Chapter 11 - Is It Too Late Now To Feel Regrets.?
"Good Morning" Caroline smiled entering the kitchen, she saw Katherine making breakfast especially pancakes which the kids adore the most. After their talk at the night, Caroline went to sleep in Rumi and Nick room she missed them when she went away. When she woke up , first thing she did was smile because at the night Rumi might have woken up because now she was sleeping besides her mother, her arms around Caroline waist and one leg spread on her thigh and other under the blanket, Caroline slowly removed her daughter arm and leg kissing her daughter forehead and slowing leaning towards Nick who was besides Rumi sleeping kissing his forehead too before she left the bed to her own bedroom, She quickly had a bath and decided to make some breakfast for everyone , but entering the kitchen she saw Katherine was already done with breakfast
"Pancakes again...?" Caroline asked raising her eyebrow, for which Katherine scoff
"That's the only thing I can make" She replied making Caroline giggle, Caroline moved past her towards the cabinets to get the cups and then stood beside Katherine kissing her temple.
"It's the only thing you can make because it's the only thing you wanted to learn, so that the kids doesn't have to cry for the midnight snacks" Caroline replied smiling softly at Katherine
"That might be the reason too" Katherine murmured smiling softly at Caroline
"Where is Stefan..?" Caroline asked as she started making coffee for Katherine and her.
"Morning walk" Katherine replied, making Caroline raised her eyebrows..
"Woods..?" she asked making Katherine laugh
"Where else would he be..?" she said making Caroline shake her head is disbelieve.
"I still don't understand why he doesn't move on already" Caroline growled, "I mean Elena moved on, then why should Stefan be the one suffering with his life" she added, Katherine shake her head at Caroline
"It's Stefan Caroline, what do you expect.?" she asked "He loved her more than anything , and I do think he moved on but what he doesn't want to forget is what Elena did to him" Katherine said, as they made their way towards living room.
"You mean he wants to remember what Elena did to him as a punishment..?" Caroline asked in surprised yet shocked tone.. Katherine nodded
"punishment for loving Elena so much that she had the rights to hurt him the way she did" Katherine said "I mean, at least I think that this might be the reason" Katherine added making herself comfortable on the couch patted the seat beside her for Caroline, Caroline sat beside her sipping her Coffee as she thought about what Katherine
"He doesn't deserve this" Katherine whispered, Caroline shake her head a little at her words
"I don't know any more Katherine, this past years everyone has gone through something that they doesn't deserve" Caroline stated "Even if it did hurt us, at the end it made us all immune to the pain we might face further" She added smiling at her friend
"Yea, at least now we know what to expect from the world" Katherine said scoffing a bit "fairy tales ending doesn't happen in this world" she added
"At least not in our world" Caroline replied softly as she shared a look with Katherine..
"Did aunt Katty made pancakes..?" A voice said making them look at the intruder, there stood Rumi at the end of the stairs in her teddy bear pj's rubbing her eyes, Katherine and Caroline smiled at her
"Of course she did, she always makes them" Nick said standing besides Rumi as he spoke, his eyes turned to Caroline giving her a wide smile as he ran towards her..
"Good morning momma" He grinned hugging her knees, Caroline smiled brightly at him, brushing his hairs
"Good morning baby" she replied kissing his forehead, Rumi interrupted them by scoffing, they turned to look at her, she stood there arms crossed around her chest, pouting at them
"What is it sweetie..?" Caroline asked looking at Rumi
"Why does Nick have to always be the one to say good morning to you first" She stomp her foot in frustration the habit she took from her mother, Katherine grinned exactly knowing where the conversation was going to lead . It was like a every morning routine, Rumi and Nick argument on who sits on Caroline lap, Nick shook his head as he poke Caroline knee making her look at him, he raised his arms silently telling her to pick him up , and she did making him sit beside her while his legs resting on her thighs
"and why he is the always sitting on your lap" Rumi said making everyone look at her again, she pouted sadly at them, Caroline rolled her eyes but yet smiled at her daughter raising her arms for Rumi, silently telling her to come, Rumi pout suddenly turned into a wide smile as she ran towards her mother , let out a laugh as she felt her mother picking her up and squeezing her and her brother together in her arms, The children yelp in surprise when Katherine and Caroline started tickling them both..
