SPENCER'S P.O.V
The second she leaves I sit up.
"Are you alright?"
"Yer"
She moves so she's standing in front of me.
"Spence I'm sorry I went all crazy Zara on you"
"Don't apologise..."
It's sweet she cares.
"It means a lot that you care"
"Of course I care you're my best friend and if you die I won't have a job"
When she says that I start laughing.
"Don't really die"
"I'll try my best Zar"
That reminds me.
"I really need to figure out what I'm going to do about the bar"
"Spence I think you can afford to keep it closed a bit longer"
Financially I'm okay.
But I have people who work for me and musicians that rely on me.
"It's not the money Zara"
"I know"
I move so I'm sitting on the edge of the bed.
"So how are you really feeling?"
"My whole body aches"
I've never felt like this before.
"You should of stayed Spence"
"I couldn't..."
"Because of your mum?"
When she says that I look up at her.
"Zara when I woke up this morning she was watching me sleep"
"What?"
"She was just standing there"
I definately don't want to wake up to that again.
"She's not normal Spence..."
I couldn't agree more.
"But she shouldn't be the reason you left..."
She's not the only reason I left.
"What if something happens to you?"
"Zara my injuries can't get any worse"
My bones are broken it can't get much worse.
"Did the doctors tell you that?"
"Not exactly... Could you pass me one of those?"
I force a smile when she hands me one of the crutches.
"Where are you going?"
"I need to pee"
She's grinning.
"Do you want a hand?"
"Zara I'd love it if you went for me"
When I say that she starts laughing.
"I would if I could"
I slowly hop up so I'm standing in front of her.
"So how are you feeling Zar?"
"I'm fine..."
"That's a decent cut you have on your head?"
"It's pretty good isn't it?"
When she says that I smile.
"It makes you look tough"
I don't know what I'd do if something happened to her.
"Zara I'm sorry I've been stealing all the attention"
"I wouldn't have it any other way..."
She's the perfect friend.
"What are you going to do when you need to shower?"
"I've already showered"
"You showered?"
When she says that I grin.
"Ash helped me..."
"You didn't?"
"She wouldn't"
She's laughing.
"She turned you down?"
"She doesn't want to hurt me"
It's sweet but frustrating at the same time.
"Spencer abstain for a while..."
"Do I look like a nun?"
I don't think abstaining is an option.
"Did Ash tell you how she tore your mum a new asshole?"
