LOL at the end! Silly, cray-cray Bella...
And I'm reading "life and death" as well... oh, brother it's been... ugh. I dunno, it's cooler than just a long author's note for the 10th anniversary and it's still witty and clever here and there but... I'm on chapter 19, and if it was a fanfic and not an AU from Stephanie herself I would've stopped reading several chapters ago. There. I said it. I mean, the gender swap is cool and all, but honestly I've read better fanfics. Yours, for instance :* But maybe I'm just jaded to the whole "twilight AU" routine after reading so much fic? I'm a hypocrite... The cover and "flip" book shtick are really cool! What do you think of life and death?
-So far I am on chapter 9 in "Life and Death". I thought it would be different...it does sound like a fanfiction to me as well. I only wanted to read it because of Stephenie, but it's kind of good but then not. When I heard about it I thought it would be such an awesome story. Thank you for the compliment, lol it means a lot. And I agree, the cover looks so awesome! So far I like Beaufort, he's better than bella in some parts, but his name is kind of a turn off.
I stand up, lean over the table and put my face close to Edward's by accident while trying to glare at Bella. "Lets get one thing straight. I never slept with my teacher, I moved in with the Cullen's because I had nowhere to go, I have no intention in seducing Carlisle, and i'm not trying to steal your boyfriend so can you please just cut this whole mean girls crap and act like the Bella that everyone but Rose likes?"
She glared at me, "Don't tell me what to do. And as for Edward...Stay way from him." Edward opens his mouth to say something but I turn and walk away. I'm not going to continue this crap with her. I stand by Mike as I shuffle my feet, "Umm, is there still a seat available?" He looks up at me and smiles hugely as if he had just been awarded an Oscar.
"Yeah, here. I saved a seat for you in case you changed your mind." I sit beside him and avoid Jessica, and Laura's glares. Angela smiles, "Hey, glad you could make it hotshot." I laugh as she winks at me jokingly. "Oh you now I can't live without you Angela. In fact I came over to propose actually." Ben laughs, "Sorry Amanda, but she's already taken." I snap my fingers in a joking way, "Drats." Mike laughs as he slings an arm around my shoulder, "Well don't be to disappointed. I'm single Amanda."
Blushing I push his arm off, "Woah there buddy. You gotta buy my dinner first." He laughed, "Okay. How about tonight?" My eyes widen, "What?" He blushed, "Would you like to catch a movie with me?" A tray clatters on our table and we all turn to see Jessica standing with a glint in her eyes. "I'll see you all later." Did that sound like a threat? *cough*awkward*cough* Tyler says with a laugh. We all laugh and it quickly breaks the tension.
"Sure Mike. I'll go to the movies with you. No funny business though." He nods as he raises his hands in the air, "Promise." The end of lunch bell sounds and Mike reaches to grab my bag, but someone grabs it first. Looking up in surprise to see Alice. "Don't worry Mike. We got her." I glare at her as she links our arms. "Thanks for cock blocking Alice." Jasper laughs causing people around to jump in surprise. "I'm helping you get ready tonight." I shrug, "I figured as much. you do realize that we'll have to shorten the shopping trip right?"
She frowns, "I guess...I hadn't thought about that." Laughing I head into Gym and leave Jasper to deal with the energizer bunny. No one I know is in this class so I do the exercises alone. Ignoring the curious stares from the guys. By the time it's time to leave i'm exhausted. Stupid coach. Alice is outside, standing my Rosalie's car bouncing in place. "We're just waiting for Rosalie and Esme and e'll be on our way." Why don't we just pick up Esme on the way? As soon as Rosalie showed up so did Esme. She tossed her keys to Emmett and yelled as we pulled out of the parking space. "Don't scratch that car boys!" Laughing I relax into my seat. "How was you first day dear?" I shrug, "It was good. I got a date for tonight."
She grinned I figured you would. I mean look at you, you're beautiful." I blush, "Thank you." 'Oh Mom, Bella wants to know if you want any help with anything tonight," Alice said without taking her eyes off the road. "No, tell her i'm fine dear. Besides, Amanda here will help me if I need it won't you dear?" I nod, "Absolutely. I'm your human slave your Majesty." Esme laughed, "Oh you silly girl. Who's your date? Is Edward okay with this?" I frown, "Mike Newton. And hat do you mean if he's okay with it?"
Esme frowned, "He hasn't told you?" "Nooo, told me what?" "Why that you're his-" "That you're his ticket into ditching school tomorrow," Alice says quickly. Ticket? "How so?" I ask curiously. "He told Carlisle that he was going to teach you how to drive." "But I already know how to drive." Rosalie laughed, "Then he's out of luck I see."
