The next few days were Full of training for Naruto.
He was still working on his Saoring Kunai and just overall Chakra control. But in-between that, he worked hard in physical training, Kenjutsu, and working on his passive senses.
He worked harder than ever to try and get stronger.
But he seemed to have reached a control bottleneck.
His Kenjutsu was slowly getting better, but his chakra related training had slowed to a halt.
He needed something to kickstart a breakthrough of some kind, and so he turned to Fenrir.
"Fenrir, is their any cool Jutsu my mother had? Something that took a lot of control to use?" Naruto asked as he sat at the dinner table eating his Honey glazed pork rice balls.
Fenrir seems to think for a second, "Hmmm... Not really, she was a seal master, and apart from the occasional water jutsu, she didn't have anything special... Unless you count her Sealing Chains" the wolf said as he but down into his own rice ball.
"Sealing chains?" Naruto questioned, he hadn't heard about those before.
Fenrir chuckeld, "They were magnificent. The pinnacle of Fuinjutsu distilled into a bloodline that most Uzumaki had. They were Golden chains that sprouted form the users back, they were used to seal away Chakra from opponents and even used to fight the Tailed beasts at a few points. They were amazing to see in action... But thinking of it now, you might be able to awaken them"
"Really?" Naruto was excited at the prospect of learning something his Mother could do, even if to only make him feel closer to her.
"Sure, I believe The Uzumaki had a seal that drew out the chakra necessary to form them and then shaped the chakra into the chains. It's a first-time activation kickstart sort of thing, and it would certainly be helpful if you ever want to control that bastard Fox"
Naruto was confused at the way Fenrir talked about the Fox, "Do you know him, you seem to speak with such Familiarity" Naruto asked.
Fenrir chuckled at his words, "Familiar is putting it lightly. My father and that Sly Fox were... Acquaintances. I knew him before he was sealed in Mito Uzumaki. But at that point he was bitter form the way Humans had been treating him and the other tailed Beasts. My father disagreed with the Uzumaki's choice to seal him away, but he respected the fact that they did it because he was getting too wild and was a danger to Konoha and Uzu. To make a long story short, we did have a rivalry going on, me wanting to beat him in a fight and prove myself better than the mightiest do the Tailed Beasts..." Fenrir had a strange look in his face, one of sadness and longing.
Naruto had never seen him like that before, and it made him feel bad.
"Well... Is there a way to talk to him? I mean, if I could, Maybe you can too?" Naruto asked.
Fenrir looked up with surprise, but he just shook his head and Chuckled, "That would require either a Yakamada with enough strength of will to approach the Foxes soul, Or a deep dive into the seal itself... Both are a bad idea, especially with how you are now... Too rowdy and easily swayed by your emotions" Fenrir said.
Naruto finished his rice balls, and stood up.
"Then what if you came with me? Into the seal and kept me in check?"
Fenrir stopped and sighed, "You're asking me to directly touch your soul with my own, it might be safe because I have good control, but their might be something that goes wrong... I couldn't live with myself in I somehow ended up hurting you" Fenrir said.
"What if Tengan used a seal?" Naruto asked looking over at Tengan who had been quietly listening.
"I mean... I could whip something up... To keep things stable" Tenagn said, a few thoughts running through his head.
Fenrir looked at Tengan, his eyes filled with hope.
"Could you really make it safe?" He asked, his voice more serious than ever.
Tengan nodded, "if you want to awaken the Chains now, while I Sort out the seal, We can do it tonight?" Tengan said confidently.
Fenrir thought for a second.
He was conflicted.
He could see an old friend, and do it without hurting his family.
But it would also make things harder on Naruto.
If the Fox saw Fenrir working with the boy he was jailed in, it might cause trouble with him.
Was he going to risk it?
Fenrir, in the end sighed and stood up.
"Okay... We'll do the Chains now, and as for the Fox... Leave it till the morning. I want to inform Hiruzen that we're going to be making contact, it's the least amount of respect I can give the man" Fenrir said.
Tengan nodded, and finished off his Rice balls, leading Fenrir and Naruto to his Sealing Lab.

Naruto aat in the middle of the Seal, a large piece of paper stuck to his shirtless back.
Fenrir stepped forward and put his hands on the seal, pulsing chalra through it.
All at once, Naruto felt more alive than ever, but exhausted to the point of blacking out.
He felt the white hot heat of the chains as they exited his back and curled so they sat at the sides of his vision.
They were golden and the tips had what seemed to be large Kunai like spikes on them, Naruto reached out to touch them, and retracted his hand, from the shock of Chakra he felt as his fingers grazed them.
He tried to stand, wanting to try to use them properly, but instantly fell to the ground, landing on his back with a thud, his muscles were weak, and he felt his vision slowly darken.
"Fenrir... I think I used too much Chakra..." Naruto said as the Wolf kneeled beside him.
"Dotn worry, sleep it off, We'll be here when you wake up" the wolf said as Naruto finally blacked out.
But it felt weird.
