If I'm doing Favoritism in my story then I'm sorry I'll try not to do it. But according to me I haven't done any favoritism. I just made Rumi and Klaus interact with each other more because I want them to get attached. I know how my story line is supposed to should hate Klaus and who shouldn't, and according to that I'm writing it.I making Klaus and Rumi interact more is written for a reason which you will understand after few chapters and IN MY FIRST CHAPTER, I MADE NICK AND CAROLINE INTERACT. IT WASN'T KAT WHO INTRODUCED NICK… I MADE CAROLINE AND NIK CONVERS FIRST and if we talk about Nik's interaction with Klaus, I know I have shown it less but every time I have shown it, I made it clear that Nick doesn't like talking to Klaus like Rumi does.. But still if you can't appreciate the way I'm trying my best to make this story best Klaroline fan fiction even when English isn't my first language then please don't read it.. I don't have any hate towards the person who called me favoritism , in fact I appreciate that you shared your thoughts, I'll try my best not to look favoritism if I'm looking like one
For those who actually like and love this story. I just want to tell you guys that I love you a lot for supporting me till now. Chapter 6
Nick ran upstairs when Klaus hissed at him; He stuck his tongue out at his sister before he ran upstairs. He didn't know why people always took his sisters side well mainly girls. Is it because they are girls? Nick shook his head as he slowly walked towards the hallway making his way to his room which he shared with Kol; Nick liked been with uncle Kol, because he is like a father to him. Uncle Kol and Stefan had always been there for him when he needed someone to talk too or needed someone to play a boy game with;they had always been a father figure for him helping him in a way a father is supposed to help their 's the reason they never really asked about or needed their father, because their uncle, aunt and mom were all they needed to have a family.
Nick stopped himself near a room; the door to the room was half open. He looked at the room narrowing his eyes because every time he had visited this house, this room was always locked!
Been curious for what is inside of it he made his way towards it. slowly peaking his head to look inside; when he looked inside all he could see was darkness, there was only a small ray of light which was coming from the window shining directly on the bed. Nick slowly went inside the room locking the door as he turned his head looking at all the paintings that were hanging on the walls.
He smiled as he made his way towards the bed which was of king size, he gently touched the bed keeping his hand on the sheets feeling the smoothness of it in his hands, Nick climbed on the bed and started jumping on in as he giggled ..
The bed was so smooth that it made Nick jump more making him let out a laugh,he stopped jumping when he heard Aunt Rebekah calling out Rumi's name for a bath. He quickly sat on the bed not wanting to make any noise, he slowly climbed down the bed from the other side as soon as his feet touched the ground he heard a crack sound, his eyes widened as he stared at the ground where the sound came from, he slowly removed his feet and saw that he accidently stepped on the reading glasses. He opened his mouth in shock but kept his hands on his mouth, wondering what will happen if the person who owns the glasses will shout at him? Without even thinking twice he quickly picked up the broken reading glass, he looked left and right trying to find a place where he could hide it.
his eyes locked at the stand beside the bed, he quickly opened the drawer to hide the glasses, he closed it in fast and turned to make his way towards the door but he froze when he realized there was something in draw that caught his eyes, he turned back as he ran towards the stand opening the draw as he took sketch pad out.
His eyes widened when the first picture was of his mother. He kept the pad on the bed and started going through it, there were a lot of pictures of his mother, one of her smiling while she was dancing, the other was of her looking at the horse, Nick smiled at his mother pictures, he was curious as of too who would have sketched her so perfectly making her more beautiful than she already was. He kept on turning the pages as his smile kept on getting wider and turned the last page of the sketch with an eagerness to see what sketch might it be, but his breath got lost when he saw it wasn't a sketch but there were actual photos kept on the last page; Photos of his mother and Aunt Bekah and her brother Klaus.
he looked at the first picture curiously where Klaus and his mother were dancing with an smile on their faces, he went to the other pictures where in some Klaus and his mother were kissing, in some of the pictures his mother was smiling at the camera while Klaus was kissing her cheeks.
