So I know its been forever since I updated on here, but I was so distracted updating it on my other website I go to that I forgot to post the chapters here. So to make this up to y'all I will post a chapter every other day instead of once a week. Sound good? I'll do that till y'all catch up to the other website updates. Enjoy!
He looked down at me surprised, "How do you know my name?" An idea coming to mind I grinned, "I know lots of things. Take for instant…how many houses you and Rose broke." His mouth fell open in shock, "What-But-I- You…" He looked down at me confused as hell. "Who are you?" He looked like a confused big cuddly bear. I smiled, "I'm Amanda." A sweet puzzled smile appeared on his handsome face, "It's nice to meet you Amanda." "You too big grizzly bear…Or as Rose calls you 'her monkey man'." A booming laugh escaped his lips, "I like you little, clumsy stranger." I smiled up at him, so it was only Bella so far who didn't like me. Fingers crossed that she's the only one who feels that way. Edward called for everyone again, and Emmett began to walk in the direction of the kitchen. I finally get to see the kitchen, I thought in excitement.
Following after him, I blushed at having everyone's eyes on me. Emmett was standing in a corner beside a blonde beauty. Rosalie. The books description was a bit off, because she was a lot prettier than Stephenie Meyer had described. "Hello," I turned and saw a man standing beside a heart shaped face woman who were both smiling sweetly. "Hi," I smiled and waved once. Oh my gosh, can I get any more weird?! "Please. Take a seat and relax. You're safe with my family," Carlisle said as he stepped forward and pulled out a chair for me. Blushing even more, I sat and began biting the inside of my cheek. Bad habit, I know, but I do it when I'm nervous.
As soon as I sat everyone followed suit. "So would you like to start," Carlisle asked looking over to Edward who was standing. Apparently he thinks chairs are uncomfortable or something. He looked over at me and smiled, "If it'll make you feel better I'll sit down." Blushing a bright red I nodded, I really need to remember that he can read my thoughts. Wish I could read minds so he could see how it feels. Laughter escaped his lips, letting me know that he had still been listening in on my thoughts. Everyone looked at Edward in confusion, and then turned to me as if already guessing that it had been my mind he had been invading. "Sorry," I whispered, "I just barely realized how annoying Edward's gift is." Their eyes widened in shook, and soon they were all laughing. "I like this girl already," Emmett said amused as the laughter slowly died down.
"So sweetie," Esme started, drawing my eyes to her, "where are you from?" My eyes quickly steered from hers, "That's kind of a weird answer." Edward chuckled, "Well you're in a kitchen with a bunch of vampires an-" "Vegetarian," I cut in. He laughed, "Yes, vegetarian vampires, and you're saying that where you're from is a weird answer?" I shrugged, well when he put it that way… I sighed, "Well it is an odd answer. I'm not from here." Emmett nodded, "Not from Forks? Soooo where then?" I bit the inside of my cheek for a moment before replying, "No, I mean… I'm not from this place, dimension, time whatever it's called." Rosalie's right eyebrow went up, "That isn't possible. Who are you?" She eyed me suspiciously. Well with Rosalie I wasn't surprised by it, Bella was another story entirely.
"I'm-" "Her names Amanda," Emmett said smiling proudly for remembering as he leaned against the wall with his arms crossed. I smiled amused; of course he remembers he's a vampire for pete's sake. Rosalie glared at him and smacked him in the back of the head. "Owe! What did I do?" "She was supposed to answer fool," Rose said turning her back to him now. He pouted and wrapped his arms around her waist, "I'm sorry Rosie." She sighed and leaned into, causing me to smile. They were cute together, no they perfect. "Now that you're done Rosalie may I continue?" She gave Carlisle a sheepish smile appeared on her face, but nodded. "Sorry." He turned back to me and smiled, "Please tell us how you got here if you don't mind my asking." I smiled, "Of course. Well I was in my room asleep holding the books as I slowly began to fall asleep, made a wish…And I woke up near Edward's meadow." His eyebrows were scrunched together as he asked, "What books?" "Umm, this is going to sound a bit weird, bu-" "Really? You just told us you're from another dimension or some shit like that and you're saying the title of a book is going to sound weird?" Emmett asked trying to stifle a laugh.
I blushed, "The books were about all of you. Mostly about Edward and Bella's life, but y'all are there too." At this they looked at me as if I were crazy. Edward watched me with a glimmer in his eyes when he heard what the books were about. He's most likely going to corner me later and ask about what happens. Should I tell him? "Amanda, exactly how much do you know about us and do you know…" Jasper asked but didn't continue. "I know a lot, like I umm, I know about Maria. I'm sorry. I know you probably think I'm budding into your business, I'm sorry." He shook his head, "No, it's…it's fine. " He didn't sound too sure, so I just let it drop. "So that's how you knew about me and my Rosie!" Emmett boomed out looking at me betrayed. "I really thought you had some special power or something. You tricked me," He pouted causing me to laugh.
