"Have you spoken to your mum?"
She's leaning on the shower door watching me shower.
"Spence do you really want to talk about that now?"
She's grinning.

This really isn't fair.
I'm completely naked and she's not.
"When did you speak to her last?"

I awkwardly spin around and turn off the taps.

I force a smile when she passes me a towel.

When I finally step out of the shower I look at my reflection in the mirror.

When I drop my towel over the bathtub she helps me into my sweatpants.

I stop talking when she brushes her fingers over my lips.