He saw the last photo were of Klaus and his mother, they were standing, both of them having a gold crown on their read the letters that were in the photo.
"PROM QUEEN AND PROM KING"... Nick eyes widened when he realized that Klaus was his mother's boyfriend.
Tears started forming in his eyes when he started placing all the pieces together.
Klaus was my mother's boyfriend which means he is our father? He is the one who left us that's the reason we never saw Aunt Bekah brother for years. That's why Uncle Kol,Uncle Elijah and aunt Bekah take care of us and call us their family! He looked at the picture of his mother and Klaus who were happily smiling at each other. It was then he noticed it!
Klaus has dimples to. That's what momma meant once when she said Rumi's smile is like her Fathers. And he is the reason why I'm named NICK because everyone calls Klaus Nik too…tears started flowing freely down my face as he realized that Klaus was their father.
He is the one who left them!
The one who left his mom when she needed him most
Is Klaus been our father the only reason why Aunt Bekah and Uncle Kol have stayed with us till now? And have helped my mom? So they wouldn't have helped my mom if she wasn't their brother's girlfriend? Do they only love me because I'm their brother's son..?
His tears started flowing rapidly as the truth started getting thought was suddenly interrupted when he heard someone yell in pain from downstairs…he quickly hid the sketches and photos in the drawer as he ran downstairs wiping away the tears from his met Uncle Kol and Aunt Bekah on the way to the hall as they looked at each other in confusion
"What is it..?" Aunt Bekah asked Kol for which he just shook his head and went downstairs to see. Nick followed them and his eyes widened when he saw Aunt Kat standing still while Klaus was kneeling on his knees his hands covered his front part, his face was red and he kept hissing at her.
"What was that for?" Klaus hissed at her in pain
"You know what was it for" Katherine hissed at him.
Kol and Bekah just kept looking at the scene is front of knew Klaus deserves what is happening so they didn't interrupt infact they just stood there watching Katherine handle him. Nick looked at the scene in front of him. He knew Aunt Katty can get angry when she wants to be but watching her harm Klaus who came in this town after years made his doubt more clear, now he was just 99% sure that Klaus is their father. But he still didn't want to believe it, not until his momma confirms ran towards Aunt Katherine
"Aunt Katty" he said wrapping his arms around her thighs, he looked at her and saw how a smile immediately started forming on her lips when she saw him. Katherine brushed her hands in Nick hairs as she picked him up in her arms
"Hey buddy" she said kissing his cheeks ignoring the snarls and growl Klaus was throwing at her.
Nick looked at Klaus who was still down on his knees in pain, a smallpart of him wanted to help his father but apart of him didn't because he still hates him for what he did, only if Klaus is really his father. Nick looked at Aunt Katty who was giving Klaus a death glare , Nick decided to clear his doubt by asking Aunt Katty first about his father before asking his mother, because he had seen his mother crying at night when she miss my dad, and he didn't want to make her cry like his father made her.
"Let's go nick" she said without breaking her glare with Klaus as she turned to stare at the stairs "Rumi" she yelled making Nick back away at her loud voice. It took few minutes before Rumi came running downstairs her hair was still wet from the smiled and ran towards Katherine opening her arms to allow Katherine to take her in her arms.
Katherine kissed her cheeks as soon as Rumi got comfy in her arms while Nick on took a step towards Katherine glare stopped her
"I don't want your explanation, we are leaving" Katherine said in a calm tone but even Bekah could see her anger in it. Bekah and Kol nodded at her without saying anything because they knew it was their fault that they didn't tell anyone that Klaus was back. Klaus slowly stood up looking at Katherine
"If you're actually still angry about the fact that I hurt Ca-" before Klaus could complete the sentence Katherine kept the kids on the floor and punch him hard on his face making him stop before he could take Caroline name especially in front of Rumi and Nick. Katherine was sure she was going to give a lot of explanation to them after this already but she didn't wanted them to know about Klaus and Caroline, especially not now, not like this.
