So I recalled myself sitting in class one day and I noticed how uneven and out of place and I was like...I'm pulling a Death The Kid moment. And thus the idea of the boy going through my class schedule with a twist was born.

Note: All names are fake but some friends may realize who each character is...so have fun. ;3

31) Odd School Day

Period 1-Spanish 3

Kid entered the very decorated room and sat down in his seat without a word shared to the other teens in the room. He pulled a binder out of his bag and opened it to the list of words they were going to be tested over throughout the week.

"God I hate people, they should all just go home!" A girl announced as she walked into the room. Her curly hair bounced as she over dramatically sat down in her own seat.

"You say that everyday Val." The girl who sat next to her said.

"I may, but it's always true. It's like everyone knows how to piss me off in the hall." Val stated. "Oh, let me just stand in a large group in the middle of the hall and not allow you through without having to say things and give you a 'you're a total bitch' look as you pass." She stopped her rant when the teacher entered the room.

"Hola clase." The teacher greeted.

"Buenos días Señora." Everyone in the room said together.

"We're doing a worksheet today over Ser vs. Estar since your videos are due tomorrow." The teacher stated as she passed out the assignment.

"Can we just not?" Val asked.

"Unless you want to fail, yes." The teacher stated and returned to her desk. "You'll be working in groups of three." She listed off the groups and the final three were Kid, Val and the girl who Val talked to in the beginning of class.

"Lord take me now." Kid sighed as his group assembled together.

"I could take care of that with a simple flick of the wrist with a sharp knife." Val said as she raised and lowered her eyebrows. Kid let out several rude curses in his mind as he worked with the two girls, surprised at how well they worked together and the ended up getting done with a minute to spar to pack up before the bell.

Period 2- Choir

Kid was greeted by a loud low note coming from the confusing Val, how did she beat him to the room? She went to her friend's locker and talked to her before coming down.

"I feel like my balls just dropped." Val chuckled, the group she was with laughed as well.

"Class, let's get started shall we?" The music teacher said, gesturing with her hands for everyone to get into their spots. The group went through their songs and again Kid was wondering about the strange girl named Val. She seemed way into the music than she should be and she made jokes after every song. He's been in class with the girl for a full quarter and she still confused him.

Period 3- Gym

"Your mother's a crack-whore and father's a hooker!" Kid turned around at the odd statement as Val and several other girls left their locker room.

"Hey Kid, wanna stretch together?" A boy who looked like he shouldn't even be in gym class asked.

"Sure..." Kid answered as he watched Val have a conversation with a group and doing a strange dance.

"Partner up!" The gym coach shouted over the talking teens. Kid looked over at Val as he pushed the blonde boy's back to help him reach his foot with his hands while he sat on the ground. Val was squatting as she pushed on the girl she was with and she dug her nails into the girls back, making her let out a squeal and laugh. "Switch." Kid sat on the ground and ignored the odd one-liners Val made as she stretched herself. "Today we're doing the mile, on the street path."

"Oh God, effort." Val sighed.

"Fifteen-thirty is your cutoff, be ahead of me and you'll be fine." The coach went outside followed by the students.

"I'm surprised you were with gym-boy-swag." Val said to Kid while they were standing at the starting and ending spot.

"Who?"

"Caleb. He's gym-boy-swag, too fit for gym and wears his shorts too high on the occasion."

"Really?"

"Yeppers."

The coach blew on his whistle to start the time and Kid forced himself to slow down just enough to be ahead of the girl that kept stating 'I'm too fat for this' along with several other jokes that actually caused him to laugh sometimes.

Period 4- Zoology

"We're feeding Spencer today." The teacher announced as he put his pet snake into a small tank with a live mouse inside of it as well. Everyone found amusement out of it and circled around the table with the snake...all except for Val, who sat at her desk alone with a book open in front of her. Kid noticed some of the comments the classmates and teacher were making made her flinch and he swore he saw her eyes water up. For a while he thought she was going to just leave the room, but she pulled through with reading her book until the bell rang and went to her next period without even looking in the direction of the tank. Val was such an odd girl.

Period 5- Study Hall

Kid didn't have anything to work on in study hall so he spent the whole time watching the girl that's been catching his attention all day. Black-Star was never going to believe that a girl has caught his attention. Val made several jokes with a girl that had also been in the choir class, they talked about what had happened and their plans on trying out for the audition choir that got most of the musical attention.

Period 6-Lunch

"Hey Kid, get your little pale ass over here and sit with us!" Val called from across the lunchroom and with everyone staring at him Kid didn't have much of a choice. "Let me introduce everyone. This is our flamer Pete."

"I'm just gay, I don't set things on fire." Pete stated.

"Yet. And this is our nerd Laura."

"Anime nerd."

"Will you guys stop correcting me?" Val snapped. "This is our 'good girl' Sarah and the normal one; Minnie Mouse."

"I'm just Minnie, Val."

"Says the girl in the red and white shirt." Val said and winked.

"I just got a text from Darren." Pete said and pulled out his phone.