"Sorry Emmett, I just couldn't resist." "What did you tell him?" Rosalie asked. "ummm, how umm, the houses you, umm had." Her eyes widened and if she could of blushed I think she would of. "How about me?" Alice asked smiling. I smiled, "I know that you can see into the future, how you waited for Jasper, and why you woke up alone when you were turned." Her smile slipped as she grew serious, "You do?" I nodded, "Would you like to know?" She nodded, "Please." "You were human and there was a vampire, James, who loved how sweet you smelled and he wanted a taste. So he was going to get you, but another vampire cared for you and saw potential so he turned you. James got mad for having missed his snack so he…he killed the one who created you out of anger." She stayed quiet looking down at the table, probably trying to remember any of it.
"And me?" Edward asked with a big smile. "What of me and my Bella?" He vampire speeded his way to standing right in front of me causing me to jump in surprise and fall of. I closed my eyes for the ground impact, but it never came. Instead I felt a pair of cold hard arms wrap around me and an electric current shot through me. Looking up I met Edward's caramel eyes, "Th-Thank you." He was looking at me in wonder as he nodded, "Of course, no problem. I'm the one that scared you. My apologies." "It's okay, you were just excited is all," I said not taking my eyes from his. Wow, up close they were hypnotizing. And oddly enough he was watching me too. "Son, maybe you should put her down. You probably nearly gave the poor thing a heart attack," A voice said beside us.
I blushed; I had forgotten that other people where in the room with us. Slowly he set me down on my feet and took five steps back, "Sorry. I'm going to go to go for a little bit. I'll be back." With that he disappeared. I looked around to find everyone gazing at me in shock. "Did I do something?" I asked uneasily, I don't really like to be stared at. "Sorry dear. Would you like to go to sleep now? It is rather late for you to still be up." "What time is it?" "It's going on midnight." Midnight?! What the fuck. Where did the day go? "Yes, I would love a place to rest for the night if it's no trouble." She smiled, "Come, I'll take you to your room." "My room?! I-I can stay?" I asked in shock. "Why of course. You have nowhere else to go, and it would be cruel of us to just toss you on the street."
"Well thank you all very much for the hospitality you just bestowed upon me" Bestowed?! Really Amanda? Could you make yourself sound any less stupid? She led me down a hall of doors till she stopped in front of one, "You can use this room for tonight till we get everything arranged tomorrow." She opened the door and I stepped into a room that instantly I knew who it belonged to. "This is Edward's room," I said in shock as my eyes took everything in, from his couch to his collection of CD's on the wall. Wow, I'm really in Edward's room.
Have I died and gone to heaven?! Esme nodded, "Yes, this is Edward's room. He won't mind." Oh my gosh, I'm going to sleep on Edward's couch?! Fan girl screaming moment I thought in my head as I slowly began to look around, not touching anything. "Thank you Esme," I said looking up at her with a smile. She nodded, "Of course. Stay as long as you need be. Goodnight, Amanda. Oh, and if you need the bathroom its right across from this room." "Thank you." With that she left the room closing the door behind her. I slowly made my way to the window wall and watched the trees sway with the breeze. As I did a scene played out in my mind. What if I was a vampire? What if I was Edward's mate and not Bella? Would he be here now? With his arms wrapped around my waist and his head resting on my shoulder? A single tear lightly fell from my eye and made a trail till it disappeared under my chin. As soon as that one fell they all did. Why am I here? Is Mom worried? Does she even know I'm gone? Has she told dad? Did he even call after his wedding with his new wife like he promised?
A light knock sounded at my door, not mine Edward's, I corrected myself quickly. Wiping the tears from my cheeks I walked to the door and opened it. Edward stood there with his hands in his pockets. Wow did he look good in those blue jean pants. Edward smiled up at me with look of sympathy. "I'm sorry you're so sad. I'm sure you'll be able to get back home soon." I nodded, "I hope so. I was supposed to finally get a call from my Dad today." At this a crease formed in-between his brow in confusion. Realizing he didn't know what I meant I elaborated, "My Dad got remarried." "Oh…Do you not like her?" I shrugged, hard to like someone who was the woman my Dad cheated on my Mom for. "I'm sorry." I looked into Edward's caramel eyes in confusion before I remembered.
"Right. Stupid mind reader," I mumbled under my breath causing him to laugh. "Sorry, I hadn't meant to hear that about your Dad." I shook my head, "Don't sweat it…never mind you can't sweat. I mean it's fine, everyone from where I'm from already knows anyways." He nodded causing his reddish brown hair to flop up and down. It looked so soft and tempting to touch. "So are you going to want to be in school here till you are able to go home or are you going to just lie around like a lazy butt?" I laughed, butt coming from such a beautiful kissable pair of lips was just so funny, and to have come from Edward's. ..Hilarious.
