Right, so now that I've got the Georgia/Jasper introduction fully stated and out of the way I will go onto the Carlisle/Bella aspect of the story. I know that quite a lot of you are only here for that reason, you sneaky duckies ;) I love you guys and your reviews and I thank you so much for everything!

"Bells, please?" Charlie was still begging me, "I just need you to go down to the hospital to get her medication, that's it!" This was the fifth time this morning that he had asked me that question, and after four refusals I could see he was starting to get angry with me. But he didn't understand how I couldn't go back there.

"Charlie, I have school work to do, and housework, then I have to cook..." I trailed off, playing the part of helpful daughter. He replied with a snort and a shake of his head.

"We're having Pizza tonight, you finished your homework last night and the house is spotless." We both looked up to see Georgia limping down the stairs, her face contorting in pain as she finally makes it down. She had sustained minor injuries but her leg was still pretty messed up, and in result she had a month of school signed off by Doctor Carlisle Cullen. The man that was stopping me from going to the hospital, and subsequently the reason for my trying my hardest to not be in any accidents.

"Well then. It's sorted.." Charlie smirked at me before grabbing his gun holster and police cap, he grabbed his keys and kissed us both on the cheeks. "I don't wanna hear anymore about it Bells, I'll see you guys tonight. Ring if you need me." And with that he was gone from the house leaving me to glare at my younger sister.

"I hate you." I simply stated, crossing my arms over my chest as she falls down onto the sofa, putting her legs up.

"Yeah, yeah, yeah, I love you too. While you're out can you grab me some chocolate? My sweet tooth is kicking in for some reason." With that she turned back to the TV and started flicking through the channels silently telling me that our conversation was over and that there was no more room for discussion. I huffed in frustration before grabbing my truck keys and storming out; I checked that my phone was on before pulling out of our drive. I was seething the entire way, grinding my teeth against the nervous flutter that caused my stomach to twist. As I made my way towards the towns hospital I allowed myself to get lost in the memories of his golden eyes, his blonde hair that fell perfectly just above his eyes, his porcelain skin that was so smooth and perfect it had to have been stolen from an angel somewhere along the line.

I finally made it to the parking lot without much trouble and put the car in park before collecting my breath and slowly exiting my car and making my way towards the hospitals main doors. As they slid open I released the breath that I didn't realise that I had been holding. The main waiting room was fairly empty; I guess that's what happens when you have a hospital in a small town like this. With a deep breath I pulled out my phone and checked Dad's instructions; 'get Georgia's prescription, get groceries, don't fall over.' Groaning at the latter instruction I shoved my phone back into my pocket and walked up to the woman on reception.

"Erm, excuse me, I'm here to get a prescription for Georgia Swan?" I asked tentatively. The woman looked up at me and nodded, smiling.

"And may I ask who you are to Georgia?" Her voice was sickly sweet as she flicked through her records.

"She's her sister." A voice replied from behind me and I stopped breathing. The receptionist looked up and visibly blushed at the person behind me, she sat up straighter and ran her fingers through her graying hair.

"Yes, Doctor Cullen. Is there something I can do for you?" She leant forwards, pushing herself closer to him.

"No thank you, Jean." Turning, I saw him smiling at her before he looked at me. "If you would give Miss Swan the required medication for Georgia, please?" A muffled agreement from behind me indicated that she had been all too happy to oblige to his wishes. His eyes turned to me and his smile widened. "Miss Swan, would you mind stepping into my office once you're done?" I could feel the furious blush spreading across my cheeks as I nodded.

"Erm, sure of course." I looked away to see that Jean was holding out my prescription, jealousy clear in her feature as she sat back down with a huff. Confused and slightly shocked I took the small bag of painkillers and followed Doctor Cullen into a spacious office just down the corridor. He sat behind his large mahogany desk and gestured for me to take a seat in front of him.

"So, Bella," the way he said my name sent chills throughout my body, "how is that sister of yours doing?" I sighed, this was not what I was expecting whatsoever.

"She's fine, using any excuse to make me wait on her hand and foot." I replied, causing a chuckle to escape his lips. His golden eyes seemed darker today that they had the last time I saw him and there were slight purple marks under his eyes as if he had not had enough sleep. "Are they over working you, Doctor Cullen?" I joked as I played with the bag in my hands nervously.

