Monster Smash!
I dance around singing my last song of the night. Halloween Night always interesting. I finish and left. I had to fix my Velma costume then kissed Snake Eyes through his mask. He's in his normal outfit just he let Beth put a white tie on him. No one dare to laugh at him.
"Can we go trick-or-treating now?" Samtha asked bouncing over to us. "Martha, can we?" She asked her twin who thinks they are to old for this.
"I'm down if J.T. and Sarah is." Martha shrugged her shoulders not caring like. Her short black hair was in a weird ties and she had fake gold snakes on her arms and face-pant to make her look Egyptian. She's suppose to be Queen Cleopatra.
"Girls, go ahead get the other three and we will head out." Sarah said walking out in her Daphne outfit. I smiled to her silently thanking her for the idea as the whole band to dress up as the Scooby Gang. Beth is Scrappy Doo and we got Mary-Beth's guard to be Scooby. He refuse to wear the hat or the tail but he has a brown shirt with black mark on it's back. He's also wearing black pants.
My hippy bass guitar player is as Shaggy. Jake, the guitar player, is Fred. Sarah said she'll be Daphne if she can be mean to 'Fred' all night long. That's normal. I got stuck being Velma because of the fact I rather be the smart girl then the pretty girl. Our lazy drummer is the 'Mystery Machine' ha. He just wanted an excuse to wear his green mystery machine shirt if you ask me.
I stretch and smiled to Snake Eyes. "Screw Shaggy and Velma. Apparently Hasbro hasn't gotten the message that Velma ends up with the Neighborhood friendly Ninja, with a white tie." Jake said fixing his ascot that so does not work on him. I try to hold back the laugh as Snake wrap his arm around me pulling me close to him.
We all left and start to walk. Mary-Beth and Beth ahead of us as Sarah and I kept sticking tongues out at each other. We made a bet, whatever kid between the Beths get the most candy the one that wasn't betting on that Beth has to cook for the kids for the next few weeks. I bet on my Beth she did on the Mobster's daughter.
Mary-Beth is in a fairy princess costume and is adorable with her long black hair that's braided. She's Hispanic origins but not many people can tell that unless they know her mother. She looks like her father who's Irish, minus the hair. Instead of red hair like her father she has black like her mother's.
We got up to the road and walked with the kids down the street then wait by the street as they went up as a group to the houses. Snake Eyes kept an arm around me and at one point one of the guys seems slightly off. I saw Mary's bodyguard start to go up but I shook my head. Snake Eyes and I went over to the kids and I smiled up to the man sweetly.
"Well hello, Mister." A female's voice said. I turn to see a girl in a sexy nurse's costume come over to us with some young kids. She puts her hand on Snake Eye's chest. He stiffen up. "Ties make a man of any kind sexy. Why don't you lose the mask and we can go play doctor somewhere?"
I tap my kids on the shoulders and motion to the others. "Come on." Mary-Beth took the hint fast. She grab Beth's hand and they walked ahead with the two older twins following them.
"Hun, lets go ourselves." I said kissing Snake Eyes cheek. The woman gave me a dirty look.
"Well, I was talking to him slut. What are you suppose to be anyway?" She scuff at me.
"I'm Velma from Scooby-Doo and see that adorable girl in the Scrappy-Doo costume? That's our daughter." I said and she glared daggers at me. Before I could walk fully past her with Snake Eyes I saw someone was about to slap me. As I turn to react I notice it stopped in midair. Snake Eyes caught her arm and squeeze it till she yelp in pain. "Come on. Lets go before one of us does something we will regret later." I told him and we start to walk off.
He let go of her and wrap his arms around me. I smiled leaning back on him as Beth, my Beth, ran over to me. Mary looked over to us and start to bounce around. She's about eight and very hyper. Mary and Beth always been close and that is partly my fault. Not fully because Mama Mo's real daughter is dating Mary's older brother.
"JT, why was that woman touching Mr Snake Eyes?" She asked sweetly.
"Don't worry about it Mary." I told her with a small smile. "What was wrong before we came up there?" I had to ask.
"The man was trying to talk us inside." Martha answer in disgust. Mary's bodyguard started to head to the door but I stopped him and motion for us all to walk forward. It's not worth it. I grabbed Snake Eyes's hand and softly squeezed it. He entwine our fingers as we walked and I lean-to him smiling.
"So cute." I heard Beth said after I put her down. She was now by Mary who both was looking to us like we walked right off of a romantic movie or something. I roll my eyes as Sarah laugh at us.
"I think we are done." Mary said yawning and running over to her Bodyguard who picked her up. Snake Eyes walked up behind Beth and picked her up before she fell.
"I ain't doing this with out adults cause of creeps!" Martha squeal and grab my arm. Samtha got on the other side and pout up at me.
"I'm going where ever Beth and Mary goes." I stated simply. Both twins whine but accepted their defeat.
We started to walk back but then stopped. "Wait." Martha then smiled. "Can we go to the hide out?" She asked sweetly. A little to sweetly.
"How come?" I asked and then Samtha smiled at me from other side. Snake Eyes was interest and I could tell.
"You did promise that you would tell us in the creepiest place you know of that's safe for us about the story." Samtha said and though I admit I do know what they are talking about I played stupid.
"What story?" I asked like I'm clueless.
"You know what story!" They both said in union. I heard the Beths laugh and I wink to them. Snake Eyes holding the tired Beth and Mary with her Bodyguard.
"Nana, gonna tell story about the house." Beth yawn and looked to the twins who were nodding their head.
"I have to take her home." The bodyguard motion to Mary. I nod my head walking over to the eight year old. "How full is your bag anyway?" I wonder.