"Ya whore Pete." Val and Sarah said in unison. Kid couldn't prevent himself from laughing with the rest of the table.

"It's the leader of the Amish Mafia." Val said to a girl as she walked by, she laughed as she rolled her eyes and joined her own table.

"You're odd Val." Kid stated.

"When was I ever not?" Val asked with a straight face.

"Back in the day when Pete was straight." Laura answered.

"Pete was straight?" Val cockered her head, getting the whole table the laugh again.

Period 7- English

"How's it going White Mr. T and Normal Mr. T?" Val asked as she and Kid entered the room.

"I just burned down the school." The one called 'White Mr. T' answered.

"That's the third time this week." Val said.

"I think I might have a problem."

"You're only problem is that you're living." The girl that sat in front of White Mr. T said.

"Would you like some ice for that burn?" Normal Mr. T asked.

"Class, settle down and work on your projects." The teacher stated after the bell rang. Kid spent the period on his book project and didn't watch anyone else, but his mind did trail to how an odd girl like Val could be so well liked. She was weird. She made really messed up comments and she's not the best looker nor the brightest tool in the shed, how is she liked by so many people?

Period 8- Art

"You're so slow Val." The girl across the table from Val commented as the girl pulled out her artwork.

"But she's doing really well." Kid stated as he compared his drawing to Val's. Hers looked a lot better then Kid's she even made it perfectly symmetrical, she did it a lot easier than Kid did. He and Val talked about the best colors to use for shading a glass Coca-Cola bottle, the conversation taking a large part of the class and they only got a shade of green sketched out by the time it was time to clean up. Val was actually easy to talk to, it shocked Kid a little at the fact.

Period 9- Pre-Calc

As Val and Kid walked towards their last class of the day. A thin boy walked up to Val and greeted her.

"How's being fabulous?" He chuckled.

"I should be asking you." Val said with a hint of something else.

"I told you I'm not gay."

"Honey, a circle is straighter than you. The only thing straight you are is straight-up bitch. You're so gay you make Pete look straight."

"I love you too." The boy said with a sneer.

"I try my best Jacob."

"See you at practice." Jacob said as Val and Kid walked off.

"You have strange friends." Kid said.

"I attract the weird ones, but Lord love them." Val laughed.

The class insisted of the teacher taking notes with the class and asking students to answer questions. When Kid was called, he answered without a problem but when Val was asked she seemed to be snapped out of a trace she was in. She must've been working on the night's homework. Val got the answer after a brief moment of stuttering and she continued her zoned out writing and pressing of her calculator. Kid guessed that Val wasn't that bad of a person, just...loud.

After School- Theatre

"Is that another one of your 'kids' Val?" A blonde with a tight bun on the very top of her head asked.

"Nah, he's in my class." Val said and dropped her bag on a desk. "So how's planning Harold's and Jamie's wedding?"

"It's going fantastic." The girl clapped her hands. "It's happening in April when me and Leslie are getting married."

"What are you talking about?" Kid asked.

"It's a theatre thing." Jacob answered from the stage as he played with the couch, covering it with a sheet.

"It's a Beca thing." Val corrected.

"The King of Sexy has arrived!" A brunette boy announced as he entered the room with a blonde boy with curls that almost matched Val's.

"You wish Mack." Beca stated.

"Looking up gay porn Maya?" Val asked a short red-head girl who sat at a desk with an ipad playing something on it.

"No, I'm watching Nu'est's video of Face."

"You and your Koreans." Val chuckled and watched the video over the other girl's shoulder.

"You have to admit they're hot."

"Can't argue with that."

"Alright guys, we need to start as soon as possible, I have a play to watch so let's go." A man said as he entered the room.

"Steveward!" Val cheered.

"It's just Steve, are you trying to compare me to Squidward? Are you saying I'm boring?"

"You? Boring? That's not possible." The way Val said her sentence confused Kid on weather she was serious or joking.

"God I feel fat." Beca said as she climbed on to the stage.

"Honey, if you're fat then I have my own gravitational pull." Val stated and went on the stage as well.

"Oh no." Jacob said as he slowly stepped closer to Val.

"Go set yourself on fire." Val snapped.

"Bye guys...I have to go." Kid said and started leaving the room.

"See ya Kid!" Val shouted and the last thing Kid heard was a harsh curse Val said to Jacob.

Kid entered his room of his temporary home, seeing Black-Star laying on his bed; attempting to get a cookie in his mouth from his stomach.

"How was your day?" Kid asked the star.

"Alright. Met a weird dude named Jacob, he's reads way too much messed up stuff online for his own heath. You?"

"Remember Val?"

"The chick with way too curly hair?"

"Yeah, she's actually a lot cooler than I first thought."

"Really?"

"I guess I learned that you can't judge a book by her cover."

"Or her really strange threats and insults."

Dear me oh my that was a long chapter. But fun yes?

Whole chapter was about Kid learning to accept people for who the are...totally worth the pain in my fingers right now.