"If you even think about saying her name or even think about her. I swear to god I'll make sure you never stand again" Katherine hissed. Nick looked at Katherine and at Klaus in shock... Rumi moved towards Klaus
"Klaus are you okay..? Why did you make Aunt Katty so angry?" Rumi said as she wrapped her arms around Klaus thighs making Katherine look in shock at their interaction.
Klaus looked at her in shock because after Katherine kicked and punched him no one from his family cared enough to ask him how he was they didn't even care; they didn't even want to help him stand up when this girl who isn't related to him is now standing as close to him, to ask whether he was okay or not.. the way Rumi was looking at Klaus made him smile the way she cared for him even when he didn't deserved it especially when he was so rude to her from the kept his hand on her head nodding his head.
"Of course I'm okay." he said "And whatever happened between me and Katherine is between us adults okay" he said as softly as possible. He was surprised at his own softness because he never talked to anyone in such a soft way except his smiled at him hugging him.
He didn't know why but he felt himself been pulled towards Rumi even when he tried his best to stay away from her. She hugged him tightly making everyone look in shock at her closeness.
Katherine pressed her lips tightly trying her best to control herself so that she wouldn't pull Rumi out of Klaus arms. Kol and Bekah looked at each other wondering how come their brother allowed someone other than family so close to him. Kol just closed his eyes not wanting to think about that day when Klaus will get to know that Rumi and Nick are the his children, because Kol was sure that after that day Klaus will leave the town yet again
"Rumi lets go" Nick told Rumi who was hugging the person who hurt their mother... Rumi narrowed her eyes at Nick but smiled looking at Klaus.
"Bye Klaus" she smiled showing off her dimples as she hugged him tightly by the thigh "I'll see you next time" she said, for which Klaus couldn't help but gave her a nod before Klaus could say anything .Nick moved towards them holding Rumi arms pulling her away from Klaus thighs making everyone look in shock at his actions
"Aunt Katty I want to go home" he said pulling a very confused Rumi and Katherine who followed him…Katherine opened the door for them to go but stopped when Elijah was right on the other side
"Katerina" he whispered but Katherine scoffed
"Not now Elijah, Not now" she said making Elijah stop before he could get any walked right past him as she held Rumi and Nick hands making their way towards the car.
"What happened?" Rumi asked Katherine as she opened the car door for Rumi and Nick.
"Nothing that your pretty little head should worry about" Katherine said giving them a smile as she closed the door making her way towards driver's seat.
Nick looked at Aunt Katherine watching how she sat on the driver's seat starting the engine as they all made their way towards their house.
He could see her biting her lips nervously the same way mom does. Nick started thinking that maybe he was too close to find out whether Klaus was his father or not, and for that he just needed to find out why Aunt Katherine hate Klaus.
His thoughts were interrupted when he felt Rumi tugging his arms making him look at her
"You think Klaus will be fine?" Rumi asked.
"Why are you thinking about him?"Nick asked not liking the fact that his sister was getting close to Klaus.
"I think he's nice" Rumi said smiling at him but Nick just scoffed at her
"Stay away from him" Nick warned as he turned to look outside the window.
"Why..?" she asked
"Because I said so" Nick said
"I won't listen to you" she argued
"You have too because I'm your brother" he said. Rumi narrowed her eyes at him
"I'm your sister too so you have to listen to me" Rumi said crossing her arms as she raised her chin higher. Nick tapped her head
"Yes you're my sister, but I'm your big brother so you have to listen to me" he said
"Who said you're older..?" Rumi snapped making Nick smirk.
"Everyone knows that you're little" Nick said making Rumi angry
"Aunt Katty, tell him that I'm not a little girl" Rumi said in a loud voice making Katherine roll his eyes
"Can you guys please not involve me in your fight..? Because you know I can't do favoritism" Katherine said making Rumi as well as Nick pout in protest as they crossed their arms.
