They were lying side by side in their sofa creases, completely drained after the liveshow they did. Emotionally especially.

"I think I'm just going to order takeout. I'm too tired to do cook", Phil moaned closing his eyes. AHS was going on tv which they both loved but they couldn't really concentrate on it this time. Dan was shaking inside from what he had just revealed to everyone. He was tired, but excited as well. Almost high on the feelings.

"If I'm going to change my diet to actually eating something, I don't think the easier route is going to be greasy takeout food, Phil. Also, let's try actually being healthy if that's alright with you. I can cook, you don't have to bother. You've already done me a great deal by being by my side at that. Thanks", Dan said tiredly, but gratefully as he slowly got up from the sofa.

"But you're the one who actually had to go through a hell of a struggle back there. Though I think they took it well. But you shouldn't have to try to cook. I know that's hard too. Let me help you with that. And you've got a point. I want to be healthier too. Those takeout foods are really high in sodium usually. Let's put some vegetables into the oven and boil some rice. That's good, right?" Phil suggested as he too got up.

"I guess", Dan mumbled. They went to the kitchen and Dan started to rummage through the fridge to take out all the vegetables they were going to use. "Don't put too much garlic in it this time", Phil said as he took out the frying pan and put it on the stove. "But garlic is what's good for you, spork. Get the vinaigrette and the bowl, please?" Dan said while washing the vegetables and beginning to cut them on the wooden chopping board.

"Right. Here you go", Phil responded and put the items on the counter for Dan.

"Do you think I can go on Tumblr now? I've been too scared to go there for months now, afraid that I'm going to see something terrible going on about me. I still haven't seen the pictures even", he confessed with his gaze firmly strained on the cutting board as he cut the red peppers.

"You don't have to worry about what other people think about you. You know that already, love. There's nothing they can do to harm you unless you let them. Why let their opinion on you matter if you're happy about yourself already the way you are? You matter when it's about you."

"But the thing is, I'm not happy about myself. That's the sad, harsh truth, Phil", Dan said sadly. Phil had to agree with that even if it was not the answer he wanted to true.

"But we're going to get there. Together. But you still don't have to them affect the way you see yourself. Unless it's something positive, then it can be a nice pick-me-up. You've gone about this yourself, about how 'the internet is mean', you know why some people hate without really meaning it. But you should really see the pictures you took. They're amazing and you look beautiful in those dresses. I want to see you soon wearing the one they let you bring home", Phil commented and nudged Dan with his elbow suggestively with a grin. "Shut up", Dan laughed.

After their light meal which went better than usual as Dan really did put all his effort into eating the food and Phil was supporting him one hundred percent. And then after washing up, they decided to have an early night. They crawled in Phil's bed and curled up against each other, seeking warmth from the other.

"Tomorrow is going to be a new day with new possibilities and experiences. What happened today, happened yesterday and we'll have many, many more chances in the future, but we need to savor each one of them and make the most of them to really enjoy life", Dan murmured against Phil's hair.

"What was that?" Phil asked chuckling and looked up to Dan's eyes with a big smile on his face. He was happy about the words, but it still sounded quite odd coming from Dan.

"Just a thought. I want us to be happy", he said quietly and felt Phil's arms tighten around his waist.

"I do too. And we will. Now go to sleep, bear. You did good, I'm proud of you", Phil muttered and stroked his hand across Dan's forehead to wipe the brown locks, to really see those sparkling eyes.

"With a kiss of your sinful lips, I shall fall into deep slumber with you around me protectively", Dan said and giggled at the irony.

"Now what was that?" Phil wondered once again. "Nothin'", Dan said with another giggle as he re-positioned himself in Phil's embrace to be spooned by him, but after catching that kiss from Phil's lips.

"You're a real nutcase sometimes", Phil thought out loud to himself with smile as he hugged Dan back to his chest. The amber lamp that had been taken to his room by Dan's choice, made the younger boy's skin glow warmly and Phil pressed his lips to his shoulder, very happy and content.

It's a small chapter but I had to give you something.
