What's up fanfiction? Okay so there is not much to say, except for the fact that I get to go to a concert in May and I am spazzing! And that there will be a lot of different peoples point of views in this chapter. Sorry if that annoys you! But that's it. Oh and I am starting a thing where I list songs that I listened to while writing this.

And now for the story!

Percy's POV

Where is Annabeth? I haven't seen her since we arrived when she ran off. I was expecting her to be back soon, but she hasn't shown up. Now, I know that Annabeth can take care of herself, but there are some things in the camp that could give her a run for her money.

I decide to stand up and go find her myself. I walk past the climbing wall when a bone-rattling scream destroyed the brief peace that had fallen over camp.

I just stood still for a couple of seconds trying to get the despair of the sound out of my head.

I took off towards the place where I had heard the scream come from. When I made it to the edge of the woods the scream stopped. I scanned my surroundings, not sure where in the woods the shriek had come from. I intended to find out who was in danger, because anyone with a brain knows that a scream in Camp Half-Blood means trouble.

I was about to make my way in when a hand clamped down on my shoulder. It was Grover.

"Hey Perce!"

"Grover! When did you get here?" I asked. I wasn't going to tell him that he startled me a little, because Grover would make fun of me for the rest of the weak.

"I arrived a few minutes ago. You heard the scream, right? It kind of reminded me of the Panic." Grover was referring to something he did in the Battle of the Labyrinth that scared away the enemy forces and allowed us to win the battle.

I asked something that was bothering me for the past seconds. I took a deep breath and asked, "Do you think it was Annabeth?"

"Naw. I know Annie's scream. It's lower and more… gravelly," he replied. I sighed in relief. I couldn't imagine Annabeth being hurt. After all we had been through—I loved her.

Before Grover could tell what I was thinking, I spoke up. "Should I go in and check it out? It sounded pretty urgent."

"Do you know where it came from? Do you know it's not a trap? Do you know it wasn't some kind of monster? Cause it didn't sound human to me."

"You're not human," Grover raised an eyebrow, "Alright, alright I get it. I shouldn't go help someone who is probably getting mauled right now."

"Exactly."

"Wow, you are so much different than the nervous little Grover I remember," I said sarcastically.

"I'm a Lord now Percy. I can't be nervous little Grover anymore," Grover stated, obviously not grasping my cynicism. I stopped myself from laughing at him, but I may have let out a smile because Grover was staring at me angrily.

"Listen Grover, just because you are all important now doesn't mean you have to act like it. To tell you the truth, I don't want to go in there either. If you tell anyone though I will probably never forgive you."

Grover sniffles a bit before saying, "Thanks man, I—."

A rustling in the bushes cut him off. I whirl around to see a figure pop out of the shrubs behind, clasping onto Riptide with my hand on the cap. I released it slowly when I caught a better look at what—no, who had jumped out.

"I'm starting to get a little tired of people jumping out at me. Eva, what are you doing here?"

She looks breathless, "Thanks for the warm welcome, and by the way, you have a serious monster problem in there, I was taking a jog in the woods when I stumbled across a body lying in a stream. It was that elfish kid…um…Leo! That was his name! I screamed hoping someone would come and help me. Well, two people did. One of them was Annabeth, and the other was a camper named Jess. They told me that they need more people to protect them carrying Leo. Do you guys want to help?"

"You were the one that screamed?" says Grover.

Eva looks annoyed, "Yes, are you going to help or not?" she snaps.

Thank the Gods, Annabeth's okay. "Yeah we'll help," I answer.

"Good. Follow me," Eva said. "This is a great first day at camp so far…"

Annabeth's POV

I hope Eva gets back in time. Jess was able to heal Leo a little bit, but he needs to get the infirmary. "Jess, how much longer can he last?"

Jess wipes her bloody hands on her shirt and doesn't glance up from Leo's body. "For the greatest chance of survival he needs to get to the infirmary in 10 minutes, at most."

"Annabeth! Annabeth! I got Grover and Percy. Sorry for taking so long." Eva breaks into our little clearing.

"It's fine Eva. Good job." I say. Suddenly I feel Percy's arms wrap around me. I hug him back, but I'm still confused. "Seaweed brain, what's with the sudden embrace?"

Percy steps back awkwardly and shrugged his shoulders. "I was just worried about you, that's all." Our group stood there in silence until Percy broke the ice by clearing his throat, "So…what are we going to do?"

Jess speaks up this time, "Percy, Eva, and Annabeth should form a triangle around Grover, Leo, and I. Then while we are carrying him, Grover can try some of his earth magic shit and I will try to keep Leo's condition stable."

"It's not shit." Grover mumbles under his breath.

"Get moving!" screams Jess. She was trying to remain calm for the sake of Leo but I could see that she was starting to break character.

"Yes sir!" Percy and Eva both salute Jess, mockingly of course. Which I really don't think was helping Jess's nerves.

