Okay, so I get it. Reviewing is a drag, and most people on the Internet have better things to do, but do you think you could give it a shot? Just a quick little sentence? I'll even make it easy for you! Type in '1' if it didn't suck and '2' if it did. That's all; promise.

Travis's POV

You have got to be kidding me, whoever owned this phone was not very focused on keeping people out. The password was 5432, it's like this person couldn't be bothered to even try to give me a challenge. I didn't even need Connor for this one.

Whatever, this guy's loss.

Sighing, I push out the door into the sunlight and squint my eyes at the unexpected brightness. It's like 7 o'clock for Hera's sake!

Do your damn job Apollo.

My name startles me out of my thoughts, "Travis Stoll! Don't tell me you're smuggling cell phones into camp again." Katie stands twenty feet away with her hands on her hips.

I smirk, "I have this for official camp business, for your information."

Katie rolls her eyes, "Is that what you're calling it now?" She closes the distance between us and plucks the phone out of my hands.

"No Katie, I'm serious. Annabeth needs it, she thinks it belonged to the guy that stabbed Leo." Katie looks startled, "Are you serious."

I just nod my head; she looks at the phone and then back at me.

"Then we better get it to Annabeth." She links her arm through mine, and starts walking, "Why does Annabeth want it?"

I kiss her on the head and then open my mouth; "She said something about seeing whom he called."

"Or she."

"What?" I ask, confused.

"I could have been a woman." Katie explains.

"No it couldn't of."

Katie pulls away and glowers at me, "Why? Don't think women are capable of stabbing people." I laugh, "No, it's just that if it was a woman Leo would have stopped to flirt with her."

Katie smacks me lightly, "Leo's injured, don't be an ass." But I can see the smirk she's fighting down.

I poke her side and a small laugh escapes from her lips, this time the smack stings a little, "Ow! That hurt Katie-Cat." I joke.

She kicks me in the shins, "Don't call me that Travis." I laugh and dance backwards, "Katie-Cat."

"Stop it!"

"Katieeee-Caaaaat."

"Travis Stoll, quit it."

"The Katieist of Cats." I do a small little jig and she lunges at me, we both go toppling to the ground, her on top.

"I swear to gods, I will murder you someday." And then she plants a sweet kiss on my lips, "Just not today."

"What are you two doing?" I break away from Katie's kiss to find a displeased Annabeth hovering over me.

"Taking a break?" I laugh as Katie clambers off of me and hands Annabeth the phone, "We were looking for you." She's as red as a tomato.

How adorable.

Slowly, I push myself to my feet, "The password is 5432. Whoever you're dealing with… let's just say he's not the deadliest lighting bolt in Zeus's closet." I can feel Katie roll her eyes and I watch Annabeth do the same thing.

"Well thank you. I'm going to go find Percy." Annabeth waves and walks away, her head bent over the phone, attempting to read the screen in the harsh sun.

I wait until she's out of view and then grab Katie by the hand, "So, where were we?"

Annabeth POV

I need Percy, after seeing Travis and Katie messing around I realized that I haven't seen Percy all day. I need to see him.

Everything was moving so fast; it's hard to believe that the night before last I was at a school dance, almost normal for once. And now we're in the middle of another crisis.

Calm down Annabeth, now is not the time to panic.

I force myself to take a few deep breaths and hunch over the phone again; something was bothering me about it. But I couldn't put my finger on what, so I type in the password.

The password!

That's it.

The crime had all the hallmarks of a smart person, and yet the phone password insinuated that this man was very dumb. A person can't be smart half the time and dumb the other half.

That leaves one explanation.

The man who stabbed Leo is dumb and malleable, but whomever he is working for is most certainly not.

Percy's POV

"What do you mean by 'Chaos'?" I ask Chiron, secretly hoping I misunderstood.

"I mean that the Primordial force known as Chaos is rising once again." Chiron states as if he is already standing over our graves.

Eva speaks up, "But wait. If he rose once before that means it's possible to defeat him, that's good news right."

Callie nods, for once not able to say a word.

"Last time Chaos didn't rise." Chiron tells us without remorse.

"But you said…" Eva trails off, losing the sliver of hope she held in her eyes.

"There were those who attempted to raise him, but it was all for naught. Luckily there was not enough chaos in the world to raise him."

I frown, "What do you mean by that?"

Chiron gets a look in his eyes, a look I recognize. It's his 'teacher mode' look, "Think of it this way. To raise Chaos you must fill an atomic bar…" Eva interrupts him, "Like the kind of bar people use in fundraisers?"

"Yes child. But last time they were not able to fill the bar, peace was spread through the land before the top was reached. However, this time I fear they will reach the top. Think of all that has happened lately."

I speak up, "The wars with Gaea and Kronos."

Callie pipes up, "All the political turmoil and stuff."

Chiron nods "Go even father back."

Eva speaks then, "9/11, Vietnam, Korea, WWI and WWII. Um… the Russian Revolution." She racks her brain and in the silence I add, "The French Revolution, the American Civil War and Revolution."

Chiron smiles at us, "Exactly, all it will take for his rise is a few more such events. Or possibly smaller."

I shake my head, "No, this is too much. First Kronos, then Gaea, and now Chaos himself? I faced Tartarus and barely got out alive. Imagine Chaos." I'm practically yelling now.

"It's not fair."

Agreed Percy, agreed.

Peace Out,
