ASHLEY'S P.O.V
She's still unconscious.
But the doctor's think she'll wake up any minute now.
"None of this seems very fair does it..."
When she says that I look up.
"She's lying here unconscious, she's covered in bruises, she has cuts all over face, her arm's in a sling and her ribs are fractured..."
She's feeling guilty.
"And I'm sitting here fully conscious with three stupid stiches in my eye"
"Zara none of this is your fault"
"Ash I was in control of that car..."
This isn't her fault.
"I must have somehow turned the car away from me"
"Zara don't do this..."
There's nothing she could have done to stop this happening.
"None of this is your fault"
"She's going to be so pissed off when she wakes up"
When she says that I smile.
"She hates when people make a fuss about her"
"That doesn't surprise me"
Spencer's incredibly stubborn and independent.
"I-I..."
I don't think I've ever got out of my seat as quickly as I just did.
She's awake.
"Hey..."
I move so I'm standing by the bed.
"H-Hi"
I can barely hear her.
"The car?"
She looks like she's in agony.
"Zara?"
When I look over at Zara she's still standing by the door.
"I-Is she alright?"

I smile when she moves so she's standing next to me.

"Spence you had us all really worried"
There has to be a stronger word than worried.
Because I'd well and truly passed worried.
"We ahhh..."
Everytime she tries to move she cringes.
"We should have stayed in bed"
When she says that I smile.
"Do you want me to go get the nurse?"
"No I..."
When she holds her hand out I gently wrap my fingers around hers.
"Stay"
I hate seeing her like this.
"What hospital is this?"

It was only yesterday that we were here for my mum.

She's struggling to talk.

I have the biggest smile on my face.

I slowly lean down pressing my lips against hers.
"Spence I thought I was going to lose you"

When Zara says that I start laughing.
"Spence I'm just going to go let the others know that you're awake..."
"Okay"
"It's really good to have you back"
She's smiling.
"Thanks Zara"
When Zara leaves I lean back down so my foreheads resting on hers.
"Spencer I was so worried"
Today started out so perfect.
Why did it have to end up like this?
"When Ky came by the studio..."

She reaches up slowly brushing her fingers through my hair.
"I'm sorry you had to come back here"

I've never cared abour someone as much as I care about her.

When she says that I smile.
"Your mum's got cancer and your girlfriend's..."
