Hi, it has been a year since the last chapter I updated in 2014. I guess some of my readers had no longer interest on reading this, but I really want to finish what I started. It's just I'm not in the mood for writing lately. I'll try to find the motivation to continue my story. Maybe my words and sentences have changed a lot (so long I haven't really written something particularly), but I hope you still enjoy my storyline. Thank you! :)

Chapter 06:

Classes ended earlier than usual. Therefore, I would have some time to find Riven. However, I didn't know what to say to Riven. We barely knew each other. How could I believe he would trust me? I didn't want to make a mistake. Things could be a mess if I chose the wrong move.

How? How? How?

I kept questioning myself until I bumped into somebody in the hallway.

"Ouch" I groanned. My books fell all over the ground.

"Sorry, Flora" a boy said to me.

"Huh?" I looked up

"Don't you know where you are going to?" Sky winked at me.

He gently helped me up and picked up all my books.

"Sorry, I wasn't paying attention." I smiled.

"Busy daydreaming about somebody, huh?" Sky grinned.

"Oh no, don't kid me" I giggled. That question somewhat made me feel bashful. I hoped he didn't realize it.

"I didn't think that I would see you now. I guess today is my lucky day. Would you like to have a coffee with me?" Sky asked.

"Aw, sounds sweet. I'd love to." I nodded.

I found it was a little odd to hang out with Sky without the gang. After all, I might be thinking too much. Just go with it.

He drove me to a very nice coffe shop. It had a lovely vintage decorating view and a warm atmostphere.

"Good evening. What can I get for you two?" The waitress asked us.

"Well, what do you want, Flora?" Sky gazed at me.

"Hmm...I would like to have Frappuccino, please" I looked at the menu and pointed.

"So do I" Sky told her.

"Aw, you like Frappuccino, too? We have something in common" I smiled.

"If that makes you like to talk to me more, than...yes" he laughed "I always ask for Americano, but today I'll try what you like."

"Well, it's really good, I'm sure of it" I added.

"So how is going on with you? Do you get used to living here?" Sky asked.

"I feel great. This town is so much better than my old place. I mean everybody is friendly and the constructions of the city is more modern. I really enjoy this place." I said.

"Yeah. I love this place." Sky nodded.

"Hey, by the way, how long have you known your gang?" I asked.

"Well, since junior high school"

"Wow, so you know the Winx since then, too?" I was so curious.

"I didn't think so. We only knew Musa, Helia's sister by that time. We didn't get to know them until Brandon is in a relationship with Stella, I guess it was about nearly a year" Sky said.

"But before that, I had heard about them once because of Riven's sister."

"Riven has a sister?" I widened my eyes.

"Yes. Her name is Krystal" Sky frowned.

"Krystal? I don't know if I heard it wrong, but is she..." I hesitated. This word was really hard to come out of my mouth.

"I know what you mean. We promised to not talk about it, at least in front of Riven" Sky sighed.

"I understand that" I bit my lips "It's just that, I am the newbie, I don't know much about everybody. Maybe I am way too curious. Sorry"

"No, don't think so. I can tell you, not all of that, but a little is okay"

Sky placed his hand on the forehead. He seemed to be a little uncomfortable.

"Krystal is Riven's younger sister. She is also Helia's ex-girlfriend. She died in a car accident 2 years ago. It is said that she ran suddenly into the street that the truck driver didn't see her. Some rumors said that it had something with Stella. But it turned out to be wrong. Even so, Riven still blamed it on Stella. This will explain why they can't stand of each other." Sky said.

"I'm sorry. It's so sad to hear that." I sighed. Poor Riven.

"Helia almost broke down when he got the news. However, he stayed quiet throughout her funeral, while Riven got mad" Sky frowned.

I couldn't imagine how Helia reacted to that. Nevertheless, I felt bitter in my soul. Hearing the boy I liked crashed down because of his love would tear my heart into pieces. Now I understand why Helia tried to hide away from all the things about Krystal.

"I can see why Riven seems to be hard to communicate with" I said.

"Oh don't think so. He is only tough on the outside. He is a good guy. I'm not advocating for my friend" Sky shrugged.