Before they could say anything Katherine parked the car and got out of the car opening the kids' soon as the door was opened the kids ran inside the house.
"Ahhhhh atlast my kids are back" Stefan said as he switched off the T.V turning his head looking at the kids who entered the house; the kids giggled and ran into their Uncle's arms.
"I was wondering whether you guys were going to return or not" Stefan said kissing Rumi and Nicks foreheads.
"You know Uncle Stefan we love you and will always come back to you" Nick said smiling at Stefan.
"Yes, and you know that every morning I like to see your vampire teeth" Rumi said touching Stefan pointed teeth with her finger.. Stefan acted to bite her finger but she snatched her hand away sharing a laughter..Katherine came inside the hall closing the front door...she saw Stefan Rumi and Nick sitting on couch as they talked with each other..She didn't knew how long this happiness is going to stay.. When the kids were born they all were happily living in their world.. Not caring about Klaus or anyone else but themself.. She just hoped that they will stay happy forever without Klaus.. And hoped that Klaus would leave before Caroline came back..so that she shouldn't see him or at least he shouldn't realize that Rumi and Nick are his kids
Katherine kept looking at them watching all the interaction with an smile but there was an pain fear in that smile hiding too..she didn't wanted Klaus to ruin the family which they had build for this past 4 years.. she didn't wanted Klaus to hurt Caroline yet again and now not only her but the Childs too.. Katherine interrupted kids talks
"Why don't you guys go to your play room while me and uncle Stefan will make something for lunch" Katherine said interrupted their talk.. kids nodded at her..Rumi kissed Stefan cheeks and ran upstairs while Nick waited
"Can you make pancake. I want pancakes..?" Nick requested tapping his stomach.. Katherine made her way towards Nick and kissed his forehead
"Ofcourse buddy" she said brushing his hair "anything for you" she added making Nick smiled.. he waved at her and Stefan before running upstairs.. stefan looked at the way they went a smile on his face but it was vanished when he turned watching Katherine looking at him seriously..
"What..?" Stefan asked as he narrow his eyes.. "Is everything okay..?" Stefan asked.. Katherine shook her head and tried to say something but every time she would just end up closing her mouth..it was like her words were not ready to came out they were stuck in her throat ...she looked at him instead of saying anything she launched herself at him hugging him as he hugged her back..
"Hey... is everything okay..? Did something happen..?" He asked wrapping his arms around her tightly.. Katherine shook her head at him..she slowly backed away looking at him her eyes were red and fluffy ...
"He is back" she said making him look at her in confusion...he was about to ask her who she was talking about but stop when he saw fear in her eyes.. fear and pain which she felt 4years ago only because of one person who hurted their Caroline, his eyes got widen
"Please don't tell me 'he' refers to the one I'm thinking he is..?" He asked for which she just nodded.. Stefan closed his eyes slowly sitting on the couch resting his head on his head..He let out a growl in anger
"Why after all this years..? Why now..?" He asked rubbing his face in frustration.. Katherine shook her head
"Why now, when everything was going perfect..? Why now when we were living like a family" Stefan said shaking his head not understanding everything at all
"I don't know" Katherine said as she sat besides Stefan resting her hand on his shoulder giving it a squeeze "but strange thing was he was shock too when he saw me..." Katherine said making Stefan look at her curiously "Yea, as if he was surprise to see me there at first place" Katherine explained, Stefan nodded slowly
"Maybe he thought that we stopped talking to his family when he left..?" Stefan said "and that's why he was shocked to see you" he added shrugging his shoulder..Katherine gave him a nod understanding slowly what he was saying but before she could reply , Stefan stood fast his eyes widen in shock making Katherine stand in fear too
"Oh my God all this time the kids were with Klaus.. did he knows.? Did they know..?"Stefan asked in fear as he move his hands in his hair in nervousness.. Katherine shook her head at him
"I don't think so because if he would have known then he will be here right now fight with us.. And I'm sure the kids doesn't know either.. " Katherine said watching how Stefan shoulder relax a little bit at this news..
