Last Chapter:
Dumbledore turned to face him once more. "And the second condition?"
Hearing those words, Mrs. Weasley stopped her tirade and everyone looked at d'Eon.
"Well, due to both Ron and Hermione being here, and since they are friends of Harry Potter," here d'Eon paused as he inwardly grinned to himself, while outside a small smirk showed on his lips.
"The second condition is that Harry Potter must be here in order for me to tell my tale."
Chapter 6: But The Way of The Ungodly Shall Perish
d'Eon couldn't really say that the next two days were eventful. During those two days after his declaration, he had had to dodge the red harpy's attempts at making him clean Sirius' home without magic, which baffled d'Eon to no end. Didn't the Black residence had wards that prevented the Ministry from detecting underage magic? When d'Eon asked Sirius that very same question, his response was that yes, Grimmauld Place did in fact have wards that prevented underage magic from leaking to the Ministry's detection.
To that response, he avoided Mrs. Weasley like the plague, while dropping hints to the twins and Hermione. The twins were easy to take the hint as he had left simple muggle items and little notes on what they could be used for. Hermione wasn't so easy to convince until he found her weakness. She LOVED books. Finding a book with empty pages and simply copying down information word-for-word from one of his rare-to-find books but one that didn't hold his family secrets, he left the book on Hermione's bed with a note to not tell Mrs. Weasley about the No Magic loophole. It was quite hilarious to see the harpy's face whenever she left the room and came back to see it spotless, and all because the twins and Hermione used magic to clean!
A knock on his door brought him out of his thoughts. d'Eon was currently in a room that was the first to be cleaned magically. The walls were a dark blue wallpaper and the floor was dark wood in color. His bed was a queen-sized four-poster bed made out of dark wood that matched the room, with blankets and bed sheets ranging from dark blue to black.
As d'Eon made his way to the door, he couldn't help but feel that something was about to happen. He internally voiced his concerns to Lia.
Even if something were to happen, Lia started, just know that I will always be there to support you.
He gave a short nod of acknowledgement before he opened the door. Waiting on the other side was Sirius. He certainly looked better than he did when d'Eon first met him. His dark hair was untangled and cut just past his shoulders, courtesy of d'Eon, and looked very clean after a VERY thorough washing, to Sirius' chagrin and to Remus' amusement. That was, until d'Eon suggested that Remus should get cleaned up bit as well. Being shouted at by Mrs. Weasley was so worth sneaking out of the house to go shopping for clothes with Remus. d'Eon could certainly see that Tonks was enjoying Remus' new wardrobe.
Looking at the expression on Sirius' face, d'Eon deduced one thing:
"Dumbledore's called in a meeting?"
Seeing Sirius' nose crinkle a bit, d'Eon sighed. The only reason, well several reasons actually, why Sirius hated the Order meetings was because 1. Unfamiliar people would be in his home, no matter how much he hated Grimmauld Place, and 2. Professor Severus Snape would be at the meeting.
Giving out one more sigh, d'Eon stepped out of his room and closed the door, and for good measure, he warded the room to only his signature; d'Eon seriously doubted that even Dumbledore could mimic his signature, as doing so was considered a dark art in Britain.
Walking down the stairs with Sirius, d'Eon couldn't help but breach the subject about Snape.
"You know," he started, bringing Sirius' attention to him. "I know that there is some animosity between you and Snape because of James' interest in Lily, but maybe you should apologize for your actions while you were in school? I mean, wasn't it kind of your fault that Prof. Snape almost got bit by Remus?"
Seeing the anger leave Sirius' eyes only to be replaced with...sadness?... "You weren't in control of your actions, were you?"
All that the could do was nod. "No, I wasn't. Some of the older Slytherins, led by Bellatrix for some sick reason, decided to torment me just because they couldn't stand the fact that I was in Gryffindor. Crazy Bella Imperio'd me to tell Snape about going to where Remus was. I was only able to tell James about the trap before I blacked out from some of the injuries that I had sustained."
Sirius suddenly got a grin on his face. "Being a member of the Black family, I just couldn't let my attackers get away with it."
Seeing a curious look on d'Eon's face, and d'Eon could feel Lia's curiosity peak, Sirius continued. "There's a good reason why some Pureblood families are having trouble conceiving, and why Bella hasn't had any children yet. It wasn't just the inbreeding that did them in!"
d'Eon choked on his laughter. Sirius Black cast impotency curses on them?! He shook his head in mirth. Only a Black could find a curse that most likely in his family library and put it to use!
Putting a hand to Sirius' shoulder in a form of comfort, d'Eon suddenly stopped in mid-stride. When Sirius turned his head to look at the teen, he noticed that d'Eon's normally blue-green eyes had taken a silvery sheen. His eyes widened at he implication that he was seeing. d'Eon was having a vision!
