Chapter 8
Tracking
"Commander, did you do what must be done?" Darth Vader asked
"Yes, sir." Cody said
"Good, now it is the end of those renegade clones. Report back to me immediately." Darth Vader said
"Yes, sir."
"And commander, bring them to me alive."
"Yes, sir." Cody said and ended the transmission
"Sir, what do you want me to do with the two girls?" a stormtrooper asked
"They're no use to us, erase their memories of what happened, and throw them out into the woods, they'll find their way back." Cody said
"Yes, sir!" the stormtrooper saluted and walked away.

"Where am I? Who are you?" Michelle asked
"You are aboard an Imperial ship. Who? That I can't answer." A stormtrooper said "It's time to go, the Empire is very busy." the stormtrooper led Michelle and Maureen out of the ship. "Ta ta." the ships' door closed and flew off.
"Mom, where are we?" Michelle asked
"I don't know." Maureen said "Lets look for a town nearby it's getting dark." Michelle nodded
They walked miles but they finally made it to a nice town.. They were stopped by a human form.
"Maureen, Michelle! You're alright!" he said hugging them
"Dad! I missed you!" Michelle said
"We both had a rough week." Maureen said
"Oh? How so?" Brian asked
"I don't remember." Maureen said rubbing her head
"Me neither." Michelle said collapsing to the floor, unconcious.
"We need to get her indoors, now!" Brian said checking her vitals

"Hello?" Michelle asked looking around the empty room and she groaned grabbing for her head. The door swished open and someone came rushing over. "You need to be laying down, Michelle! You can injure yourself further." Brian said pushing Michelle lightly back onto the medical bed. "Why don't you rest?"
"I can't." Michelle said softly
"Why not?" Brian asked
"Can't remember."
"You and your mother both." Brian said and Michelle felt uneasy.
"The Empire captured Echo and his brothers! The Empire tried to erase my memory but I pretended I did!" Michelle blurted out.
"Why didn't you tell me before?"
"I was afraid the Empire would find out."
"Well, we need to go rescue them then." Brian said
"How? They are probably heavily guarded." Michelle said
"Maybe, bur I can use my identity to sneak us in. Plus," Brian said pulling out a blaster "who gave this to you?"
"Echo, it was for my birthday."
"I see, well, do you know how to shoot?"
"Yes." Michelle said and Brian handed her the weapon.
"Show me." Brian said pointing to a poster on the wall. Michelle nodded and raised the blaster.
"Are you sure?" Michelle asked and Brian nodded. Michelle took her position at the target and pulled the trigger. The blaster shot went through the poster and into the wall. Michelle opened her eyes and saw the blast go through the middle. Michelle looked up at Brian and he had wide eyes looking down at Michelle.
"He taught you, too?" Brian asked
"Yes, and his brothers." Michelle said nodding
"Lets go." Brian said walking out of the door.
"What about mom?" Michelle asked catching up to him
"She will stay here, where she is safe." Brian said walking to the hangar.

Echo woke up to see dark figures in front of him. "Hello?" but it came all muffled 'I am drugged!' Echo scowled on the inside.
"Good you're up. We have questions for you." a figure said
"I have no answers." Echo said
"Of course you do, if you don't you will go through suffering consequences." the dark figure said "Like so." then a second figure came out and whipped him. "Now, we don't want that to go further, do we?"
"No." Echo forced out trying to hide the pain.
"Shall we continue out conversation? Why did you leave the Empire?"
'Echo, don't tell the truth.' a voice in his head called out.
"I didn't." Echo said
"Oh? How so?"
"I went to go get some other clones that left the Empire, too." Echo said
"During Order 66, and without ordered?"
"Yes."

"Michelle, do you know where they are going now?" Brian asked
"No… but I can hack their computers, and track where they are heading." Michelle said
"Imperial computers are hard to hack." a person said behind them, they both turned around around to see a Rebel soldier with scars on his face.
"Who are you?" Michelle asked
"Chopper's the name, so you are tracking down a ship, to find clones? Huh, pretty tricky for a little girl, like you." Chopper said
"Well, lucky for you, I am not like most girls."
"Know how to handle a blaster? Hack most devices? Are you stealthy? Steal things from others? Blend in like a soldier?" Chopper asked
"Yes, yes, yes, yes, and yes. I was taught by the best."
"Who?"
"Echo, and the gang."
"Echo? As in clone Echo?'
"Yep."
"Prove it."
"CT- 27- 0408. His best friend is Fives CT-5555."
"Going to get them from the Empire? Count me in." Chopper said and Michelle nodded.
"Welcome aboard." Michelle said
"So. where can we find an Imperial computer?" Brian asked
"Imperial base, we will sneak in at night and use one of the computers." Chopper said everyone nodded "It's settled then, tomorrow night, we break into an Imperial base."
