on the outside or where it shouldn't be?" He asked panic as he pat himself down.

I look to the amused looking Jazzy who was trying to hold back her laughter. We shook our heads at her freaking out father. Paige and Phoebe walked out first with Cole right behind them. I had to run to keep up with them and then wrap my arms around Phoebe's as we walked. Paige gave us an envy type of look and I moved so my other arm linked with her which slightly surprise her.

"Hey Leo, just a random question here." Paige said as she gave me a slight smile with a wink. "How are we going pay for the stuff once we find everything she will need?" She ask as she gave the man in question a look.

"We are going to convert our money over and Dence, do you have the list?" He asked me.

Phoebe cherp up this time. "I do." She took out the paper and hand it to me.

Piper spoke this time. "After we get the money we will spilt into three groups: Paige and Jasmine with me, Darryl and Leo, and Finally Phoebe and Cole with Dence. We will each have our own things to get, I've already made us mini lists with what to get." She said taking out three papers and Phoebe pout slightly. I knew Piper was going to do this.

She hand me a paper and I looked down at it. We were going to get:

"Wait I really going to need a wand? I thought coven witches don't need wands." I said confuse like.

Piper frown and motion to Leo. "You will because you will be studying their magic." Leo explain. I now know who added wand to the list.

I look to it again and grin. "Can I get an animal?" I ask.

Piper shook her head making me pout at her. "No."

I look over Jazzy's shoulder when Piper handed her the second paper.

UNIFORM

First-year students will require:

1. Three sets of plain work robes (black)

2. One plain pointed hat (black) for day wear

3. One pair of protective gloves (dragon hide or similar)

4. One winter cloak (black, silver fastenings)

Please note that all pupils' clothes should carry name tags

With final one I knew the "fathers" were going to get books. Just incase I glance at the one Leo is holding and read what they was going to get.

I roll my eyes slightly and look around the busy streets. I saw people everywhere as we walked down the cobblestone pavement. It looks like something from the Disney movies that Jasmine and I always love watching. "Wow." I heard my best friend gasp as I turn to her. She was looking around amaze as I am over everything.

We look to each other and grin as we turn to Phoebe and Darryl. They both groan knowing what is crossing our minds. "We are not singing Disney songs!" Phoebe groan and Cole laugh at us! Well in his defends we had done this on many occasions the six and half years we have known each other, a few times when Cole was around.

We walked down the busy beautiful streets looking at the different things in amazement. Some of the stuff that looks so common in our world wasn't like how we have seen it. In the air floated words like signs would and there was pictures that moved but wasn't a television or computer.

Jazzy stop hitting my shoulder hard making me jump and glared at her. She has her mouth slightly parted and looking at something in complete awe. I look to the direction she is and I gasp. It's a white building that reminds me of fresh snow, that I've seen on television, and it towers over the other buildings.

Walking up to it, following Leo, we saw a little green man in a strange uniform. He is about the size of a little kid, maybe five year old with long pointy ears and nose that sticks out like a cartoon character. Jasmine squeak jumping behind Cole, who looks amuse but not laughing.

I look at him again trying not to stare. He is wearing uniform of scarlet and gold. He looks cleaver and has a pointed beard along with long fingers, reminds me of Fury nails. With that thought I shiver running between Piper and Leo, letting go of Phoebe and Paige at it. I don't want to be rude but he creeps me out.

Once in the first set of doors, tall brawns, we saw another one. Paige look at it and read out loud. "Enter, stranger, but take heed

Of what awaits the sin of greed,

For those who take, but do not earn,

Must pay most dearly in their turn.

So if you seek beneath our floors

A treasure that was never yours,

Thief, you have been warned, beware

Of finding more than treasure there."

The pretty silver doors engravings made us all look at each other. "I do not want to know." Darryl finally broke our silence and walked in with Leo. I jump behind Cole with Jazzy once inside. Those green men, that reminds me of Goblins from stories, are everywhere.

Two of them bow to us and the others are either behind a tall counter on stools working or running about. Cole raise an eyebrow to me. "Demons, no problem. Fairies and Grimlins, no problem. Dragons are easy." I knew where he was going. "You are scared of Goblins? " I hit him after rolling my eyes.

Leo gave us a look and then finally try to comfort us. "This is just like a normal bank just ran by Goblins instead of the more human like creatures. They won't hurt you." He assure us. We let go of Cole and went to be by Paige as Piper, Leo, and Cole went up to the counter. I saw Cole place money down on the counter as did Piper and by looks of it it was a good bit, probably over a hundred.

I look over to Jasmine as she tug my shirt sleeve. I saw her eyes zero in on one boy. I look him over with interest now. He is slightly taller than us with messy black hair. He has big round glasses and tape between the lenses. I look to Jasmine again as she look to me. "Who are you to drooling over?" We both jump at the voice that was beside our ears and look to Paige as she played with a sucker in her mouth.

We both laugh and I push her back some, jumping again when we heard a man's voice behind us. "What are you three up to?" Glaring at Cole as he smirk an evil victorious smirk at us. He was trying to startle us! It worked too. "Dence, stop pouting. It doesn't look right." He stated walking away.