As quick as he could, he lifted d'Eon into his arms and opened the door to the first unoccupied room that he could find. Upon entering the room, he kicked the door closed and took notice of the couch in the room. As gently as he could, he placed the young blonde Lord on the couch in a sitting position and sat beside him. He knew the dangers and interrupting a Seer when they were having a vision. All he could do now was wait.

d'Eon shivered as he noticed that wherever he was, it was unusually chilly. All he could tell that he was in a muggle neighborhood. Taking notice of his surroundings, he noticed a street sign that had 'Magnolia Way' written on it. As it grew colder, d'Eon realized the reason to why it was so chilly: Dementors. Dementors were in a muggle neighborhood.
Hearing a shrill screech, he took action. He ran towards the noise, noticing that it was getting colder as he neared a small alley. He turned the corner and his heart almost stopped. Three dementors were surrounding a large teen and Harry Potter, the boy with the unearthly green eyes.
As d'Eon took a step forward, fog closed in, and with a sore heart, he realized that the vision was coming to an end...

With a lurch, d'Eon snapped out of his vision, his hand going to his chest, clenching his button-down top above his heart. He suddenly stood up, startling Sirius out of his thoughts.
"What happened?" Sirius asked. "What did you see?"
"No time for that!" d'Eon quietly snapped at the older wizard.
"I have to go," d'Eon continued as he quickly walked towards the door.
"Where are you going?" Sirius asked him as he opened the door and stepped out of the room.
All d'Eon could do was grimly smile. "Don't worry. I'll be back as soon as I can."
That was all d'Eon said to Sirius Black as he shut the door and took off like an arrow. Footsteps quick but silent, he shot down the stairs and made his way out the front door. Remembering the street name in his vision, he concentrated on the image and with a pull on his magic, he disappeared from the doorstep of 12 Grimmauld Place.
AN: I was originally going to end here, but since the chapter wouldn't have matched with the chapter's title, I decided to soldier on and keep writing. Little by little, this Great Wall of a writer's block WILL go down!
With a silent crack, d'Eon appeared under the street sign that said Magnolia Way. Letting his senses take in the area, he was able to feel where the dementors were going, and with silent footsteps, he was on his way.
'Lia, would you like to do the honors?'
It would be my pleasure.
~Harry's POV~
Try as he could, Harry watched in horror as the dementor's non-existant face lowered upon his. Seeing darkness start to cloud his vision, he closed his eyes in resignation, trying desperately to conjure up a happy memory in his mind despite hearing the screams of his mother in her last moments.
"Blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly,
Standeth in the way of sinners, nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful."
The bell-like voice of a young woman echoed in the alleyway. Harry was dropped unceremoniously to the ground, and as he looked, just beyond the unconscious form of his cousin, there stood a young woman.
She had long dark blonde hair in a high ponytail, leaving only strands of hair on either side of her face loose with bangs that ended just above her thin eyebrows. She was dressed in a white button-down top, a white pair of jeans and what looked like white sneakers. Her lips would have looked quite kissable - did Harry really just think that? - if they weren't situated into a pout and her blue-green eyes were hard and cold as she glared at the dementors.
Seeing the other two dementors starting to fly towards her, Harry was about to shout a warning to her when she lifted her sword (holy fuck! Is that a real sword?!) as her lips parted once more.
"The ungodly are not so: but are like the chaff which the wind driveth away. Therefore the ungodly shall not stand in the judgment, nor sinners in the congregation of the righteous."
The dementors suddenly froze, Harry realized, as the three cloaked figures were not moving any closer to the woman...and were they quivering with...fear?
"For the Lord knoweth the way of the righteous: but the way of the ungodly shall perish."
At the last line, the woman lifted her sword and pointed it at the dementors. Harry noticed that the sword had glowing words on the blade that looked like they were drawn with blood. The words glowed brighter as the woman slashed downwards, left to right, and one by one, the dementors screeched as they were bisected from their shoulders to their waists as if done so by an invisible blade. But Harry knew better than that. Somehow, this woman who appeared just a bit older than him, had channeled her magic through her sword and created the "invisible blade" that had destroyed the dementors that would said to be just about invincible.
As Harry watched pieces of the their cloaks float to the ground, he looked up to meet the blue-green eyes of the young woman who saved him.
"W-Who are you?"
Author's Note: Hallelujah! I managed to finish this chapter while dealing with the insane asylum known as SCHOOL! I'm actually impressed that I managed to get this chapter done while just about hacking up a lung or two every five minutes of typing due to Bronchitis. I know that the whole dementor encounter seems a bit rushed, but I am happy with this chapter, and I have to study for finals that are next week...Rate and Review!