"Stefan, Rebekah and Kol may be Klaus family but they won't betray us like that.. I'm pretty sure they won't let Klaus know who Rumi and Nick is" Katherine said as she kept her hand on Stefan shoulder making him sit.. Stefan sat beside her rubbing his face with his hand
"It's not that I don't trust them, I do Katherine" Stefan said "It's just, how long do you think this is going to be secret..?" Stefan said making Katherine froze at his words "How long are they going to keep hiding the truth from Klaus..? most important what if Rumi and Nick by mistake told him ever that they are Caroline kids..?" Stefan said giving all the possibilities of Klaus getting to know about the kids.. Katherine slowly removed her hand from Stefan shoulder thinking about everything he just said, she knew whatever he said was true what if something like this happens..
"There are chances of kids might telling him about Caroline." Katherine whispered remembering how close Rumi and Klaus interaction was before.. Stefan looked at her
"What do you mean..?" he asked "did they talk..?" Stefan asked shaking Katherine shoulder a little to break her thoughts.. she looked at him nodding her head
"Yea... Rumi, she was-"Katherine tried saying but stopped "she.. She was hugging Klaus... and he was pretty good to her" Katherine said making Stefan shock
"Katherine, tell me everything at one time instead of giving me heart attack after five five minutes" Stefan groaned as he recover from his shock making Katherine let out a giggle but she stopped smiling when Stefan gave her I'm-Serious look..
"Well, I don't know exactly how they became so close in one night but i can tell you that as much as Rumi like Klaus is the same amount Nick hates him i guess " Katherine added making Stefan looked at him with eyebrow raised
"Hate..? You mean Nick hate him..? Our Nick hate him..? The same Nick who has obtained his mother Forgiven nature..?" Stefan asked making Katherine roll her eyes
"Yes the same nick" she answered
"That's not possible, how can you say that..?" he asked still not getting around the fact that Nick can hate someone
"He was actually angry when he saw Rumi hugging Klaus, even he and Rumi were kinda arguing in the car for which they thought I was not listening" Katherine scoffed "but they forgot that I got big ears" Katherine smirkle pointing at her ears " I heard Nick telling Rumi to stay away from him" Katherine said her soften a bit.. Stefan silently nodded at her taking all the bombs she decided to throw at him
"I think i have to talk to Nick about it then.." Stefan said as he stood making his way towards kitchen "come on let's make them something to eat before they make their way down" Stefan added .. Katherine pouted thinking about cooking but eventually stood following Stefan
"So exactly how did you react when you saw Klaus..?" Stefan asked as he entered the kitchen, he made his way towards the cabinets were all the kitchen material was kept..Katherine shrugs her shoulder
"He was like "hello Katherine, it's been a while" Katherine said using british accent which made Stefan smirkle..
"So what you did then..?" he asked wondering what might have been her reply
"Oh nothing" she said innocently making Stefan look at her with his eyebrow raised
"What..? i seriously didn't say anything" she said shrugging her shoulder as she and Stefan started making pancakes.. Katherine took the chocolate sauce that was on the table and press the bottle until the sauce was on her finger...she linked her finger and murmured
"But I did something" she said softly making Stefan look at her.. he took the sauce bottle from her hand keeping in on the table
"Okay Katherine enough of your innocence act" he said making Katherine pout
"I'm innocent Stefan, how can you say that it's an act.." she said keeping her hand on her heart faking hurt.. Stefan rolls his eyes
"Katherine" he warned
"Okay .. I didn't said anything in return when he talked instead I kicked his dick pretty hard" Katherine said making Stefan look at her.. "What ..? I didn't get to take my revenge on him after whatever he did to Care" she explained shrugging her shoulder..
