As Lauren and Niall sat at the café, Niall rambled on about his life.
"Ya know I was once in a band." Niall said.
"Cool! My boy-… my friend is a musician." Lauren replied.
"What's there name maybe I know them." Niall asked.
"His name is Shawn Mendes. So what band were you in?" Lauren said trying to change the subject.
"NO WAY! Shawny boy! I can't believe you know my bud! How's he doing?" Niall exclaimed.
"So what band were you in?" Lauren insisted.
"What? Oh! Sorry. Wait you don't know what band I was in? I thought the band was a big hit!" Niall said surprised.
"Um… I don't know, maybe I know. Give me a hint." Lauren said.
"Harry, Me, Zayn, Liam, and Louis." Niall replied.
"OH! I know! One Direction!" Lauren exclaimed. " I can't believe I didn't recognize you!"
Lauren and Niall rambled on about One Direction and Shawn. Lauren still didn't tell Niall about Shawn being her boyfriend. She thought that would just make it awkward between them because she thought he liked her. She didn't want to ruin that.
