Naruto had updated his Training regime. It was the first day of his third year, and the class had started to focus on the Clone, Replacement, and Transformation Jutsus, instead of just occasionally having them brought up.

But Naruto was having problems with the Clone and Transformation Jutsu's.

For the Clone Jutsu, it seemed that He could only get it right 100% of the time, when he put his full focus on it. Any other time it was a flip of a coin.

This would open him up for an attack, and he wasn't very happy with having such a glaring weakness and opening.

And with the Transformation Jutsu, He could not hold the jutsu for very long. He could use it fine, in fact, he could make a pretty believable copy of pretty much anybody he got a look at, maybe only having a few inches of extra hair, or slightly miscoloured Eyes.

But when it came to holding the Illusion and having it still work if he was touched or distracted, then he failed.

It was this problem that he was determined to fix, so he picked up a few scrolls on Chakra theory and collected some items that he would use to help him improve his control.

It meant that Naruto's other training would be shuffled around to instead of a weekly schedule, to a monthly on, instead if Kenjutsu as Naruto wanted to not let his Sword Skills get rusty.

First, Naruto started with the Method that had gotten him this far.

The Dodge Control Exercise, where he covered this body in leaves, and had to dodge any attack that Fenrir threw at him.

To improve the exercise, he had asked Hinata, Shikamaru and Sasuke to replace Fenrir as the attacker, but to come at him all at once, with maximum force.

Which was made possible with the Tournament Seal.

And so they started.

Sasuke spewed fire at Naruto, Hinata spat Water bullets, and Shikamaru used a very deadly Shadow Jutsu that worked similar to his Shadow possession, but it was faster and instead of simply curving the shadows around the target to control them, the shadows latched onto the target, and stabbed into them.

Naruto had been dodging for a while, avoiding the attacks perfectly and not loosing any leaves so far, but then Naruto was surprised to feel the Pain in his legs as the Shadows stabbed into him, as a few leaves fell from his forehead.

But after the snapped the shadows off, and he pushed Chakra into his legs to keep up his speed while he slowly healed, He became a lot more vigilant of his surroundings.

It was a mistake that the wasn't willing to repeat, so he pushed himself.

He went on till the others collapsed from low chakra, and then he called Fenrir in to continue.

And finally, after Naruto collapsed from exhaustion over 12 hours after he started, he had a bit of a rest, and was then back on his feet and ready to go onto the next thing.

A true testament to his Uzumaki Stamina and Amazing Chakra Recharge rate.

He had heard of a Technique called Chakra threads, Which was traditionally used to control battle Puppets. But it was also said the technique required a lot of control.

And Naruto usually learned faster when he had a goal or a single objective to work towards.

And so for the next three days, apart from in the Academy, he trained the technique until he could use it effectively.

He could move light objects with the threads normally, but Naruto also learned that if he leveraged the Threads over a Tree branch and wrapped the threads around the target, making a sort of pully system, and reinforcing the Hold they had on the target, he could brute force a few larger, heavier objects.

Which became a way he trained the Threads Toughness.

He tried to incorporate the Technique into his fighting style, as a way to expand his Arsenal, but it proved too difficult, with his most powerful attacks being long-range Jutsu, and AOE-type jutsu, he would be at most able to use the Threads to Bind people. But he already had his Sealing Chains for that, so the technique was pushed to the back of his mind.

Next was a Chakra control exercise, that incorporated the fundamental theory of what Chakra was made of.

Physical energy and Spiritual energy, mixed in a perfect balance, was the ingredients of chakra.

But most people never had a perfect balance, there for some people chakra was better suited for certain Jutsu, while others were suited for a different Set.

And so this exercise was all about altering the Chakra Composition and achieving a perfect balance.

It took a lot of meditation and concentration, before Naruto even began to feel the two different energies swirling around at his centre.

And from there, it took him 3 months of solid practice to clearly see and even alter the Composition of his chakra.

Naruto's chakra was heavily leaning towards Physical energy. It was a byproduct of his Uzumaki vitality and also having the half of the Kyuubi that was similarly aligned sealed in him. So he slowly started to push and edge more Spiritual energy into the mix.

It was exhausting, and the work was slow, but by the time Naruto had had started altering his Chakra Composition, He had already improved his control by leaps and bounds.

His problem was almost fixed, but there was still a small chance of failure for the Clone, and the Illusion of the Transformation Jutsu, could still and world still, Break randomly if he was pulling too much chakra into a Jutsu.

But for now, he was happy with his progress.

He had reached a level where he was just above average for his Age, and because of all the Control Practice, His Jutsu's had gotten stronger.

Naruto's ninjutsu had all taken a large leap in overall power. Especially Soaring Kunai, which had become a very effective way to buy time and distract his opponents with multiple kunai that seemed to follow them and curve in the air to try and sneak attack them. And by this point, Naruto could effectively control 10 kunai.

It was also through this Training that Naruto's chakra chains could extend longer, move faster and with more precision and because of this, Naruto even began to use them in his combat style.

Sure it became a little distracting when he had to focus on the Kunai, dodging, and the Chains, but a Naruto was slowly beginning to get the hang of things.