"Did I do right.? Or I did right." Katherine asked smiling at him cloyingly.. Stefan shakes his head at her
"Katherine Gilbert aren't you quite a little Mischievous.." he said tapping her nose with his finger as he started mixing the ingredient for pancakes
"ahh Mischievous mean playful and annoying.. " Katherine said humming a bit as she kept her arms on Stefan shoulder "at least it's much better then been brooding" she said poking Stefan with her elbows .. Stefan scoffed at her
"Will you and Care ever going to stop calling me broody?" Stefan asked looking at her while she kept the pancakes in the oven.. she turned around looking at him with widen smile
"Nope never ever broody Stefan" she said..
"By the way.. Your British accent is good huh.." Stefan said remembering her mocking Klaus.. Katherine grinned
"I know" she winkle at him..
"So is this something you learned from someone named Uncle suit..?" Stefan teased elbowing her slightly... Katherine stopped grinning as she ignored what he said
"I don't know what you're talking about" she said ignoring him completely
"Katherine" Stefan called touching her arms slowly but she only flinched at his touch
"Can we please not talk about Elijah..?" Katherine requested looking at Stefan ..Stefan opened his mouth to argue but the hurt and pain in her eyes made him stop. He nodded
"Can you just go and call the kids..?" she said as she went towards the cabinet to take some plates as she started placing them on table, Stefan nodded kissing her forehead before he went out of the kitchen.. Katherine sign as soon as Stefan went.. she wiped away the tear that was about to fall from her eye
"Come on Katherine Gilbert.. You're not weak" she said to herself wiping the tears away..
Elijah looked at the way Katerina went holding the kids hands and as usual ignoring him.. He knew they weren't on speaking terms but now he was damn sure that after seeing Klaus, Katherine is never going to see his face either.. he slowly made his way inside watching Kol and Bekah standing with shamefaced while Klaus was pretty glowering.. before Elijah even closed the door completely behind him. Klaus moved towards him snarling
"You keep your fiancé in control" Klaus hissed at him but before Elijah could say anything Rebekah pulled Klaus arms turning him to look at her
"Nik.." Rebekah snapped "don't you dare talk to Elijah like that.. when everything happened was because of you" she hissed making her way towards him..
"Like people say.. It's Karma Bitch" Kol said crossing his arms over his chest as he smirkle at Klaus.. Klaus looked at him
"Don't you dare talk to me like that" Klaus warned pointing his finger at him
"Why..? your allowed to talk to Elijah who is older then you and also the same Elijah who had always taken your side whether your wrong or right.." Rebekah said "whatever Katherine did to you it was because you were worth it" she yelled at him "you deserve the pain she gave you.. You fucking deserve it" she yelled poking his chest in anger.. Kol moved forward pulling Bekah away from Klaus as Elijah stood between them. Everyone stare at her with slack-jawed clearly surprised by her anger.. Klaus looked at her in shock because this was not his Rebekah, it's not the same Rebekah who always took his side, not the Rebekah who never raised her voice at him.. Klaus moved forward but stopped when Elijah kept his hands on his shoulder before he could take any further steps towards Bekah.. Elijah knew how aggressive Klaus as well as Bekah can be after all they are sister and brother.. but right now he had never seen Rebekah so angry..Elijah knew she was taking out all the frustration she felt for this four years which she infact never shared with him or Kol
"What happened to my sister ..?" Klaus asked looking at her in pained, Rebekah eyes soften a bit at his comment, her shoulder got relax..Tears started forming in her eyes as she looked at him
"She died the day her brother decided to leave her" she said a silent tear fell down her face..Klaus glazed at her still not believing his ears what they were hearing..
"Bekah" he whispered taking steps towards her to touch her arms but she back away from his touch making me stop..
