Drunk Klaus Is Very Very Bad Klaus
"It's so touching to see my family bonding with each other" Klaus said while taking a sip from the bottle, as he slowly started walking towards them "But it hurts to see that I wasn't invited" Klaus said, Rebekah opened her mouth to speak but Klaus interrupted her "Right my bad, how could I forget that I stopped being the member of the family when I left" Klaus said
"Nik this isn't true , you know that will still love you even when we aren't ready to show it " Rebekah said softly as she saw how hurt Klaus was, she knew what Klaus did was wrong, but still she couldn't forget the fact that at the end he was still her brother, that brother who always stood by her side, that brother who took care of her when she was scared to sleep at night, they may have hate and love relationship but at the end Rebekah love for her brother was stronger than hate. Rebekah didn't forgive Klaus for what he did to Caroline, because that wasn't her situation to forgive but she only forgive him for what he did to them, to their family by leaving for four years and never returning until now, Rebekah was angry because he never even thought about calling them, explaining to them what made him leave, it hurted her to think that maybe Klaus thought his family weren't important enough for him to share his problems, or that they didn't mattered to him at all that
"So calling me Nik again then..?" Klaus asked as he started taking steps towards Rebekah "I thought your brother Nik died when he left you here four years ago" Klaus said standing in front of his sister
"Nik, Klaus, Niklaus or whatever i may call you, it will never change the fact that your still my brother, all three of you are still the same" Rebekah said as she tried to touch his cheeks, but Klaus let out a scoff and backed away from her touch making Rebekah drop her hands in hurt
"Niklaus, like I said before they are your brother and sister, we are family, we stick together no matter what" Elijah stated keeping his hand on Klaus shoulder to show his support
"Speak for you guys, but I don't think I'll forgive him" Kol said , for a moment everyone had forgotten the fact that he was also present in there, because he hadn't said anything until now , Kol looked at his family he could see how easily Rebekah had forgiven her brother , but it didn't surprised him because he knew among them their sister was always close to Klaus and no matter what he did ,Rebekah could always have a heart reserved for Klaus to forgive, as for Elijah , Kol knew that Elijah was always noble enough to give his sibling a chance just so that they could be family again, it wasn't that Kol blamed him, infact there are moments when Kol often think about it, think about their family being together , but the difference between Elijah and Kol was that Kol isn't noble enough to forgive his brother, Kol knew that Elijah and Rebekah haven't forgiven Klaus for what he did to Caroline , they have forgiven him for what he did to THEM, leaving his family
"Kol" Elijah tried to speak but Kol interrupted
"No Elijah... You may have forgiven him but I can't " Kol said as he went near them.. Stopping next to Rebekah who was looking at him, she tried to speak to him but he shook his head in hurt "I'm sorry Rebekah but I can't forgive him for what he did, and before you say anything Nik, let me tell you me not forgiving you is nothing to do with Caroline" Kol added when he saw Klaus trying to interrupted, Kol knew what Nik was thinking, he knew his brother well enough to understand what was going on his mind, Klaus narrow his eyes at his brother
"Well if it not for Caroline then what would be the real reason that you aren't even ready to give me a chance, so at least look at me for more then 10 minutes " Klaus said as he looked at his brother "Is you hatred towards me so strong that you wont even look at your brother or even stay in the room same as me, if it's not for Caroline then tell me what the real reason is that is making my younger brother hate me so " Klaus whispered softly making Kol look at him, Kol shook his head slightly as his stared at Klaus
"Nik, you don't understand or you're not even trying to understand, because in your mind all you can think about is that only reason we aren't talking to you, or only reason I'm angry on you is because of what you did to Caroline, when it's not " Kol said "Yes , I was angry for what you did to Caroline because she didn't deserve any of this Nik, she was like a sister to me, and you broke her beyond repair, but that wasn't the only reason "Kol said
"Then what is ?" Klaus asked softly, making Kol chuckled in shame
"You still don't get it do you..?" Kol asked making Klaus look at him in confuse "You still haven't understood the fact that why you leaving us was such a big deal, have you not..?" Kol asked again
"It's shame you know, that for past four years we tried to understand why you left us, tried to make enough reasoning to forgive you ,tried everything we can just so we will always be able to forgive you when you returned , for you, only for you Nik, for all this years when you left us, all we did was wait for you, waiting for that moment when our family will be together as it was before, when you my dear brother on the other hand don't even have a clue what you did" Kol said sadly as his eyes filled with tears, Rebekah moved towards him trying to touch his arm for comfort but he moved back shaking his head at her, Elijah stayed quiet throughout the conversation because at that moment Elijah came to realize that for this past years he wasn't the only brother who hide his feeling from the family, Kol also managed to hide his feeling behind his jokes and childish nature.