"I will whip your asses. Get moving." Jess growls. It still doesn't scare either of them, so Jess looses it. "Fine! Let Leo die! See if I care!" she yelled, throwing her hands in the air and marching away from the body.

I decided it was time to intervene, "Guys, Leo has to be in the infirmary in seven minutes and every second you spend bickering means less of a chance that Leo will make it alive."

That spurred them into motion. Percy, Eva, and I stood in a circle around Leo while Grover and Jess lifted him into the air.

I knew the chances of making it to the infirmary were pretty good, but I couldn't help being nervous. It would take about 2 minutes to get out of the forest and another 2 to get to the Big House. So by the numbers we will have enough time. And numbers have never lied to me before. Then again, if anything happened…

Grover's POV

Man, Leo is sure heavy for such a scrawny kid. My muscles were aching and we hadn't even left the forest yet. I looked over at Jess, but she didn't seem to be struggling as much as I was. Probably came with the whole demigod gig.

I could hear Percy behind me, loud as always. Not only were his footsteps loud and clumsy, but he didn't refrain from talking as well. Annabeth was stealthier and Eva was doing pretty well for a newbie.

We are about to leave the forest and my monster sensing abilities start tingling.

"Guys a monster is coming up on my right." The look on every ones face told me that they had sensed it too.

Before I could do anything about it, a Chimera bursts through the trees and pounces on Eva. I ran to help her when she screamed, so loudly and high pitched that it even made the Chimera loose focus. The monster scrambles away from her in confusion and Percy takes advantage, pulling Riptide out of his pocket and slaying the beast.

"Eva, are you okay?" Annabeth questions.

"Yeah, yeah. Just a scratch."

"It's bleeding an awful lot for a scratch." I say.

"Well whop-de-doo, Leo is in a worse condition and stopping helps nobody. When we get to the infirmary, I then give you permission to be annoying," Eva says in a huff.

"She's right lets keep moving." Annabeth starts to walk towards camp again. "Are you coming or not? We have five minutes."

"Okay, fine, I'm on my way," I mutter. I wasn't sure why I was helping out with this case. I didn't even know Leo that well, and when I met him he seemed pretty annoying. From what I saw in those couple of minutes, tells me that when he's unconscious is the only time he's quiet.

He's a fire boy, and I'm a nature satyr. Getting along really isn't in our blood. His building and shit causes a lot of pollution. He owes me for this one…

Eva POV

Dammit! That effing monsters claws really effing hurt. I can see the blood beginning to soak through my shirt and I'm fighting the urge to pass out. I do that a lot, unfortunately.

Our little procession has attracted a lot of attention since leaving the shadows of the forest. Jess and Grover were finally relieved of their duties as a gurney when two muscled campers rush forward, grab Leo, and dart off towards the Big House.

Jess is not far behind, racing to the infirmary to help heal Leo. For some reason I get an urge to follow, maybe it's because I was the one to find him so I have to make sure his is okay? I don't know the reason but I go anyway.

I get there just after Jess and gasp at what I see. Almost every bed is full. There are kids lying everywhere covered in cuts, bruises, and even hives. What kind of camp is this?

It is enough to make me see black spots dance across my vision. I have to grab the doorway to keep from passing out.

A blonde girl races to my side, "Hey, are you okay? Do you need to lie down?"

"I'm fine. I was looking for Leo, I was the one that found him and I want to make sure he is okay."

"Oh, okay follow me, you guys got him here just in time. Any longer and he would have been past our help. I'm Lily by the way. Lily Blackhart."

Lily leads me past a row of campers with sprained or broken bones and the sight of purple and black limbs nearly reintroduces me to my lunch. I have to stop for a moment and when I do I see something horrifying.

Not three feet away from me is a big burly girl sitting on a cot. Her left arm is completely bandaged and there is a large welt on the side of her head. But that isn't what gets me. It is the fact that she is sitting next to a kid, maybe ten years old, who is missing two fingers on his right hand. And when I say missing I mean like just came off. He is crying, bawling really, and the girl is holding him and whispering to him.

I see the terror and pain so blankly on his face that the black spots slide across my vision for the second time today. The usual loud ringing in my ears begins and I start to feel like I'm floating. I know this particular feeling. I'm passing out. Sure enough my body starts to crumple and I hear someone yelling my name. My head smashes into something and that's when I finally loose consciousness and slip into the blackness.

Thanks for reading you guys; this was my longest chapter! So I finally got a beta (I knew I needed one, her name on Fanfiction is Natnatcortizzle) and I really like how this chapter came out. Also, I am NOT going for a romance between Eva and Leo. I am a hardcore Caleo shipper. Anyway until next time,

Peace Out,

P.S. If want me to include your OC's I need them soon, Eva's time at CHB is drawing to a close.