I thought Riven was a bad guy who always want to use fist to talk. Well, everything is not what it seems. Don't judge a book by its cover. Though, I didn't know what he thought about Stella. Does he still hate her? If she was proved to be guiltless, then why they still detest the other?

After having dinner at home all by myself, I put every dishes into the sinks and washed them. I liked doing chores. It seemed like a kind of excercise. Nabu had dinner with Layla in the town, mom was at work, so there was just only me in the house. I wasn't into eating alone, but I couldn't be that selfish by asking Nabu not going out with Layla.

I made a cup of coffee and walked to upstairs to my room. I thought I was gonna spent all night to do my assignment. I wanted to invest my knowledge and time to make a real good writing.

I sat down at my desk and pulled the curtains back to see if Helia was in his room. No, the window was shut. Well, it was sad not to see him. But it was better off to be able to concentrate on my homework.

I opened my laptop and look for some papers on the internet. They were useful to help me reconstruct my ideas to the assignments. I guessed I had spent for about 2 hours reading them, which made me a little dizzy. Therefore, I wanted to see something to relax.

Suddenly, an idea came across my mind. I opened the search website and type "Krystal Field". Not many titles appeared. I decided to clicked the first article.

15 YEARS OLD GIRL'S SEVERE ACCIDENT

From the article I had just read, she was running fast across the road without noticing the coming truck. She's passed away on the way to the hospital. It was questioned how come she was all alone. Eventually, the police announced it was only an ordinary traffic insident and stopped the investigation.

I didn't found anything related to Stella. Why Stella involved to this accident?

"HEY"

I looked over the window.

"You've been using laptop for hours. You should rest your eyes" Helia chuckled.

"I didn't know I was reading that much" I giggled.

"Well, you gotta focus so much on it. It's not good for your eyes" Helia smiled.

"Yeah, I know. Thanks for reminding me. But how did you know I've been using it that long?"

"Guess what. I've been watching you since I got into my room. You look so cute when you're concentrating on something" Helia winked.

"Don't lie to me" I guessed my cheeks must have been burning red.

"Bark...bark..." Max jumped besides Helia.

"You see, even Max agrees with me." Helia chuckled.

"Well, I will take it as a compliment." I mouthed.

"Yeah, you should. Anyways, it's getting very late now, I just wanna say goodnight to you"

I looked at the clock and it was almost 12 a.m. Oh dear. I was lost in time.

"I didn't know I stay up this late. Thanks Helia. Goodnight to you and Max" I waved at them.

I should get myself a rest. This would drive me exhausted. Maybe I would find something else later.

I intended to close the tab. Suddenly, something caught my sight. A line of related links appeared in front of my eyes. It was Harry Field is arrested after the trial. Absent-mindedly, I clicked it. Well, a few more minutes to take a quick look at this is okay, I thought.

Harry Field was accused of bribery. He worked at the Shelton company. As a quality manager, he used his position to earn extra money from other company to sign contracts with higher profit while the quality standard was ignored. This made the Shelton company lost about 10% revenue that year. Moreoever, bad products led to bad reputation. The CEO of the company, David Shelton, prosecuted a claim for the damages, but the indemnified fund money couldn't refill the lost budget.

David Shelton. I must've heard this name before. Is it Stella's father?

Oh. I didn't notice that Stella's family had a big business. That explained why she was so spoiled.

I found a picture of Stella's father walking to the court. Behind him was a woman whom I found her a little familiar. I bet I had seen her before. Come on, Flora. You can remember her.

Oh geez. I just figured out the link. She was Riven's mother. I gasped. And Riven fairly looked identical to Harry Field. I could jump right into the conclusion that Harry Field is Riven's father.

Now I understand a piece of this complicated case. Stella and Riven apparently disgusted each other because of their dads.

I enjoyed Saturday mornings. It means no school, I can do anything I want. I walked down to the kitchen and decided to make some waffles with strawberry. Strawberry is my favorite fruit. It is tasty and also good for your health. Why don't take a bite?

"Good morning, my beautiful flower" Nabu walked behind my back.