"nooo nooo stoppp pleasheeee" Rumi choked out trying to move her mother arms while Nick did the same. Caroline and Katherine stopped tickling , Katherine pickup Rumi in her arms making her way towards the kitchen
"Let's have some pancakes now" Katherine told Rumi making her clap her hands in excitement, Caroline shook her head laughing at them, no matter how many times Katherine made pancakes it always make Rumi excited, Caroline turned her head to look at Nick who sitting on her lap indeed staring at her too
"What..?" She asked brushing away his blond flicks, he shook his head and hugged his mother tightly making her surprise
"I missed you mommy" He whispered , Caroline smiled at his words wondering just how much she missed her kids too, she started rubbing his back , as Nick snuggle closer to her making her smile
"I missed you guys more" She whispered kissing his head, they sat like for minutes just enjoying their mother son moment, Caroline chuckled slowly backing away looking at her son
"Come on now, let's eat "Caroline said letting Nick walk towards the kitchen with her following him "Then we have to go to uncle Elijah house for studies" She added which made Nick stop in his way, he turn to look at his mother
"Do we have to go..?" HE asked softly making Caroline surprise
"You don't want to go.?" she asked him , he shook his head "I mean come on Nick it studies we are talking about, you always looking forward to meet Uncle Elijah even if its Sunday" she reasoned making him look at her nervously
"I know but" HE started to say but Caroline interrupted him
"No but" she said "You're going that's final" she added making him pout. She ignored his pout making him turned and slightly pushing him towards kitchen where Katherine and Rumi sat,
"What's with the pouting..?" Katherine asked eating her pancake as she look at Nick face, Caroline rolled her eyes
"Ignore the pout" she replied, she knew if they look at Nick for more than 10seconds, then there are chances that his pout might win today, because it always does, Rumi ignored them as usual as she went to her fairy tale dream world with her pancake plate, Nick sat beside his sister letting Katherine pass him the plate of pancakes, he started eating them ignoring everyone, Katherine raised her eyebrow in question, Caroline shook her head
"HE doesn't want to go to Elijah place for studies" Caroline answered watching how Katherine eyes got widen in on her answer, she mouthed 'what' to her which only made Caroline shrugged her shoulder in a response.
"WHAT" Rumi yelled making everyone look at her in surprise ,it was very rare when Rumi ignore her pancakes like that, Rumi looked at her brother "you don't want to go..?" she asked watching Nick shook his head at her in response, Caroline and Katherine saw how sadness feel her eyes at Nick response
"But I want to go" she stated pouting at Caroline with sadness, Caroline looked at the kids with surprise not sure what was happening, not only Nick who loves studies decided that he didn't want to study today, but also Rumi who hates studies immediately wanted to study now, Katherine placed her palm on Rumi forehead checking whether she had fever or not which made Caroline smile a little , at least she wasn't the only one who was affected by the kids behaviour
"What happened to the Rumi who always pouted when studies was mention..?" Katherine asked Rumi as she tickled her stomach making her giggle
"Nothing" Rumi giggle showing off her dimples
"She wants to see Bekah aunt new brother" Nick scoffed suddenly making everyone look at him, Caroline looked at her son watching how annoyed he looked when he talked about Klaus , and now she could see what Katherine and Stefan were talking about
"I like Klaus, he is nice" Rumi said narrowing her eyes at her brother
"HE is bad" Nick yelled at his sister pushing her away a bit roughly making Caroline eyes widen
"Hey" She yelled making the kids as well as Katherine jump at her voice , Caroline looked at her son pointing her fingers at him
"Never yell at your sister like that, got it mister" She said making Nick look down in shame, he gave his mother a small nod, Katherine held Rumi who started crying, Caroline angered melted when she saw a tear falling down on his son face, she kneeled down to look at his face giving him small smile "Nick baby, she is your sister, you remember what you promised me..?" she asked making her son look at her
"You promised me that you will always be there for her, you will always protect her" Caroline said "you are her brother, you shouldn't yell at her like that, you have to talk to her nicely if you want to make her understand things, yelling doesn't lead to anything" She added "It will only make her cry, and hate you" Caroline said making Nick look at her
"And you don't want that , do you..?" She asked
"No" Nick replied looking at his mother, Katherine held Rumi in her arms who was crying as she stared at them , Caroline gestured for her to come towards them and she did, standing beside her brother she looked at Caroline, Caroline held her kids hands kissing their knuckled before looking at them softly