"You lost every right to call me Bekah, Niklaus" Rebekah said shaking her head at him disappointingly. Klaus heart stop beating when he heard Rebekah call him Niklaus.. Rebekah looked at him for the last time wiping away the tears as she turned to make her way upstairs.. She was about to take her first step when Klaus voice stop her
"It's all because of her, isn't it..?" Klaus asked Rebekah who was making her way towards stairs..He saw how she stop near the steps at his voice..She slowly turned to look at him
"It's all because of Caroline isn't it..? Just because I left her..?" Klaus asked her again slowly making his way to stand in front of her
"Look right into my eyes and say it to me" he yelled at her making her flinched at his loud voice..
"Niklaus" Elijah yelled at him pushing him away from Rebekah before he decided to do something he might regret later..
"Yes" Kol yelled at him instead of Rebekah
"Yes we hate you for what you did with Caroline Nik.." Kol said looking at his brother with hatred.. "How could you..? for three years you stayed in relationship with her only for some stupid bet..?" he asked
"Whatever happened between me and Caroline is our business.. you should have stayed away from it" Klaus yelled at them .. Rebekah laughed bitterly making Klaus look at her
"It wasn't your business Niklaus, it was our too" she said watching how Klaus closed his eyes signing in when she called him Niklaus yet again... "Caroline was like our sister like a family to me, how could you do something like that to her..?" she said..
"So her been your family is more important than me huh..?" Klaus said "that you guys prefer her over me" Klaus said raising his eyebrow at her
"She was important and she still is important.. not just because she was your girlfriend but because she was my best friend, my sister " she snapped "and not to forget the girl who was carrying you child" she hissed.. Klaus closed his eyes at the mention of Caroline been pregnant
"was carrying Rebekah" Klaus said "was.. she WAS carrying my child" Klaus said making everyone looked at him in shock... apart of them thought that he would regret a slight a bit about telling Caroline to abort but they were wrong..
"She isn't carrying my child anymore, so I don't have anything to worry about" Klaus said shrugging his shoulder.. Rebekah was about to yell at him telling him that he was wrong but Elijah who was standing behind Niklaus made her stop before she could revealed about his kids..
"You don't even regret slight a bit that you actually told Caroline to abort the child..? to actually killed them..?" Kol asked him as he slowly recollected everything Klaus said
"I didn't loved her Kol, why would I want to be with her when I wasn't interested" Klaus said looking straight at him
"But the child were innocent Nik, they didn't deserve this" Kol yelled at him..making Klaus snapped
"I know, they didn't deserve this that's the reason I told her to abort her"
"You didn't told her.. You ran away like an coward" Rebekah hissed pushing him back "you fucking ran away when doctor told you that you're going to became a father.." Rebekah said , Klaus raised his hands to stop her but she kept on talking "father was right.. your just a coward, and you just proved him right" Rebekah hissed..
"Rebekah" Klaus yelled raising his hands to slap her..Rebekah immediately closed her eyes ready to feel the slap but it never came..she slowly opened her eyes and saw Klaus hand was few inches away from her face..
"I know you Nik. And this isn't you" she said softly watching how Klaus slowly removed his hand and backed away from her "the Nik I know he wouldn't have done something like this" she said "you're still my Nik and by not slapping me you proved it, I want my Nik back who isn't ready to came out of this Niklaus" she said reaching out to hold his hand "I know that deep inside you still cared for Caroline , you did loved her Nik"
"Love is greatest weakness Rebekah" Klaus replied , as he avoided looking at her
"And by loving Caroline you were becoming weak" Kol answered his eyes widen at the news he just digest..
"I'm not weak.. and I'm not coward" he yelled " I didn't wanted Caroline to have kids who are been raised by a father like me.. I didn't wanted to be like Mikael " he yelled at them making everyone shock at his confession "I was not ready for it" he yelled.. Elijah shake his head at Klaus confession, Elijah knew how Niklaus felt but he never actually believed that Klaus would choose his father words over his Childs.. Rebekah shakes her head at him
"You just proved father right" she said
"last time I checked he wasn't my father" Klaus snarl ..
