Hey guys I'm back! I'm going to try to update every day, every other day at least. So time for a disclaimer YAY! (Absolutely hate disclaimers)

Let's play truth or dare!

Me: But I hate truth or dare

Internet: Sucks to suck. Anyway you're up first.

Me: Yay…

Internet: Truth or Dare?

Me: Truth.

Internet: Do you own PJO?

Me: Do I look like Rick Riordan?

Internet: I don't know! I don't have eyes and there are absolutely no pictures of you on the Internet!

Me: Sucks to suck. On with the story!

Annabeth's POV

I felt really bad about leaving Eva, Piper, and Percy, but I had to do something.

Something important.

Something huge.

After the war with Gaea the Athena Parthenos was left here. The Romans had no need for it so they left it to us, the only problem was there was absolutely nowhere to put it.

Then a few weeks ago Athena Iris messaged me asking if I could bring it up to Olympus and put it in her temple.

Of course I was skeptical about how I would get it to her, especially because I was in San Francisco at the time.

But now sense I'm here I want to get it to Olympus before it goes missing. Again.

All I have to do is call Hermes in front of it when I get to it. Simple enough right? Wrong. Leo had surrounded the entire place in booby traps that even a god couldn't get out of. And there was always a guard standing…well… guard.

Not that I didn't think I could defeat the guard if it came to a battle, it's just that the guards weren't always human. I know for a fact that Mr. D had gotten a few of his crazy followers to do it before and I did not want to run into them.

Luckily when I arrive in front of Bunker Nine (where the statue was currently) it was a camper in front of the booby traps.

The girl was of average height, maybe 5'6? She was thin and agile looking. The armor she wore was beat up and dented. The jeans she wore weren't in much better condition. Her hair was loose around her shoulders, long, and nearly black with one stripe of red flowing through it. She is holding a bow and arrow with red accents all over it. Red must be her favorite color.

I didn't recognize her; she must have joined when I was in San Francisco.

I speak first, "Hi. I need to get to the statue."

The girl narrows her eyes, "Who are you? And how do I know that you don't intend to harm the statue?"

"My name is Annabeth Chase. I will not harm the statue."

"Nice name but you still have no right to approach the statue."

Now she was making me angry, "Listen…" I realized that I didn't know her name.

"Jess Morrison."

"Thank you. Listen Jess I have more right to approach the statue than anyone in this camp. I am the head counselor of the Athena cabin and I was the one to retrieve it in the first place. I feel into the worst part of hell for that thing. I am merely going to give it to my mother so it can be placed in her new temple on Olympus. The Olympus I built by the way." After my rant I stare at her to see her reaction.

"Oh… ohhh! I know you! I knew the name sounded familiar. Your Percy's girlfriend and you were the one who is really good with a dagger. Sorry I didn't recognize you earlier, all of the names of camp legends are really hard to keep straight."

"You are forgiven and I shouldn't of lost my temper like that. I'm just really tired, I'm not always so insane and demanding." I joke.

"Don't worry about it. But one question, how are you going to get past Leo's traps?"

"I have my ways."

"Okay good luck." Jess steps back to allow me to try to reach the statue.

I look at Leo's work, which is flawless of course. There is no way to break the nets that lie perfectly camouflaged on the earth. I can see no way across unless you could fly and there is probably a laser grid in the air. To test my theory I throw some dirt into the air. Sure enough laser lines appear. That's odd, it's not in a grid fashion. I furrow my brow in concentration and try to think.

Wait…

I wonder if the nets have a weight limit.

I pick up a rock a toss it onto the nets. Nothing happens. Dammit. Leo thought of everything. I knew I could just go and get Leo or Jason but I had no idea where Leo was and Jason was I California. Plus I didn't want to make this last longer than it had to. And I was enraptured; I had to find my way across.

I turn to look at Jess, well actually her bow.

"Hey Jess can I borrow that?" I say pointing towards her bow.

"Sure I guess." She hands it over and I choose a grappling hook arrow. All arrow sets had them; they were highly useful.

I fire towards Bunker Nine and the arrow lodges itself in the rock just above the Athena Parthenos. I give Jess back her bow and tie the end of the rope to a tree. Since the lasers weren't in a grid I hoping I could zip line across.

However since the tree branch was shorter than the Athena Parthenos I would have to get to the top of Bunker Nine first.

Easy peasy…

"I'll be right back." I say before I run behind Bunker Nine leaving Jess to stare after me blankly.

Jess's POV

Annabeth was not what I was expecting. When she first walked up to me I thought I was dealing with some stuck up Aphrodite brat, but then she explained things and I realized that I had been wrong.

Annabeth was a tired, prideful, Athena smartass. That was actually the closest I've come to giving someone a real compliment in a long time.

A really long time.

I shake myself from my nostalgic thoughts as Annabeth appears on top of Bunker Nine. How she got up there so fast I don't know.

As I watch she jumps and flings herself onto the cord from my arrow. Annabeth she flies down the cord and lets go as she is over the head of Athena. She slides and catches onto some of the scrollwork of the statue just before she tumbles off.

I release a breath I hadn't realized I had been holding.

Annabeth suddenly yells, "Hermes I have a package for you!"

In a flash of light the god Hermes is there.

And he is scowling.

I can hear his voice from all the way down here, "Annabeth Chase, what a pleasant surprise. What can I help you with?"

I'm getting the feeling that these two don't get along well.

Then out of nowhere the statue is gone and Annabeth is deposited next to me.

"That went well!" I say with the false cheerfulness I always use around people.

"Maybe from down here." She mumbles.

"What do I do now?" The statue is gone and I since I was on guard duty I have no idea where to go.

"Just go join your cabin in their scheduled activities."

I flinch, "I don't want to go back to my cabin."

She frowns, "Why?"

"My cabin mates are rude and cruel."

"Really? The Apollo campers are usually quite easy to get along with."

I can't help it. I bust out laughing.

"I have confused the great Annabeth Chase. Now I can cross that off my bucket list!" I say, still laughing.

Annabeth looks annoyed, "What do you mean?"

"I am not a daughter of Apollo. My dad is Ares."

She nods, " So you are another Frank then."

"Frank?"

"He is a son of Mars that is more Apollo like in nature."

"In that case, yes I am another Fran…"

I get cut off as a horrible scream rips through the forest.

Annabeth's eyes widen, "Someone is in trouble." She has to shout to be heard over the scream that still hasn't stopped.

"Follow me!" Annabeth yells before turning and disappearing into the forest.

I take a deep breath before plunging into the forest.

Third POV

As Annabeth and Jess head toward the sound, a figure in black races out of the forest.

The figure holds a sword; it seems to be made of a dull glass with a hilt of gold. However, the most startling feature of the sword was the fact that as the blood on the blade began to soak in, a red light wove it's way down the handle and into the figure itself. The figure stops and stares at its hands.

Suddenly its hands alight in flame.

"Yes, yes. This will work very well."

Duh Duh Dunnnnnnn

What did you think? I actually really liked this chapter; don't know about you guys though…

Anyway there will be a few OC's in this story and I was thinking that I would like to meet your OC's. So comment (or review) information about the OC's you came up with and a few of them will end up in the story! You can enter as many as you want and please include as much detail as possible. I don't want to butcher the personalities.

Peace Out,