"You guys should know that brother and sister relationship is the most important relationship ever" She whispered " I was born as a single child you know, I was so alone , always wishing that I could have a brother or sister to play with, until I met your uncle Stefan and aunt Bonnie, Katherine who were and are still my sister and brother" she said giving Katherine a tearful smile which Katherine returned "Yes we fight too, we too yelled at each other , but at the end we understand each other more, we love each other more" Caroline whispered
"You should always remember that there is nothing more important than showing people Forgiveness and Love" she said kissing her kids forehead "IF you guys have a problem with each other than talk to each other, but don't tell the other to stop doing things just because you don't like it, Nick if you don't like something that Rumi does tell her, but don't order her around , in fact instead of forcing her to listen to you, let her do the things which are making her happiness, but you always stay behind her to protect her , stay there protect her, understand her, but don't take away her happiness, and same goes to you Rumi" Caroline stated softly trying her best to make them understand, the both gave their mother a nod kissing her each cheeks , Caroline smiled enveloping them in her arms hugging them tightly
"Hey, don't abandon me" Katherine complained making her ways towards the group,
"Aunt Katty we could never abandon you" Nick said wrapping his small arms around Katherine neck and enveloping them in a group, they all laughed in each other arms
"What did I miss..?" A voice said interrupting their bonding , they turned to look towards the Kitchen door watching Stefan looking at them with a confuse expression
First thing notice when he woke up was silence, it made him wonder where are his siblings ,last night they all slept late because of their discussion, which indeed made him woke up past the noon, he made his way towards living wondering whether he was alone at the house or not, then he saw them sitting in living room each one busy with their own things, Elijah reading newspaper, Rebekah doing her nails while she had face pack on her face which made Klaus roll his eyes, he still couldn't understand why do girls have to put on the face pack I mean he knew his sister was beautiful so using the pack didn't make any sense to Klaus, he then saw Kol who was on his phone probably chatting with someone because Klaus could see him smirking while he typed .. Hearing his footsteps they all turned to look at him, and all smile but then again turned to do things what they were doing making Klaus raised his eyebrow, he sat on the sofa besides Rebekah making her look at him
"What's with the face..?" he asked her, Klaus knew she must be going somewhere and that's the reason all this beauty tips was happening, Rebekah was about to reply but Kol laughter made them look at him, they saw Kol laughing but never looking away from his phone screen
"That's our sister face Nik" Kol stated making Klaus chuckled slightly, "Oucchh" He complained when he felt a pillow hitting his face making his phone drop, Elijah shook his head at them going back to his reading and ignoring whatever conversation his sibling were about to converse
"Shutup you idiot, no one asked you" Rebekah snapped making Kol laugh
"As if I have to wait for something to ask me anything" he stated making Klaus chuckle, his chuckle died when Rebekah turn to look at him
"Don't start Nik" she said making Klaus raised his hands surrender "And to answer to your question, I'm not going anywhere, I was just bored, so thought that might use the free time to try out the products I brought" She replied shrugging her shoulder, Klaus nodded , they heard Kol scoff but they ignored him, Kol turned to look at them when he saw that Rebekah wasn't going to reply for his scoff and was indeed ignoring him he pouted, scoff again trying to gain her attention, Rebekah knew what Kol was trying to do, he wanted her to argue with him, Sometimes Rebekah felt maybe it's Kol job to try pissing her off, but this time she wasn't going to let him so she kept ignoring him , while he scoffed again and again , Elijah looked through his newspaper watching how Kol was scoffing again and again staring at Rebekah, he saw Kol trying to move his hand in front of Rebekah face , moving his legs up and down as if he was doing an exercise, Kol pouted when he saw Rebekah was not even looking at him, infact she wasn't even getting affected by his tactics , Elijah wanted to laugh at Kol but then he saw Klaus who was looking at them too, their eyes met and they both raised their eyebrow at each other wondering 'when his sibling are going to stop acting like kids' then they both shake their head silently answering their own question 'never' .