He felt like he was still awake, and as he opened his eyes, and found himself in what seemed to be a Large underground tunnel, he was shocked to see what he saw when he sat up.
A large gate in front of him, a single sealing tag placed on the lock, complex symbols etched onto the paper.
Suddenly, he felt the space rumble and shake.
Suddenly, from the other side of the cage, he felt a presence that was strangely alian and familiar.
And as the head of a Large Fox, with pair of glowing red eyes eyes, appeared from the darkness.
Naruto panicked.
He was frozen in place, he didn't want to make the first move in front of the Nine-Tails.
"You really are an Ugly brat" He Fox said, "I thought with That stupid little pup around you'd end up more handsome by proxy"
Hearing the fox mention Fenrir, Kicked Naruto into gear.
"Your the Fox? The one that's made my life a living hell?" Naruto asked.
The Fox smiled a terrifying smile, his teeth as sharp as a Kunai, and as large as Fenrir in his small wolf form.
"That is me. Why? Do you wish strike me down? To get revenge?" the Fox sneered.
Naruto thought about it for a second, but shook his head.
"No, it wouldn't do me any good. What's done is done, I can't change the past. But that's not important..." Naruto said.
"Oh? You dont want revenge? Even after I drove your mother into a state of wanting to kill herself?" The fox said.
Naruto felt his blood boil, but before he could say anything, he felt something.
Like a splash of cold water washing over him, and a voice that came form behind him.
"Now now, Foxy. That isn't any way to talk to my family"
Naurto turned to see Fenrir.
"How?" Naruto asked.
Fenrir chuckeld, "When you fainted The seal that kept the Fox in here appeared and glowed with his red chakra, I assumed it meant trouble, so I'm here without the protecting of a seal, so just stay calm and be prepared for me to drag you out" Fenrir said as he walked up past Naruto and to the cage.
"Fenrir... It is good to see you've grown up... You're no longer that annoying brat I used to know" The fox said.
"And your still that Despicable Asshole who would use anything to hurt someone... It's good to see you haven't changed" Fenrir said.
"Such honeied words won't get you anywhere... Now tell me, how are things? I can't see much of the brats memories, but I could see your clearly and a few other parts" The fox asked.
"Stuff is good. I'm in Konoha as Naruto's Clan regent. And Naruto is coming along well with his training, he seems to be more like an Uzumaki everyday, Just a few days ago we found he had Storm Release"
The fox, cringed at the mention of the village and the Kekkei Genkai.
"So your the Dog of the Uzumaki now? How the mighty have fallen" the Fox said.
"It's not like that!" Naruto said.
The fox shifted his gaze to the boy, and smiled.
"Oh, really? Then tell me. How is it?"
"He's my family! Fenrir had been like a brother to me, He's taught me so much about who I am... I owe him everything I am and will become" Naruto said.
Fenrir was shocked at Naruto's feelings, and so was The fox.
"So you think yourself worthy of standing next to Fenrir?" The fox asked.
"Not in a millions years, will I be able to stand next to him... But I will try my best to get to that point as soon as possible!" Naruto said.
The fox was silent.
And Fenrir smiled at Naruto.
The fox looked at Fenrir, and he nodded.
The fox sighed and shook his head.
"If you plan of doing so, you'll need my help... And as much as I hate you Uzumaki... I can't be the one with such a weak Jinchuriki... I can only imagine what Shukaku would say..." he said with a grumble.
Naruto ignored the part about Shakaku, and walked forward.
"Then lets make a deal" Naruto said.
"You help me be able to stand next to Fenrir, and actually beat him in a fight... And you can keep your pride?" Naruto said.
The fox shield and laughed.
"You think I am so easily swayed by word?... No, I will save your life when you are too week and pathetic to defend it yourself. And in return, I want yout allow me to use your senses... It gets boring in here" the fox said.
Naruto nodded, "Fine. But I get to call on your chakra when I need it in a fight" Naruto said.
"Not a chance! You get it once a month, any more And I'll start asking favours of you!" the Fox threatened.
"Naruto cursed under his breath, but nodded.
Fenrir chuckled from the sidelines, "Then the deal is made, And as the witness, I shall enforce it on both sides" he said as he glanced at the fox.
"Really? A wolf pact? Do we have to?" The fox asked.
Fenrir nodded.
Naruto was confused, but after Fenrir explained it, the started to make the oath bound by honor.
"I, Kurama, Nine-Tailed Fox, Pledge my pride on this deal" he said lazily.
"I, Naruto Uzumaki, head of the Uzumaki Clan, Pledge my Pride on this deal"
"And then I, Fenrir, Alpha of the Wolves, seal this Pledge"
After they were done, The fox named Kurama, Curled up into his cage.
"I grow tired of both of you, your giving me a head ache just by being here. Leave" Kurama growled.
Fenrir nodded an put his hand on Naruto's shoulder.
Then like he had been dipped into an ice bath, Naruto's entire world flashed and he found himself laying down on the floor, Fenrir kneeling next to him, with his hand on Naruto's stomach.
