victoria cranor: I have a request for the next chapter, I want to know what would happen when Maka and Soul aminded their feelings for each other, get married and have kids.

So as you can tell wit the request, this chapter is going to be more of a SoulxMaka one-shot. A future one-shot. (This request actually gave me the idea for the next multi-chapter KidStar story.)

35) The Good Old Days

Maka put the last piece of clothing into the drawer and let out a tired sigh. She cocked her head and picked up a framed photo that sat on the top of the dresser.

"It only seems like yesterday." Maka said with a smile.

"What only seems like yesterday?" Soul asked as he entered the room.

"Our wedding." She answered after the scythe gave her a quick kiss.

"I remember that was when Black-Star got drunk off of his ass." Soul chuckled.

"Poor Kid, he had to drag him out of the room after he passed out." Maka giggled.

"Remember how long it took those two to get together?" Soul asked as he picked up another framed photo.

"Almost as long as it took us." The scythe meister placed her photo down and went over to the bed, sitting down.

"At least when I asked you out it wasn't as awkward as Black-Star demanding a date from Kid in the middle of a class period."

"Kid looked like he was ready to kill the boy on sight."

"Stein had the same look." The two adults laughed and Soul joined his wife on the bed. "I think Sid needed glue to close his jaw when Black-Star and Kid kissed in front of him that one time."

"If I recall correctly, that was an accident because you pushed them together after Black-Star dumped a bucket of water on your head." Maka stated.

"He was so immature back then."

"He still is and so are you." Maka gave the man a light shove to the shoulder.

"At least you've matured...in some ways." Soul said, pointing at Maka's protruding chest. "I don't think it's proper to call your wife tiny-tits."

"It's not proper to call anyone tiny-tits, tiny-dick." Maka stuck out her tongue.

"Well this tiny-dick was enough for you."

"Mommy?"

"And enough to make her." Maka shushed the man. "I remember when your dad caught us together that on time."

"Soul!" Maka snapped. "What is it Kami?" She asked the young girl that stood at the open doorway.

"Blacky and Kiddy's here." Kami said, pointing away from herself.

"What?" The two adults asked.

"Hey! What's up guys!?" Black-Star's shout made the young girl squeal in surprise.

"Hello Maka, Soul, how are you?" Kid asked.

"What are you guy's going here?" Soul asked and stood up, sharing a hug with Black-Star and a handshake with Kid.

"We were just in the neighborhood..."

"Black-Star wanted to see little Kami." Kid stated the truth as Black-Star chuckled.

"Blacky!" Kami jumped up into the man's arms and Black-Star lifted her high in the air and made airplane noises. He walked out of the room with a giggling Kami in his hands.

"He wants a child so badly." Kid stated as he leaned against the doorframe.

"Why don't you two just adopt?" Maka asked.

"I don't think anyone would trust Black-Star with a child, we'd be the only couple denied a child." The shinigami stated.

"I'm sure they'd give you one, you're Death the Kid." Soul said.

"Yeah, but he's Black-Star." Kid chuckled. Black-Star popped his head into the room.

"Can Kami have a cookie?" The star asked.

"One, she's going to bed soon and we don't need her to be on a sugar high." Maka answered. Black-Star smiled at the woman and popped back out.

"You sounded like a mother there." Kid smirked.

"That's what happens after you spend five hours in labor, you want to keep that child safe. I didn't go through all of that pain for her to end up like Stein or something worse."

"Like Black-Star." Soul said. The three laughed and Kid shook his head.

"He's actually gotten a lot better than when we were teens, still crazy, but his ego's shrank a little."

"Bullshit." Maka muttered.

"What does 'bullshit' mean?" Kami asked, standing at the door with a cookie in her hand.

"Oh..." Soul's sentence trailed.

"She...she wanted to thank you." Black-Star scratched the back of his head.

"Um...good luck with that. Let's go Black-Star." Kid ducked out of the room, dragging the star with him.

"Bye guys!" Black-Star said as they left.

"So what does it mean?" Kami asked again.

"It's a word that only adults can say." Soul answered.

"Why can only adults say it?"

"Because." Maka said.

"Because why?"

"Just because."

"But why?"

"Oh my, she's been hanging out with Black-Star too much." Maka sighed.

"It's something that you'll understand when you're older." Soul said with a smile.

"Why do I have to wait?"

"Why do you ask so many questions?" The scythe muttered.

"Would you look at the time, time for bed Kami." Maka stood up and scooped the little girl off of the ground. Kami giggled then sneezed a moment later. When she moved her hands away, the adults saw that her nose had become a small scythe blade.

"Oh no."

This was so cute! Oh me oh my that was so much fluff, I can't handle it!

Kind of a short chapter and they spent the whole time talking...but I tried, I really did. I hope it was what you were looking for victoria cranor. If not...sorry, I can try again if you want.