Kol pouted when he saw that Rebekah wasn't even acknowledging him, he tried to move his finger near her face, thinking if he tried to touch her or at least make her think he was then she might acknowledge him , but then suddenly Rebekah turned holding his finger and wiping it on her face, smirking when he saw Kol horrified expression
"eewwwwww" He screamed trying to wipe the liquid that was on his finger , Rebekah smirked at him but yet didn't said anything to him, He ran to kitchen washing off the liquid and entering the living room where he saw everyone was smirking but yet didn't said anything, Klaus winking at his sister making her smirk more
"Talk to me Rebekah, fight with me" Kol said poking her arms as he sat beside her making her move closer to Klaus who suddenly wrap his arms around her, Rebekah stiff in his arms but yet smiled as she rested her back again Klaus chest relaxing herself in her brother comfort arms that she missed so much
"Leave her alone" Klaus order Kol
"Look what we have here now, Nik supporting his sister again" Kol stated making Rebekah smirk at him
"Someone is getting jealous, don't you think Nik" she stated moving her head to look at her brother who just smile evilly at her
"I can smell the fire" He stated making Kol scoff
"I'm not getting jealous" Kol stated crossing his arms over his chest as he scoff, they all knew he was jealous, they could easily see from his expression "And I don't have anything to be jealous off, I have Elijah my Big BROTHER who loves me" Kol added making Elijah look at him through the paper, Kol made his way towards Elijah wrapping his arm around his shoulder as he added "We have fun too"
Klaus and Rebekah let out a laugh giving him a "Really" look, Kol rolled his eyes
"Don't laugh at Elijah , he isn't that bad, I mean i know he is serious all the time but we have our fun" Kol stated looking at Elijah "Don't we Elijah..?" He asked smirking, but his smirked died when he saw Elijah giving him the same look which said 'really' 'you're involving me again' .
Kol dropped his arms, making a huff sound as he made his way towards the couch, "Fine, We hardly have fun, But I know you love me more secretly" Kol stated making Elijah shake his head at Kol behaviour, Rebekah simply chuckled while Klaus laughed at how Elijah was trying his best to not get involved in this conversation. Kol turned to look at Klaus and smiling as he said
"I know you love me too Nik" HE stated making Rebekah scoff this time, Kol turned to look at her "What's wrong Bekah, Don't like the fact that Nik loves me more than you" Kol stated smiling at her sister annoyed expression
"In your dream Kol" she stated which only made Kol smiled more
"awwww our dear sister not liking the fact that her brother Nik loves me more than her " Kol stated making sad faces at Rebekah while she only stared at him in annoyance ,Elijah chuckled making Klaus looked at him, Elijah just shrugged his shoulder at him, Klaus could see that Elijah was happy that the he wasn't involve anymore and the topic was distracted towards Klaus now, Klaus shake his head not wanting to get involved in this "I mean everyone knows I'm his favourite, I was born before you so I happen to spend more time playing with Nik more then you" He added watching Rebekah narrowing her eyes at him, Kol knew it was just few minutes until Rebekah was totally pissed off
"Do you remember the time Nik, when you took me to the park and didn't brought Rebekah, because she was annoying little brat who was stubborn and bossy" He stated making Klaus look at him, Rebekah look at Klaus who just simply shook his head telling silently her silently to ignore whatever Kol was saying
"Or that time when you used to always give me two dairy milk chocolates and Rebekah used to have only one" Kol stated trying his best to piss his sister off but it only made her smile evilly at her , she looked at Klaus who was also smiling at her, Kol looked at them confused wondering what the hell their smiling was about , Rebekah turned to look at Kol
"as much as I remember Kol, Even if Nik used to give one Chocolate in front of you guys at the end of the day I used to have two more chocolates " She said making Kol eyes widen at her confession but it wasn't the end of the confession "In fact I used to have a special chocolate milkshake every morning" she added making Kol eyes widen more but then he looked at Klaus giving him a death glare
"You are partial" he pointed his finger at Klaus who just laughed kissing Rebekah head as he rubbed her arms
"That I'm" He replied simply shrugging off his shoulder, Kol rolled his eyes at their sibling who were just laughing at him, he looked at scoffing as he pouted
"I may not be the favourite brother" HE said making his sibling look at him "But I'm sure as hell the Favourite uncle soo far" HE grinned making Rebekah scoff
"Whatever" she said "Sometimes kids happen to choose wrong sides" She added shrugging her shoulder while Klaus laughed, Kol just made a face at her but didn't said anything. Elijah looked through his paper relaxing when he saw that the conversation ended, and now maybe he can read the newpaper in peace
Ding dong
The bell rang, they heard knocking at their front doors rapidly already knowing that Kids were here, Elijah folded his paper thinking, 'maybe it was too early for him so to talk about reading in peace'. Kol grinned Rebekah who just stared at him
"And now it's time for me to play my favourite uncle role" HE simply said walking towards the main door, Rebekah scoff murmuring ' so full of himself' ,Klaus looked at the Rebekah silently asking her whose their at the door, because he could see by his sibling expression that they knew without opening the door to see it
