This sucks.

My arm's still in a sling, so when she hugs me it's a little awkward.

When I turn around, Ashley forces a smile.

I'm dreading having this conversation with her, but it needs to happen.

When I say that she looks back at the water.

"Ashley I've invested a large amount of what I have into that bar and I can't just let it sit there"

When her eyes lock on mine, I smile.
"Ashley a couple of months ago all I cared about was my bar and my friends, but now I have you and you mean everything to me"
When I hold my hand out, she wraps her fingers around mine.

She's smiling again.
