"Oh god", I muttered just before my lunch decided to make a reappearance. I don't know how long I sat there puking my guts up, but at some point about half way through, Dimitri came looking for me and when he found me he held my hair back.
"Thanks Comrade", I said. Wiping my mouth. He handed me a bottle of water and I rinsed my mouth out.
"God damnit!" Pandora came jogging Over, "you totally contaminated the water! Now we're all going to die of dehydration. NOT COOL MAN, not cool." She yelled, waving her arms around.
"She couldn't help it, she got sick", Dimitri responded in my defense.
"So? Why couldn't you just puke in a bush like a normal person?" Pandora asked, looking at me like I was crazy.
"I'm sorry, next time I have the urge to throw up I'll be sure to puke in your direction instead of the river, okay?" I asked.
"Fine," she said, "but only if Ivan is in front of me."
"You're being ridiculous, clearly there is something wrong and we should go to the doctors to make sure everything is okay", Dimitri said to Pandora.
"What's this 'we', you're referring to? I ain't goin' nowhere, but if you want to pack up and leave, then by all means, please do."
"Comrade, I'm fine, it's probably just something I ate", I said to Dimitri in reassurance.
"Are you sure though? If you're sick then we don't want it to get any worse-" "Dimitri, I'm okay, really" I said, cutting him off. He narrowed his eyes at me, "Okay, but if this contributes to happen then I want you to go to the doctors, got it?" He said. "Yeah, yeah, sure." I said waving him off. "Now let's get a tent set up because I'm tired and want to go back to sleep" "I'll drink to that!" Pandora said. I held my hand out for Dimitri to grab. When he did we made our way back to the campsite, where we were met with a few unfamiliar faces.
Ivan POV (this is going on at the same time Rose is throwing up and Dimitri and Pandora are with her)
"So, I can't help but wonder what the guy meant when he said he was expecting grand kids from Pandora and you. I mean sure, we've know each other for less than 48 hours but I think an explanation is in order, don't you?" I heard someone ask me. I looked behind me, and saw Adrian standing behind me looking at me intently.
"He's good friend of Pandora's mom, he's known her since she was born, he's basically a grandfather to her." I responded. "I could figure out that much but why YOU and Pandora? Are you guys like, secretly engaged or something?" Adrian continued. 'I wish' I thought to myself. "No, she, Dimka, and I grew up together, we're just friends." "That's it, 'just friends'?! You gotta give me something more than that!" He cried. "I can't, there's nothing left to tell." "Yeah, sure there isn't. I buy that like I buy a cheap suit" he said, crossing his arms. I sighed. "Look, there's nothing else to tell, so either help me set this tent up or shut up, or just go away." Man, this guy is annoying. "Just answer one question for me, and then I'll be out of your hair", he said. "What?" I asked irritably. "I couldn't help but hear you telling Belikov that there weren't enough tents, so does that mean we're doing boys in one girls in the other?" "No, a few others are coming and they're going to bring enough so that everyone will just have to pair up with one other person, they're stopping at the camping store on the way over here." "What are the pairs?" "I don't know, probably you and Sydney will be together, if that's your question" "Nope, my question is who are you sharing a tent with?" He asked. "I don't know, we'll make pairs when everyone is here, but Ashley, Sam and Lucy share a tent as a rule so that groups done" I responded. "Why wait? Jill and Eddie, Rose will insist on being with cradle robber, Sydney and I are going to share a tent, Christain and Lissa can share, and then who does that leave you with?" He asked, a smug look on his face, "Pandora" I mumbled. "Just friends my ass" he responded.