"Hey Nabu. You're up so early" I said in a singing voice. I'm feeling good due to something I discovered last night, the hatred between Riven and Stella.

"Wow. Somebody is really in the mood today" Nabu chuckled

"Well, I just wanna put some fun in my weekend making it more cheerful" I smirked.

"Okay, I see. Got any plan for today?" Nabu talked while biting an apple.

"I think I'm gonna read books all day" I said.

"Stop being a bookworm. You read too much. Do something else more social" Nabu mouthed.

"Like what?" I questioned with singing voice.

"Hmm...Heard that Musa is practicing today for the music contest. Maybe you should come and see."

"Great idea. What about you?" I raised my eyebrows.

"Nothing particularly. The boys asked me to go to play a basketball game" Nabu shrugged.

"Sounds more interesting than me reading books" I sighed.

"Suit yourself, Flo. You are always my interesting girl" he laughed. "Gotta go now, see ya"

"Okay. Bye bye" I waved at him.

I finished my delicious breakfast, and ran upstairs to my room. I took out a novel. It's a kind of classic romantic story which about a girl who fights for her love against the prejudice in 17th century. I love strong girls with fierce soul that never afraid to do what they want. My childhood had been under misery because I hadn't had the courage to fight back. I wasn't that weak girl anymore. I would speak for myself and always be proud for who I am.

Finished the book after 2 hours, I realized I had nothing else to do. I didn't wanna waste my beautiful Saturday morning by doing nothing. Therefore, I stood up and walked to the closet. I took out a floral dress and a pink pair of flats which had a tiny lovely bow on each. There I am, getting ready to go out. Maybe I could ask the Winx to wander around. Getting to know them was obviously not a waste.

"Oh my God. That dress is on fireeee" Stella yelled when we walked by the fashion store.

"Stop it Stella. You are embrassing us." Musa frowned.

"Can't help it. I have to buy that dress" Stella stormed in the store.

"She is so crazy" Layla giggled.

"Haha. You know her, Layla" Bloom said with a chuckle. "By the way, Muse. How is going on with you?"

"Thanks for asking. We're practicing a new song. It's When I Look At You. I'm just not sure. We're considering a new song." Musa said.

"Why?" I asked.

"Well. The crowd would prefer to hear something rock. This is a ballad song, it would be hard to heat them up" Musa sighed.

"But it actually is a good song for you to show your high notes. Don't think about it too much. Just sing a song that you can sing with your heart and soul." Layla smiled.

She is kind and sweet. She always gave the girls best advices ever.

"Thanks Layla. You comfort me a lot." Musa smiled.

"Tecna, are you okay?" I asked her since I noticed she seemed to neglect our conversation.

"Yeah. On Earth, Tecna" Musa snapped her fingers.

"Oh...what?" Tecna said with confusion.

"What're ya thinking?" I asked.

"Oh. The University that I applied for their scholarship had sent me an email. They said that overall, my grade is good, my profile is perfect. But there are so many students also want to earn the scholarship so they need to find the most 5 outstanding which means they need to see if I am confident enough to show them" Tecna explained.

"So what do they want you to do?" I asked.

"Hmm. They want me to make a video of me introducing myself and my work, show them some significant events, also my family and friends. Basically it's an ordinary vlog of life." Tecna said.

"Wow. You got a lot to work on" Musa giggled.

"Yeah. I know. I've been thinking about how to make it really creative and smart" Tecna said.

While the we were talking together, I looked around and noticed Bloom had left us. She was standing in front of table of sunglasses. I guessed she was trying on some. She put this one down, and tried another one. The seller was busy greeting other guests to the store.

All of a sudden. I saw Bloom put a pair of sunglasses into her bag without paying and acted like nothing happened. She slowly walked out of the store and went to another one. Nobody saw it. I had no idea what was going on. Did my eyesight go wrong? Was I dizzy? No. Not at all. What a shock. I was speechless due to what I had observed. Bloom is a rich girl and she doesn't have to care about money. This bewildered me when she had just stole something. Why? I was too shocked to find a possible reason at the moment.
