Surprisingly Kurt is the one with no tact what so ever.
When Mike wants extracurricular time with his boyfriend he just stand a little closer, stares a little longer, lingers in all their touches for a few second more than usual. And Kurt picks up on these signals easily. He's quick to excuse himself and his boyfriend from their friends, and families with his quicksilver tongue with no one being the wiser to what they were going off to do.
Yes Kurt picked up small hints quite easily. But mike was beginning to believe that maybe he didn't. Because that would be the only explanation as to why Kurt was more than blatant in his attempts to get Mike alone in the same way. He would push himself up against his boyfriend, rolling his body seductively on him and nuzzling his cheek into his shoulder. Running his small hands all over Mike's body sometimes even going as far to go into sparsely charted areas just to get his point across.
And Mike's excuses to leave were never smooth. A few murmured or chocked words and they were leaving to be in private to the sounds of cheers and catcalls.
Yes, Mike always knew when Kurt wanted it.