"He may not be your father but he still raised you Nik" she explained "and you just proved that you're not better than him" Rebekah said bitterly making Klaus breath flinch ..she turned running upstairs to her room.
"I don't know whether I should call you my brother anymore or not" Kol said shaking his head in sadness before following Rebekah upstairs.. Klaus looked at the way his siblings went insulting him, making him feel guilty
"Is there anything you will like to add?" Klaus said without looking at Elijah.. Elijah lips started forming a small smile.. he moved to stand in front of Klaus
"Niklaus, as a big brother I'll always stand by your side..but that doesn't mean that I won't make you realize what wrong you did" he said keeping his hand on Klaus shoulder
"I know that even if you were in relationship with Caroline for an bet, it was all lie but between this lies you started falling for her.. we all had seen the changes she brought in you Niklaus" Klaus mouth his opened but Elijah stopped him "let me complete Niklaus" Elijah warned, Klaus sign but gave him a nod "Somehow in all this lies you started liking Caroline that's what made you scared.. you were becoming weak, and Caroline been pregnant added more fuel to your weakness" he added making Klaus looked at him with sadness " I know that you weren't ready to face what you feel for Caroline and not to add also accept the fact that you were going to be a father.. because you didn't wanted to be like Mikael" he said squeezing Klaus shoulder
"But Niklaus, as a big brother you should have talked to me or talked to Caroline about it..Because what you did was something unpleasant and unforgivable.." Elijah said quite harshly "We know that you were sacred but running away from it just made you selfish " Elijah said watching how Klaus closed his eyes trying not to let Elijah words hurt him " I have to agree with what Rebekah said.. you indeed proved our father right by been an coward" he added making Klaus looked at him with pain and hurt "running away because you were not ready for child was you been selfish and coward Niklaus.. and that's not my brother, that's not the brother I raised" Elijah said patting his shoulder turning away to make his way upstairs... he stopped walking when Klaus voice stop him
"I won't deny the fact that I started feeling something for Caroline which I shouldn't have, but I just know one thing for sure that it scared the hell out of me.."Klaus confessed..Elijah stop on the stairs a smile started forming on his lips at Klaus confession. Elijah was happy that Klaus couldn't see him smiling " I don't hate her like the way I show it.." Klaus added " but I was not ready for child Elijah.. I don't think I ever will, especially not after everything happened with Mikael and after Henrick" Klaus added quiet harshly.. the smile from Elijah face was vanished as soon as Klaus words fell into his ears.. he closed his and turned around
" I said what I wanted.. but making you feel regret for telling Caroline to abort is something you should feel by your own Niklaus, because you were the father.. But I can see why you weren't ready, I accept your pain too but that doesn't mean I had forgive you" Elijah said placing his hands in his pockets " I hope Niklaus that you will came to your senses when you will stop acting like an coward and will accept the fact that how stupid and regretful decision it was of yours" he added "because everyone isn't lucky enough to get second chances" he said softly his own eyes filled with a lot of emotions that he wasn't able to control.. Klaus looked confuse at Elijah last words not really understanding what he happened by it.. he could see pain, hurt and regret in Elijah's voice too..
"What happened between you and Katherine, Elijah..?" he asked interrupting Elijah thoughts.. Elijah shakes his head turning back making his way upstairs
"She is not my fiancée anymore" Elijah whispered in pain.. Klaus looked shock at Elijah words as he watched him getting disappear.. He knew Katherine and Elijah loved each other for then anything..
"What the hell happened in this four years" Klaus whispered to himself as he too made his way towards his room..he slowly made his way inside and locked the door to keep himself in privacy like always.. he made his way towards side table .. he pick out the one thing he always like to do and see.. he looked at it and smiled in pain
"I miss you, I miss you more than anything, and I just wish I could say that to you but I can't" he whispered his hands slowly brushing over the face of the Caroline smiling photo
