"Morning"
"Hey Ky"
"Why are you up so early?"
I really don't think you can call this early.
"It's eleven thirty"
"Eleven thirty's like six o'clock in the morning for you"
I've been up for hours.
"Did you go to the shops?"
"Yer the fridge was looking a little sad..."
"What's all this?"
"It's just some stuff I grabbed for Spencer"
Why's she looking at me like that?
"How was she last night?"
"She's in a lot of pain"

It really does.
Noone should have to go through what she's been through.
"How are you?"

When I hear the bedroom door open I look up.
"Have you heard from your mum?"

She hates being fussed over.
"Are you cooking?"
When she says that Kyla starts laughing.
"Spence, Ash couldn't even burn toast"
Now they're both laughing.

When she sits down at the dining room table I walk over.
"How are you feeling today?"
"I'm okay Ash"
When I press my lips against hers she smiles.
"Anymore dreams?"

This time when I lean across and kiss her she kisses me back.
"Can you two not do that in front of me?"
"Look somewhere else Ky"
I didn't realise she'd moved.
"Where's Maddy and Zara?"
"I don't think they got much sleep last night..."
"Ash please tell me they didn't?"
Why does she look so surprised?
It's been brewing all week.

When she says that we both start laughing.

Now they're really laughing.
"Are you hungry?"
"What's on the menu?"
I quickly hop up and grab the bags off the table.

When she says that I grab three plates out of the cupboard.

When I got back to the table she was trying to undo her sling.

"Do you want me to grab you your pain killers?"
"No it's okay I've already taken them"
When she says that I sit back down and pass her a toasted sandwich.
"You bought toasted sandwiches?"

When she smells herself Kyla starts laughing.
