ASHLEY'S P.O.V
"You're tired?"
She keeps yawning.
"I'm okay"
"Spence you should rest"
I slowly move my arm from under her.
"Where are you going?"
"I'm going to sleep on the couch"
"Why?"
"Because you're in pain and I don't want to hurt you"
"Are you serious?"
I don't want to hurt her.
"Spencer you're in a lot of pain"
"Ash I'm not going to let you sleep on the couch"
Why?
"This is your place"
I roll over so I'm lying on my stomach.
"Please stay"
She reaches out slowly brushing her fingers through my hair.
"Spencer are you sure?"
"Ash I never thought I'd say this but I actually like sleeping in the same bed as you"
We've both changed so much.
"I obviously prefer it when you have sex with me first"
That's the Spencer I know and love.
"But if you're not going to do that you could at least just lie here with me"

She can barely move.

I lean down gently brushing my lips over hers.

She's smiling.
"So Spencer as great as the sex is you're health is more important to me"
"Now I feel bad"
When she says that I start laughing.
"You're being so sweet and I'm being all slutty"

I reach out slowly brushing my thumb over the cut near her eye.
"I'll drop the whole sex thing"

"But you should know that I'm constantly thinking of all the crazy things we could do"

She's smiling.
"Do you need anything?"

She looks exhausted.
"Okay"
I quickly reach across and switch the bedside light off.
"I love this mattress"
"I know how comfortable is it?"
I carefully move so I'm lying next to her.
"Do you have to work tomorrow?"
"No I called to let them know that I wouldn't be in for a couple of days..."
"Because of me?"'
"No just because"
If I admit that it was because of her.
She'll tell me not to bother.
"Are you comfortable?"
"I'm as comfortable as I'm going to get"
That sucks.
"Make sure you wake me if you need anything"