"The kids are here for tutoring" Elijah answered instead, Klaus looked at him and gave him a small smile. Elijah looked at the door wondering who might be there to drop the kids off, Maybe Katherine , he simply hoped that it was Katherine because he missed her, and he just wanted to see her face like always , but his face fell into disappointment, Klaus looked at his brother who was looking at the door with patience but then disappointment reached his face which made Klaus confuse, Klaus followed his brother graze and sat still when he saw it was Caroline who standing there with the kids , she was just talking to Kol about something making him laugh, while the kids where removing their shoes and jackets , Caroline talking to Kol and her laughter died when she looked around the roam and her graze feel on Klaus, they looked at each other but neither smiled, nor said anything, Kol turned to look at what Caroline was looking and saw Klaus sitting there, he cleared his throat making Caroline look at him. He just smiled at Caroline and turned his attention towards Kids
"Good Morning my partners" he said turning the kids attention towards him, they smiled at him
"Good morning Uncle Kol" they said grinning widely. Caroline smiled at the Kids, then her attention turns towards Klaus again who was staring at her
Silence felt the house again
Elijah cleared his throat, making everyone look at him. He turned towards Caroline
"Would you like to have some tea..?" He asked trying to break the silence, Caroline smiled at him knowing what he was doing but shook her head as a no
"I can't, I'm running late for work" she replied, Elijah nodded with a smile, Rebekah didn't said anything she kept quiet as she didn't know what to say or do, it was for the first time they were seeing Caroline and Klaus in the same room after everything that had happened. Caroline interrupted their thoughts when she kneeled in front of her kids.
"Okay kids, I will leave now" she said holding the kids hand making them nod "don't do anything I won't like okay, behave yourself" she said , the kids nodded at her
"and stay away from Uncle Kol as much as possible, if he tries to convince you guys for prank then complain about him to uncle Elijah " Caroline added making Kol protest with a 'heeeyy' , but she ignored him, the kids nodded at Caroline making her smile,
"You remember what I said today right..?" she asked the kids softly who just smiled at her knowing they remember their kitchen conversation "Good, always remember what I said" she added kissing their forehead, the kids hug her tightly saying good byes,
Klaus looked at Caroline and the kids , the way Caroline and kids were together made him smile, watching Caroline threating the kids was adorable , her nose looked so tiny when she stared at the kids narrowing her eyes, her pink lips forming a shape as she smiled sweetly at kids, Klaus still remember it was the same way she used to smile at him everything they used to meet, His thoughts were interrupted when she saw Caroline glare caught his , She turned her head looking at the kids again as she stood brushing her kids hairs as she turned towards the Mikaelson siblings
"Bye guys, I'll leave now" She said giving a smile towards Kol and Elijah , completely ignoring Klaus and Rebekah, Rebekah tried the best to hide her sadness , she thought that maybe Caroline didn't forgive her to not telling her about Klaus, her thoughts were interrupted when she heard Caroline yelling when they door was about to close "Good bye Rebekah" She added
Rebekah smiled at that and it was then she realized that Caroline didn't look at her only because if she would have looked than she would have to look at Klaus too... She felt Klaus stiff behind her so she simply just squeezed his hand, their moment was interrupted when they heard Rumi calling out Klaus name.. They turned their attention on her
"Klausss" they saw Rumi running towards Klaus with a smile but suddenly she stopped in the middle of the living room looking at them, before they could ask her anything she screamed through her lungs making a=everyone look at her in concern..
"Why are you screaming..?" Nick asked when he went to stand beside her sister who was just looking at Klaus and Rebekah with horror and fear. She just pointed her finger at them
"Klaus is sitting with a monster" She yelled making Nick looked at her in confusion,
"No he isn-" Nick words were by cut by himself when he let out a scream similar to Rumi when he looked at Klaus and Rebekah , Elijah and Kol looked at Klaus and Rebekah wondering what were the kids talking about , it was then they realized that Rebekah facepack must have scared them, He started laughing making everyone look t him, except Rumi
"Uncle Kol why you have monster sitting in your living room" She asked softly as she looked at Rebekah , Rebekah stood walking towards Rumi as she opened her mouth to answer but Rumi eyes got widen in horror as she screamed again
"Uncle Kolllll the monster opened her mouth, she is going to kill me with her tongue and nails" Rumi screamed as she ran towards Kol who was simply just laughing at them.. Nick ran towards Rumi just to stand in front of her
"You evil monster " He said making everyone raised his eyebrow at him "You are not killing my sister" he responded making everyone surprise ,Kol just shake his head as he look at the kids
"Cool down kids" he said making them look at him "I know that" he said pointing at Rebekah "looks like a monster but it's just your Aunt Rebekah" HE said making kids look at them. They look at him in surprise and confusing then they tuned to look at Rebekah who just nodded, then suddenly they heard a scream again and this time it was Nick
"The monster eat Aunt Rebekah" he screamed making Rumi eye widen in horror again, they both started running in the living room their hands up the airs as they screamed through their lungs, the siblings looked at kids who were just running and screaming in the living room yelling 'the monster is at the house' 'the monster ate their Aunt Rebekah' 'now that monster is going to kill everyone'. Kol started grinning by everything that was happening and instead of stopping them ,what he did was run behind them yelling and screaming with them with a horror expression
Klaus looked at the kids with an mouth opened expression, who were just running and screaming in fear when he saw Kol running with them equally matching their horror expression which made Klaus let out a laugh at his behaviour, he turned his head looking Rebekah who was sending daggers at Kol, who was oblivious to her glare as he kept running around screaming 'monster' 'monster' again and again.. IT was Elijah who called out for Rumi and Nick making them stand in front of him.