He tensed.

"Pardon?" He sat up, the smile still on his face but his eyes seeming to harden at my question.

"It's just, you seem tired... Forgive me, but you look much more tired since the last time we saw each other." At this he seemed to relax and his smile became gentler and more natural.

"Thank you for your concern, Bella, but I'm fine. I'm actually taking a little holiday with my family this Friday; we're going for a long weekend of camping. The weather is supposed to be superb, so why waste it?" He rested back against his chair and checked his watch. "Bella, I'm about to go on my lunch break. Could I be so bold as to ask you to lunch with me?" He raised a brow and I swear my heart beat stopped.

"Well, I... Of course, but I didn't bring my wallet with me." I looked down, feeling completely stupid and flushed at the thought of spending even more time with this man. His amused laugh caused me to look up at him again with confusion.

"Please, Bella, don't insult me by presuming that I would allow you to pay even a dime." He grinned at me and stood up from his chair, holding out his hand to me. "I have asked you to lunch, so I will pay completely for the honour of your company." He smirked as he helped me up from my seat and gestured to the door. I allowed myself to smile and nod, silently accepting his offer. He opened the door for me and I walked into the corridor with him by my side. Eyes found us almost immediately, the infamous Doctor Cullen and the Chiefs Daughter walking so close together, his hand resting against her back. I could hear the gossip already flowing and immediately my eyes found refuge on the floor. "Ignore them." His voice flowed through my ears and my blush intensified as we exited the hospital and he drew me towards his car.

The black Mercedes sat under the shade of a large tree, shining even in the cloudy parking lot. Heading straight to the passenger side Carlisle opened the door and bowed slightly, winking at me causing me to laugh slightly.

"Well thank you sir."

"You're welcome, my lady." He grinned broadly as he closed the door behind me and made his way to the driver's side. As soon as he slid into his seat reality kicked in. I was sat inside of Doctor Carlisle Cullen's car, about to go have lunch with him, and I wasn't dead yet. Never in a million years did I expect this to ever happen. "Bella?" I looked up at him and smiled slightly. "We're here." What? I hadn't even realised that we had pulled away; I must have been so deep in thought. How embarrassing.

"Oh... Sorry!" I opened my door and got out at the same time he did.

"You need not worry; you're very interesting when you're thinking." He chuckled again as I came to stand by his side again, his arm automatically finding itself around my waist as he lead me to a small restaurant. "A table for two, please?" He asked the Maitre D, and I was almost positive that he slipped him a handful of dollar bills as he asked.

"This way sir." The man in an impeccable suit replied as he led us to a small booth in the back, away from everyone else. The place was beautiful, everything made of white marble and deep mahogany, the contrasting colours and floral scents filled every part of my senses, making me feel slightly overwhelmed. As soon as we were seated –Carlisle had insisted on pulling out my chair and helping me sit before sitting down himself, very gentlemanlike- the waiter entered our area and took our orders for drink, Carlisle ordered himself a glass of Frascatti, some sort of Italian wine, and I simply ordered a coke. Everything felt so posh, and Carlisle fitted in to the surroundings so well, where as I stuck out like a sore thumb.

"Bella? Are you ok?" A hand slid on top of mine and I tensed immediately. The shock of the skin on skin contact confused me, but the temperature. He was so cold...

"I'm fine, Doctor Cullen." I smiled up at him and he sighed shaking his head.

"Carlisle. Please, Bella." He smiled at me warmly, removing his hand from mine as the waiter brought our drinks, and he quickly took our order for food. We both ordered a chicken salad, I wasn't that hungry and Carlisle seemed to be one of those men that always watch what they eat. "So tell me about yourself?" He asked, running his finger around the rim of his wine glass as he watched me with those liquid gold eyes.

"I was born here, but soon after Georgia was born my mom and dad separated. We –my sister and I- spent the majority of our time shifting back and forth between our parents during the holidays, but we mainly stayed in Arizona. At the end of last semester I decided that it probably would be best to come here. Mom had remarried and Phil travels a lot, so we decided to come and stay with dad." I sipped at my coke, wondering why my life sounded so dull.

"Well, sounds like your life has been hectic. How do you like full time Forks?" He chuckled, leaning back slightly watching me closely. I snorted into my drink, rolling my eyes slightly.