I had to run to keep up with him as we went back outside. "Okay we all have same amount of money. No spending any of it for extra stuff till finish getting all the supplies." Piper laid the law.

JASMINE MORRIS POV

I jump and skip slightly ahead of Piper and Paige who was studying with Piper's help on potions. I smile as I found the shop we were looking for. "Piper!" I call back to the lighter skin woman with motherly traits. I don't think she even knows how good of a mother she would be.

Madam Malkin's Robes for All Occasions read on the door and the top of the small shop. Piper look up and smile warmly to me. "Good job, Jasmine." She praise me as I start to go in.

A small woman that reminds me of a small pear in a gray-blue robe with tent of red mix in. She is all smiles and cherpy too. Piper and Paige both slightly wince hearing her voice. "Hogwarts, dearie?" She asked and before I could say anything she push me down the hall to the back. I can still see my best friend's aunts as I was finally stop being push. "Stand here." She said.

I got onto the stool. She slip a long robe over my head, and begun to pin it to right length. As she start to fix the robe she stop when door open again. "Hold on, my dear." She said making me wince this time. A moment pass as a boy is usher to the back with me. She put a robe over his head and wave a wand in my direction. I then notice that the robe went to finishing itself as she worked on the boy.

I risk a glance at him. He is taller than me with pale skin, paler than Dence's skin, and blond hair thats so bright. He has gray stormy eyes and seems annoyed. "Hello." He said to me. I gave him a warm smile. "Hogwarts, too?" He asked.

"Uh, yeah." I am not lying. Dence will be going to Hogwarts.

He look to me confuse. "Strange accent you have. Where you from?" He ask stiffly.

I roll my eyes hoping I am nearly done here. "America, moved here earlier this year." I lied. Something about this guy doesn't sit right with me.

"Where your parents?" He ask as he saw Piper and down the hall at me.

I put on a sad face. "I don't know. I was adopted. Those are my adopted aunts." I half lied.

He look down slightly. "Oh, sorry." Lies. That was painfully obviously a lie. I want him to stop talking. "Do you know your Surname?" He ask and I want to kick him.

I close my eyes counting backwards from twenty. "There you go, dearie." The woman spoke to me. "We will have the rest order just need your name." She spoke warmly.

"Prudence Trudeau." I said as I jumped down now free of the robe.

The woman wave her wand and a pen wrote it on a page. She then spoke to Piper leaving the boy. I ran up to Paige who raise an eye brow at me. Another boy came in and I realize its the boy from the bank. The big man that was with him left. As we walked out I heard the blond talking to the boy from bank. 'Good luck.' I thought to him as I ran after Piper and Paige to the book store, where we will help Dad and Leo.

PHOENIX PRUDENCE POV

"We are looking for wand cauldron pewter, standard size 2 set." I said as I glance up from the paper to the cauldrons in front of me. I am utterly confuse and look over my shoulder to Phoebe.

She shrugged as she looked the cauldrons over herself. "You need help?" Cole asked amuse at us.

Phoebe hit him on the arm as I hit him on the other. "We have never done this before." Phoebe groan trying to figure this thing out.

The man who owns the place took pity on us. "It's the one to the right." He said with humor in his voice. I look to his bald head and then his round green like eyes that have a dab of brown in them to seem like tented red.

I smirk to him picking it up and then look to the list again. "What about a glass or crystal phials?" He motions to the list. I hand it to him feeling my face heat up.

He turn around opening a cabnet and pick up something glass then place it down. He then turn around and open another cabnet and pull out a brass scales placing it down too. I made a huh sound and he smile to me still amused. "That is all I have, that is on your list." He told me. Phoebe thanked him and paid him as Cole carried everything. "Telescope would be best to get from the shop right there." He pointed at the one across the street. "The wand will be Ollivander's." He said with amusement in his voice.

"Thank you, again." Phoebe said as Cole lead us across. Once there we found the telescope after what felt like forever of digging. And was walking down the road. A boy with brown hair and deep brown eyes caught my eye though. He is off to the side talking to another boy with dark skin and a mischief air about him.

His brown eyes look up and he smile to me. I smile back feeling butterflies in my stomach. I push it off when Cole grab hold of my sleeve getting my attention. "Did you not hear us?" He ask and I shook my head. He roll his eyes. "Phoebe asked someone Ollivander's is just up ahead." He inform me.

We walked till we found it. Its a shop looks old and seen better days. The peeling gold letters over the door read Ollivanders: Makers of Fine Wands since 382 B.C. I look to my aunt who was looking over it as my shoulder. Cole was just standing there and I think he rolled his eyes at us.

One wand is in the viewing area. It is resting on a faded purple pillow with dust everywhere and window is old and dusty itself. When I open the door a bell rang somewhere deep in the shop. Its a tiny place which is empty besides the shelves on shelves of thin boxes like a library. By the door is a chair and other then that everything else is behind the counter.