"Stop right now" He order making them stop screaming and they did, excluding Kol who just kept running screaming along, Elijah yelled his name making him stop, Kol stopped with his hands in the air as he looked around wondering where the kids went, then he saw them standing in front of Elijah looking at him in surprise, Rumi kept her small hand on her mouth trying not to laugh at Uncle Kol expression, Kol dropped his hands and closed his mouth
"ohh, sorry" He simply said making his way towards Elijah to stand in front of him
"Kids stop screaming, and there is no monster, and neither did a monster eat your aunt Rebekah" Elijah told them but was interrupted by Kol
"I always wished that she should have been eaten by monster, but sometimes we don't get what we want" Kol said making his sibling give him a glare , he murmured a sorry and waved his hands for Elijah to continue , Elijah gave him a glare before turning to look at the kids
"Like I said It's your Aunt Rebekah there" He said pointing towards Rebekah who gave the kids the nod
"It's me kiddos" She said making the look at her with surprise
"Aunt Bekah" They both whispered, Bekah just smiled at them
"Sorry" They whispered back. "But she does look like a monster" Nick grin making everyone chuckle
"Are you going to costume party..?" Rumi asked her eyes getting widen in excitement as she ran towards Rebekah "Can I join you too..?" she added, Rebekah roll her eyes at the girl excitement
"I'm not going anywhere, it's a makeup product" Rebekah answered making Rumi look at her confuse
"Makeup..?" She asked, Rebekah nodded "But makeup should make you look good, but you're looking like a monster with green face" She added making a disgusted face .Nick went to stand beside Rebekah poking her leg to make her look at him
"I think the person who was selling make up gave you a wrong thing.." Nick said making Rebekah roll her eyes , she sat kneeled down in front of them
"Both of you listen, Ignore whatever I'm wearing on my face, and stop asking questions" She whispered, the kids were about to talk but she held her hand making them stop and listen her "Go study now, When you will be done I'll make you guys you're favourite milkshake" She added making the kids smile widen, they both nodded and ran upstairs waiting for Elijah
"I'll go and play my teacher role now" Elijah simply said and followed the kids upstairs , while going upstairs ,He saw Rumi running past him downstairs again which made him stop on the stairs, He turned and saw her running towards Klaus
"Klaus" The sibling hear Rumi as she ran downstairs, Klaus turned towards her and saw her running towards him with a smile. She stopped in front of him, before He could ask her anything, Rumi wrapped her small arms around Klaus neck
"Good morning" She whispered kissing his cheek as she turned giggling running towards the stairs again, when she past Elijah they heard her say 'Come on Uncle Eli , we have to study'. The Mikaelson sibling just stood there frozen for a minute wondering what just happened, especially Klaus who looked like someone just pulled his heart out, and their moment was broken when they heard Kol say
"Rebekah you do look like monster in that pack" Kol said making everyone look at him, Elijah shook his head at them murmuring 'not again' as he made his way upstairs, behind him he heard Rebekah throwing things at Kol, who was just simply laughing.
Klaus sat there frozen as he heard Rebekah and Kol cursing at each other but all he was thinking about was Rumi who was happy seeing him, the girl who kissed him, hugged him with so much happiness, when he saw Rumi smiled at him at the moment he never would have thought that because of him a child will ever be happy but watching Rumi smiling at him made his heart melt, at that very moment the only thing Klaus realized that
The girl who gave him a smile which made his heart beat again was the same girl he wanted Caroline to kill.
'God What have I done' was the only thing Klaus kept saying over and over in his mind