Klaus stared at Kol, he didn't knew what to say or think, yes he knew Kol was right that he didn't have any clue what wrong he did when he left his family, because when he did only thing on his mind was Caroline and the fact that he was going to be father, he never ever thought for a second how much it could affect his family, when he left them all he knew was Elijah would handle the situation, or they would understand that he needed time
"I left because I needed time, I needed time to understand the situation, to give myself a break, I though you would understand" Klaus tried to reasoned
"then you should have come to us Nik, trying to make us understand" Rebekah said "instead of running away and leaving us, you could have come to us, talked to us, we were your family, we would have tried to understand you" Rebekah whispered as tears fell down her cheeks, Kol shake his head slightly at Rebekah words , as he looked at Klaus
"You know why it is so hard for me to forgive you..?" Kol asked Klaus making him look at Kol "because the reason I'm not forgiving you yet, has already forgiven you" Kol stated making Klaus look at Kol in confusion
"I don't understand" Klaus asked
"Yes you don't and that's the problem" Kol said "now what you see is your sister standing in front of you keeping her heart on her hand for you to take it back, showing you that she has already forgiven you, while from where I'm standing all I could see is the girl who is standing with her broken heart in her hand ,only because she thinks you're the only one who can fixed it" Kol whispered making Klaus flinch at his words, Rebekah let out a sob at Kol words, Elijah wrapped his arm around Rebekah as she started sobbing at Kol words, she knew what he was trying to say, what topic he was going to bring up just to make Klaus realized what his absence did for past years
"Kol. Don't" Elijah hissed in anger trying to make Kol stop but Kol ignored him
"I'm sorry Elijah but I can't let him think that we were having our days of our lives when he left us " Kol replied "You and me aren't Rebekah only brothers Elijah, he is too, He needs to know his responsibilities too which he left to us when he ran away, he needs to know what his absence did to us, to her" Kol said pointing his finger at Rebekah who was sobbing his Elijah arms
Klaus looked at Rebekah who was sobbing in Elijah arms, never in his life he saw her so broken, so weak that it made Klaus flinch at her each and every sob.. He wanted to know everything, because he wanted to be punished for leaving them
"Tell me "Klaus said to Kol while he kept looking at Rebekah "Tell me.. I want to know everything, Tell me each and everything" Klaus order Kol making Rebekah flinch
"Kol don't please" Rebekah begged
"What do you want to know..?" Kol snarled "do you want to know how Rebekah cried each and every night for you, yelling at night, arguing with her own nightmares that her brother would be back to save her.?" Kol said making Klaus looked at him "Or do you want to know how she slept in your room because it was only the thing that would make her happy because it belonged to you " Kol said making Klaus flinch "or do you want to know how she stopped going out of her room without foods and water which made her so weak that she was hospitalized for weeks" Kol added
"You know what the worst part was?" Kol said "she tried to kill herself because she was not able to handle her nightmares" Kol said as tears fell down his cheeks, Rebekah sobbed harder making Elijah hold her closer
"What..?" Klaus asked Kol , as tears started to fell down his own cheeks
"Yes Nik, she tried to kill herself because her brother wasn't there to protect her, it didn't matter to her whether I or Elijah was there, and all she needed was you" Kol said
"After you left, her nightmares of the night Henrick died started again, and you leaving her too didn't help her much" Elijah said as he brushed Rebekah hairs softly trying to calm her down. "she started having panic attacks making her hard to breath" Elijah stated trying his best to control his tears
"for almost a year and half she was going through a lot Niklaus" Elijah stated looking at Klaus, who was looking at them "but at the end she was helped by someone " Elijah said making Klaus look at her in confusion "let's just say that Rebekah wasn't the only one who was going through a lot Niklaus" Elijah stated sadly, Klaus looked at him in confusion, He didn't understand about whom he was talking about , other than their family Elijah never cared enough for anyone else except Katherine , Klaus knew that Katherine won't be affect as much as Rebekah had, and other then Katherine the only person Elijah showed care towards was... Caroline.. Klaus eyes widen when he realized what Elijah was saying
"Caroline..?" Klaus asked and when Elijah gave him a sad glare with a nod, It was confirmed that he was talking about Caroline only
"Yes Nik" Kol said "Caroline was also going through a lot when you left, and it didn't helped the fact that she was -" Kol was about to talk about pregnancy when he was interrupted
"KOL" Elijah and Rebekah yelled making Kol stopped, it was then Kol eyes got widen in realization that he was about to talk about the children in front of Klaus
"The fact that she was pregnant with twins, and the stress didn't help her much even when she delivered the babies" Klaus continued what Kol wanted to say making everyone look at him in shock, all of them look at him with surprise , and shock
"how did you-" Rebekah started saying but Klaus interrupted
"The fact that my family hide the truth that Caroline never aborted the child and now is having twins who are named as Rumi and Nick" Klaus asked them "that's what you wanted to ask right..?" Klaus asked a bit louder making Rebekah flinch in fear
"Nik we-" Rebekah started to explain but was interrupted yet again
"Yes we hide from you Nik, but I don't think you have any rights to blame us when you were the one who wanted nothing to do the child's" Kol snapped at him
"Yes I know, and that's why I have every rights to know why she didn't abort them, when i told her to" Klaus snapped back as he moved towards
Kol in anger..
