AMANDA'S POV:
Another week has passed and even though I shouldn't I still think of that jerk ward Edward Cullen. My heart just doesn't seem to understand that he'll never want me. He's in love with Bella. Harry has been going on and on about his new girlfriend Mary instead of his math. Last Friday he tried to make a move on me, but thanks to Rosalie I knew just where to hit him. After that he realized I wasn't a girl to mess with. Thank God.
I mean I almost let him kiss me because I was having delusions and I thought he was Edward. I'm beginning to think i'm losing my mind. I've been looking and I still can't find anything about Twilight. "Harry, we need to get back to work if you want to pass this algebra test Monday," I say holding back my frustration. He smiles, "Yeah, sorry. You're right. What's the next equation?" After two more hours of lessons he finally leaves with hope.
"Thank you so much Amanda. I think i'm actually going to pass." I smile, "No problem. You better pass that test if I spent this much time trying to teach you." He laughs, "Well...I was wondering if you'd like to maybe go get some dinner with me." I frown, "What about your girlfriend?" He blushes as he runs his fingers through his hair, "Oh yeah. Then how about some pizza as friends to show my thanks." I laugh, "You don't give up do you? Okay. I do love pizza. Only as friends though." He nods, "Of course." "Mom i'm going out. Be back in a few!" I yell as I walk out. "Okay sweetie! Be safe!"
I smile, "Well then, shall we?" He smiles, "Right this way me lady." I roll my eyes and hop into the drivers seat. "what do you think you're doing?" He asked with a smirk. "i'm driving, duh. Get in macho man." He shakes his head but gets into the passenger seat and hands me the keys. "You're lucky I like you. I don't let anyone drive my car but me." I smirk, "I'm so flattered Harry. Now buckle up.
I learned some few tricks from my Cullen friends." Once I park Harry jumps out of the car. "Oh my god! You could of got us killed Amanda! What the hell were you thinking?! Obviously nothing! I'm never letting you drive again! In fact i'm going to be taking you to school from now on! Have you lost your mid! Oh God! I almost died! You almost died! Give me those damn keys!" Laughing I toss them at him and head inside. "You coming chicken?" He rolls his eyes, "You're crazy." I smile, "You don't know the half of it."
ALICE'S POV:
I did it! It worked! Yes! The rest were on the floor groaning as I was standing and bouncing in excitement. "Alice where are we?" Edward asks in wonder as he looks around the busy street. "Amanda's world!" I squeal and a few people walking by give me crazy eyes. They'd understand if they'd been apart from their best friend for a month already. Took my wish long enough to come true. "What do you mean?" Carlisle asks as he begins to walk away and we all follow.
"Do you know where my little sis is?" Emmett asks in excitement. I nod with a huge smile, "Yes! Can't you smell her!" They all pause for a moment and sniff the air as Bella glares at everything in her sight. "I smell her," Edward says in shock. "She's close," Rosalie agrees. "Why do you all care where the hell she is? She just cursed us and took us out of our world." I glare at her, "Bella just because you don't like her doesn't mean we don't either. In fact i'm really starting to like her better than you." Bella gasp in shock as a tear falls from her eye.
"Alice that wasn't necessary," Edward says wrapping a protective arm around her. I roll my eyes, "Come on. Lets go get Amanda." They follow obediently as her sent becomes stronger and stronger. "I think she's in there," Esme says pointing to a pizza restraint across the street. As we begin to cross the street I smell another scent mixed with her and groan. Oh, shoot. Edward's going to get pissed. "Edward, maybe you should stay out here," I say resting a hand on his shoulder. His eyes are black when he turns to me. Oh shit, he smelled it too. "No." Shaking my hand off he releases Bella and opens the restraint door.
AMANDA'S POV:
Harry had tried to order one pizza but I put my foot down. "I want two pizza's." His eyes widened, "Why?" "So I can have some for tomorrow." He laughed, "You're odd." I smile, "And you're not? He shrugs, "I'm more normal than you." I nod thoughtfully, "That's true." "Who did it?" I look up at him curiously, "Who did what?" "Who broke your heart?" I blink in shock, "Why would you assume someone had?"
He smiles sadly, "Your eyes. They used to have this happy twinkle in them. I hardly see it now. Only in rare occasions it's there." I sigh, "It's complicated. You wouldn't understand." He placed his hand over mine as he scooted closer to me in our booth. His shoulder brushing mine and causing me to shudder. In what way? I have no clue. "His name was Edward. Umm, well he had a girlfriend already when I met him, but...this is so stupid."
"No, go on," Harry says as he brushes a strand of hair out of my face. "I'd always had a crush on him. I thought I loved him. And one day he kisses me while i'm staying the night at his house to have a sleepover with his sister. I should of known what would happen next, but I blinded by him." A tear falls from my eyes and Harry wipes them away with his thumb. "His girlfriend found out?"
I shake my head, "No. He told me in the morning it was all a mistake. That he didn't care for me. That I was nothing to him in other words." Harry frowns, "Amanda?" I look up at him curiously as he continues to wipe my left over tears. "Yes?" "If I ever meet this asshole I will kick his ass." I laugh, "You are very sweet Harry, but you shouldn't. His siblings would be upset." I couldn't tell him he'd never win the fight because Edward is a vampire. So over protective siblings excuse it was. "I'll fight them too." I smile, "Thank you for listening." His eyes watch me closely before he leans closer and my heart starts going into over drive.
Is he going to kiss me? As I close my eyes I decide I really do need to get over Edward and Harry is being so sweet. I can't help it. Just as his lips brush mine something is slammed onto our table and I jump back in shock. Harry has a girlfriend. What the hell was I thinking! I turn to think the person who interrupted and gasp. "Edward?" He isn't looking at me though. He's glaring at Harry. "You're Edward?" Harry ask as he stands and pushes the table back rather forcefully. I wince. Oh, no.
"Harry, please," I say as I stand between them. Harry isn't having any of it though. He grabs me around the waist and pulls me behind him. "No Amanda. This jerk needs to be taught a lesson." Just as he says that Bella comes behind Edward and grabs his arm. "Edward? What are you doing?! Lets go. She's on a date. Surprising someone would go out with her but still. Let's go." Harry turns to her, "What did you say?" Bella rolls her eyes, "Why are you into her? I mean look at her. You can do better." I blush and tug Harry's arm. "Let's just go. Please?" He turns to me and his features soften, "Okay, lets get out of here." Thank goodness!
Edward growls, "You aren't going anywhere with her." "Oh, and who's going to stop me?" Edward's black eyes look as if there is a flame in them. "You don't want to know what i'd do if you take one more step." "Edward stop this. Now!" I yell, finally having enough. "I'm leaving, and Harry's coming with me. Is Alice here?" His eyes soften as he nods watching me, "She's outside with the others." I nod, "Thanks. There's a forest two blocks from here. Just so you know. With that I take Harry's hand and drag him with me to the door.
