I have failed! I said I was going to get this done before school started back up...but school started yesterday...I'm not even halfway there yet...not even a forth...but I'm still going to work on this since people are still reviewing and following and I can't disappoint you guys, I love you all!

Quinn Twilight: Could you please do a chapter where kid is included in the Opposite Day plans? And he could be dressed all symmetrically and trow fits about having symmetry on and around him... It sounds weird but then again I am too XD

23) Kid's Opposite Day Success

"As most of you already know, tomorrow is opposite day. I will allow you to participate in the fake holiday as long as you do your work." Stein stated the bell ending the school day ringing just seconds after he finished. "Remember, don't use it as an excuse not to do your homework over the weekend!" He shouted over the class as the students left, half of them hearing what the professor had said.

"Opposite day? What in the world is that?" Kid asked as he, Soul, Liz and Patty the rest of their friends around the steps of the DWMA building.

"You are so sheltered dude." Soul chuckled.

"You really don't know?" Liz asked. The young shinigami shook his head. "It's nothing too complicated."

"It's simple, pretty much for one day everything is the opposite of what it usually is." Soul explained before Liz could, knowing she might end up taking too long or something like that.

"What do you mean?" Kid asked.

"Yes means no and no means yes." Patty said.

"That's it?"

"Not really. There's a lot of people who get way too into it." Soul stated. "Maka, Black-Star, Tsubaki and myself are some of those people." He added with a smirk.

"How do you take opposite day too far?"

"By becoming the opposite of ourselves. We still have yes meaning yes and no meaning no, we just make ourselves be the people that are complete opposites of us."

"That actually sounds fun." Liz stated.

"I wanna do it! I wanna do it!" Patty cheered and clapped her hands together.

"You wanna do what?" Black-Star asked as he, Maka and Tsubaki walked in and joined the group's conversation.

"Opposite day." Liz answered for her hyper sister. "The little thing you, Soul, Maka and Tsubaki do."

"I don't think you three can handle opposite day like we can." Black-Star said with a hint of a challenge in his voice.

"We could probably do it better than you." Kid snapped, putting his hands on his hips.

"Bullshit. I bet you couldn't make the whole day without switching back."

"I'll take that bet and I'll beat you." Kid said before walking away from the group." Come on Liz, Patty, we need to get ready for tomorrow."

"What just happened?" Maka and Tsubaki asked together.

"Where is Kid?" Black-Star asked as he adjusted the bottom of his button up shirt.

"Do you really think I care?" Tsubaki scoffed.

"He totally chickened out." Maka chuckled.

"Who knows..." Soul said softly.

"Speaking of the devil." Maka stated and pointed at the three teens that walked over. Black-Star's jaw dropped at the sight of Kid. The boy was wearing a pair of baggy jeans that had holes on only one side and a shirt that had one sleeve rolled up while the other was down all the way. His hair was messy and he even had a colored contact in one eye so one was golden and the other was green.

"Sup, dudes and dudettes." Kid stated and grabbed Black-Star to plant a quick kiss on his lips.

"I have to admit Kid, you are doing better than I first thought you would." Black-Star said after snapping out of his shocked state.

"So what do ya'll wanna do today?" Kid said after giving the star a wink.

"I do need new sh-". Liz shook her head. "I mean let's go to a comic book store." She said and she fixed one of her suspender straps. Patty kept a blank face and nodded in agreement with her sister.

"The comic store? Sounds cool." Maka chuckled. "Let's go tiny-dick." She said, wrapping her arm around Soul's shoulder.

"There's no need to call me that." Soul snapped weakly.

"Payback." Maka told Soul in a whisper, looking like as if she wasn't breaking character.

The teens spent the rest of the day inside of a large mall that held several stores. Liz gave up on keeping her act up after they entered a shoe store, she really wanted a new pair of shoes. Everyone else was able to keep their act together throughout the whole trip, Patty had a few close calls though. Kid impressed Black-Star with how well he was doing, he was actually doing to well. Kid make many perverted comments to Black-Star to the point where the star was having a hard time keeping a blush away from his cheeks. Especially when they left the building, Kid had held the door open for him and as the assassin walked through the young shinigami said 'looking good sexy' and slapped his rear. By the time they had returned the sun had set and the grinning moon was well up in the sky.

"Now I understand how you feel when I act like that." Black-Star sighed.

"When you act like what?" Kid asked with false innocence and followed the star into the kitchen.

"Nothing." Black-Star said and pulled out a cup from a cabinet.

"You can't just say something and then change your mind." The young shinigami stated with a smirk. He stepped forward and put his hands on top of Black-Star's hips.

"Okay, that's weird." The star's voice raised as he spoke and he removed Kid's hands. Black-Star turned around and filled his cup up with water from the sink.

"Don't be like that." Kid said softly and turned Black-Star around, grabbing his cup and setting it on the counter the star was now leaning against. The assassin's face finally flushed as Kid pressed their lips together. The kiss only lasted a second and when the young shinigami parted he looked past Black-Star then started walking away without another word, fixing his hair as he did so.

"What?" Black-Star turned around and found a clock behind him that read midnight, Opposite Day was over. "Get your ass over here!" Black-Star shouted and grabbed the paler boy by wrapping his arms around his waist.

"Get off of me! I have to change!" Kid snapped. "I look horrible!"

"I think you look fine, sexy." Black-Star smirked.

"I liked it better when you behaved." Kid muttered.

"I liked it better when you were fun." The star said and flipped the other boy to kiss him.

"You'll just have to wait till next year." Kid said and pinched Black-Star's nose with a hand.

"Do I have to?" Black-Stat asked, his voice sounding strange. Kid's response was using his hand to move the star's had up and down.

This chapter was a lot cuter and funnier than I thought it would be...