"Maybe because she isn't you" Kol snapped back making Klaus stop "She didn't wanted to hurt her children because of you, she didn't wanted to punish them because of what their father did, she didn't wanted her children to get punished exactly same how you punished her because of what your father did to you" Kol yelled making everyone flinch
"Kol" Elijah and Rebekah whispered looking at him with shame, they didn't like the fact that he used Klaus relationship with their father to get back at him
"Don't give me that look Elijah and Bekah , when deep inside your heart you guys know what i said was the truth" Kol whispered "I don't care how much the truth hurts him, because it is nothing compared to the hurt that we felt for this years" Kol whispered staring darkly at Klaus in anger "nothing compared to the hurt Caroline felt when she was trying to raised two children who started asking her about their father as soon as they knew what the word father meant" Kol stated , and saw how Klaus closed his eyes in hurt when him being a father was mentioned
"You should have stayed" Rebekah interrupted "you should have talked to us, we would have helped you out Nik" Rebekah said moving towards her brother , making Klaus flinch at her proximity , Klaus looked at her with hurt, tears filled his eyes
"You wouldn't have understand" Klaus replied
"It wasn't your decision to make Niklaus, whether we would have handle the situation or not" Elijah said moving towards Klaus and he kept his hand on Rebekah shoulder standing beside her, Kol stood silent, not wanting to interrupt them when Nik was trying to open himself up
"You would have understand..?" Klaus asked looking at Elijah,, Elijah nodded but Klaus ignored him and looked at Rebekah "I could see hatred in your eyes Rebekah , when you saw what I did to Caroline, and you say you would have understood" Klaus added "you think you would have but it isn't the truth Rebekah, you hated me then and you hate me more now" He added "after everything I did to you, to you all, I can't accept the fact that you won't hate me now, I left you guys because of my own selfishness, I left my Family behind" he said looking at them with broken heart "and when I left I never thought for once how much it would have affected you guys, only if I could have thought about you guys, if only I could have talked to you guys, if only I can take back what i did, the family right now wouldn't have been so broken" he whispered tears falling down his face.. Rebekah reached towards him as she rested her hand on his cheeks and she stroke them wiping away he tears
"My hatred for you is nothing compared to my love for you Nik" Rebekah whispered "if you would have come to us, we would have talked, tried to make the situation better for you, for our family" She added "even for Caroline"
Klaus shake his head "It's too late now"
"It is" Kol stated with toneless voice "we may have forgiven you for what you did to us but that doesn't mean you will be happily playing your father duties Nik" Kol stated making his way towards the main door as he slammed it behind him on his way out
"Did he said "we may have forgiven you"?" Klaus asked Rebekah and Elijah, who gave them nod as his answer with a small smile
"Yes you heard what he said, he forgive you" Elijah said and he saw a small smile started to form on
Klaus lips "But you also heard what he said next that it doesn't make your relationship better with Caroline and with the kids Klaus" he added and saw Rebekah nodding her head in agreement making Klaus lose his smile at once, Klaus breath heavily before replying to Elijah and Rebekah
"I know, she made it pretty clear to me earlier that I don't have any right in her kids life now as a father" Klaus stated making his sibling look at him
"You met Caroline..?" Rebekah asked her eyes widen in surprise
"That's how you know about the kids..?" Elijah asked at the same time
Klaus nod his head at them answering both of the questions
"Tell us everything" Rebekah ordered, Klaus took a deep breath as he went near the end of the hall where they keep their drinks
"Well if I have to explain you guys what had happened, then we need something stronger for us to drink " Klaus replied holding the drinks bottle in his hand

And I want to explain it to you guys before you judge me that yes what Klaus did to Caroline was wrong and unacceptable, but it was in between Klaus and Caroline, the Mikaelsons can't hold the grudge against Klaus for too long, yes they forgive him but only for what he did to them, but not for Caroline
and trust me Caroline won't be so forgiving towards Klaus