"It's wet and cold. But the people... They make up for it." I looked down, disbelief clouding my thoughts. I was flirting with the Doctor!

"Well, I have to say that the town has become a lot livelier since you've arrived." Looking up I try and read Carlisle's expression. He was watching my intently, like I was the most interesting thing in the world. "You're special Bella..." He whispered, I think he meant to say it in his head but it caused a blush to erupt on my cheeks again. I quickly looked down again until the food came.

The rest of lunch went without much trouble and we were soon headed back to the hospital in his car. I held in my disappointment at having to leave this beautiful man and go home to a place where he would not be. We slowly pulled back into his original parking space and as he parked the car we both stayed silent. Eventually I breathed in deeply and turned to him.

"Thank you, Carlisle, I had a lovely time." I smiled but stopped as I realised how close his face was to mine.

"No, thank you Bella." He lifted a hand and pushed a stray bit of hair from my face behind my ear. My breathing stopped, his eyes flashed down to my lips and back up to my eyes again. Time slowed and all I could hear was the pounding of my heart in my ears as I watched him lean forward slowly, licking my suddenly dry lips I felt his hand touch my cheek again, our lips mere millimetres from each other. Fireworks seemed to explode as his lips finally pressed against my own, heat pulsated throughout my body as our lips moulded together, moving in perfect harmony. A sharp intake of breath caused his grip to tighten, his other hand coming to rest on my waist and it felt so right to be in his arms. A small vibration in my back pocket broke the steady silence and caused us to break apart. Quickly reaching into my pocket I pulled it out and looked at the caller ID. I was going to kill her.

"What Georgia?" I asked breathlessly as I answered the call.

"When are you going to be home? I'm bored... Wait... Who are you with? You sound breathless." I could almost hear the cogs in her head working. "Wait, are you with..?"

"I'll be home in twenty minutes. Goodbye Georgia." I hung up before she could say anything else and sank back into the leather seat, rubbing my forehead gently before turning to look at Carlisle who was staring out of the window.

"I apologise, Bella... I shouldn't have... I didn't mean to..." Great. He regretted it. With a furious blush I shook my head.

"No, I'm the one who should be sorry... I have to go..." I reached for the door when I felt a hand grip my wrist.

"I want to see you again..." I looked up to see him looking away from me, as if he were ashamed. "I know I shouldn't, and I know that this is wrong seeing the age difference and everything but..." Using all my courage I silenced him with a small kiss on his lips.

"I want to see you again too... Here, this is my number. Call me anytime." I smiled, liking the new found courage I had acquired and got out of his car, grabbing Georgia's medication and ran through the rain to my own car, getting in I waved one final time to the golden angel before pulling out of the parking lot, my heart pounding a mile a minute.

"You were totally with the Doctor weren't you?" Georgia had not let up since I had walked through the door. She had pounced on me and almost sent the groceries flying from my arms.

"I'm not talking to you about this, Georgia." I quipped as I continued putting away the shopping before chucking her medication at her.

"That means yes." She smirked, confident that she had won this round. I sighed and rubbed my forehead shaking my head trying to clear it.

"You are impossible." I groan, completely annoyed.

"Thank you."She smiled, as if my comment had been a compliment on her character. I grabbed myself a glass of water and walked into the front room, flopping onto the couch I turned the TV on and landed on 'Romeo and Juliet' with Leonardo DiCaprio and Clare Danes. The couch slid down slightly indicating Georgia had sat beside me. She was humming a tune that I recognised too well.

"You'd better not start..."

"Bella and Carlisle sitting in a tree, K.I.S.S.I.N.G. First comes love..." I hit my forehead with the palm of my hand in total surrender.

"Will you grow up? You're 16 for God's sakes. Not 6." I huffed and crossed my arms, annoyed that she had managed to get me to snap.

"Guess what?" She looked down sheepishly, playing with her fingernails. I raised a brow, nodding at her to carry on. "I think you two would make cute babies." She laughed and I picked up a pillow and threw it at her head, laughing along with her. She knew how to make me crack.

Ok. I had a massive break, but I needed to spend some time with the family for Birthday's and Christmas. I love you all very much, guys! Thank you so much.