"Very." She motion to the bag that the bodyguard had in his other hand. I glance to the one that was in my hand and back to Mary's.
"They got about the same!" Jake laugh as he saw what I was trying to do.
"But who got more?" Sarah asked looking and then groan. "Turns?" She asked looking at me. I nod my head and she groan walking off hitting Jake hard in the arm while she walk past him. I laugh at that. Mary-Beth and her bodyguard got in to a black car that pulled up a moment after he sent out a text message
One of the groups of people that hangs out at the club I work at is a gang. They had an old hang out, an abandon law firm building. They also hang out a lot at the house too. I lead the way to it. It was their spot till a few years back.
We walked down the street turning in one area we got to an old building. It was an actual building not just house or something. It is five stories and some areas look questionable to step on. Third floor is where everyone hanged out on so that's where we went. Up there the old couch and stuff still there.
I flop down in one of the chairs and pulled Snake Eyes to me in it. He sat down on the arm holding me close. I shiver slightly and I looked up at him. He got down wrapping his arms tightly around me.
Everyone sat around us and I start the story after Yu Lee, Lacy, and the other Joes that was at the club showed up. Scarlett was glaring at me but I ignored her. I don't know her problem is with me. I wish I knew so I could just stop this stupid thing between us.
"The twins pointed out that I promise them the story about the house. Where we live at the foster home anyway. We are here because they don't like being around the house during Halloween." I said smiling to them. "No one does." I stated simply.
"How come?" Breaker asked pushing his glasses up.
"Well many reasons." I shrug and curl closer to Snake Eyes. "Could be because Mama Mo hates Halloween and throws rocks and wooden spoons at anyone who dare to get near the house. Could be because of the witch that died in the house. Or even the monster that the witch created in that house." I stated and the twins stiffen up. Snake Eyes tilt his head to me in a questionably way. I try to hold back my laugh but it left my lips anyway.
"Witches and monsters are not real." Scarlett scuff at us and I roll my eyes turning to be able to lean against Snake Eyes comfortably. Beth crawl over to us and got in to the chair with us curling up beside me in Snake Eyes lap. He had one hand on her side holding her on and the other wrapped around me keeping me warm.
"Says you." I stated trying to not ruin the kids' Halloween. "Long before us, before even Antonio and Marcus was even put in to the house-" The twins cut me off.
"What about Liz and Nico?" They asked in union.
"Oh way before they were even thought of." They both shiver. Liz and Nico left not long before I graduated. They were two of the oldest but the oldest of us are Antonio and Marcus. "There was a girl living in the house. It was around the time that Mama Mo was working as an Army Weapon Specialist." They sat up and listen closely. "There was a girl there, she was about fourteen maybe fifteen. Sifu let her run the house. She was the oldest and most capable to do so. One night he has business at China Town and left the house in her care. She snuck out of the house and start to get things. These things she was getting though I do not know what they were I do know what they were for." The girls squeal when Duke got behind them with Ripcord and poke their sides. They jump and the boys laugh getting down and they glare at them. Ripcord went back to Scarlett wrapping his arms around her but she pushed him off of her.
"She was creating something in the garage which at the time was a game room to the house. She had a small lab in the back of it where it's board off." I stated and they curl closer together looking up at me with wide eyes. They all heard this story many times and it was pass down long before me. This story has always been around. "When no one was home one day she finally got the final ingredients for what she needed to make. She mixed it up and tried her back to life potion but it didn't work. She was so mad she flip the table and everything that was on it. She storm out of her lab and back in to the house. She had cut her foot on a piece of glass that broke when she flip the table. She was cleaning it up when she notice that the cut that should be there was nothing but a thin line. She put on a pair of boots and went out to see what's going on. She then notice that the room look more trashed then what she had made. She looked around until she saw it." I then gasp and they both jumped looking around. Beth giggle in her sleepiness state of mind. I pat her head and smiled as she looked up to me so tired.
"The monster what about the monster!?" The twins yelled asking about it.
"It looked like something from an old horror movie. It's skin was gray scales and looked so slimy and gross. As it was told by the ones before you, even before me, this monster took away his witchy creator and left after Sifu saw what the girl made. It was gone and everyone believes when it's dark and kids are out in costumes like how it is tonight that the monster and the witch comes back again, to see their old home." I told them and they all squeak and jump when the door open. I looked up to the very serious faced Mama Mo.
"We are late! I am tired, kids are past their curfew. Lets go!" She yelled at us.
"Aw, but Mama Mo!" We all, all the Foster Kids past and present, whine.
"No Mama Mo me! Move it!" She pointed to the door with a wooden spoon I didn't know she brought with her. I kiss Snake Eyes as he stood up holding Beth close. I saw her shiver and looked around. I then remember that I wore an undershirt but if I take it off someone would see my scars besides the ones that knows about them. I then sigh in relief when I saw Jake hand me his jacket.
"She's cold you don't have anything to give her." He stated with a shrug walking off. Damn Silver Dragon can be nice sometimes?
As we walked out of the building I saw someone in a gray old monster's movie outfit, it looks good, really good, almost real. Beside him was a girl in old eighties clothes but she is older then me but not by much. They waved to me and I waved back. Snake Eyes tap on my shoulder, I turn to face him and he sign asking me who I was waving to. I pointed to the direction I saw the two and notice no one was there. This didn't scare me but it made me worried so I grabbed Snake Eyes hand and we walked to my bike. Mama Mo took Beth and put her in the backseat of her mini van. With that we were off.
JD: Oh, creepy. Sorry I'm trying not to make it scary just freaky xD It's hard to scare me but hopefully I didn't scare any of you, probably not. Hope you enjoyed it and this is not part of my story! Just in the story! I don't know how to say that with out being confusing xD Know what? Just review!
