Chapter 13

Undercover

Captain Rex was walking when he noticed the same speeder from the kidnapping. "A hospital? Why would they be there?" Rex muttered to himself. When he walked through the doors there came screaming. "Sssshhh." he said to the secretary and she nodded shocked. Rex walked a couple of corridors until he reached an equipment closet and he walked in. A couple of minutes later he came out in a doctor outfit, and he walked back into the front lobby. "Do you know where a girl named 'Michelle' is?"

"Yes, she is on the second floor, second door to your right." the secretary said, not taking her eyes off the screen.

"When Rex got to the room he heard yelling coming from inside the room.

"You know, I could save everyone on my own! I don't need you, you don't need me, so you can take Echo and you can figure the rest out." a girl voice yelled and the door swished open, and a girl came storming out.

"Fine, but I don't want to see you crawling back needing help." a male voice yelled back.

"You better not do the same." she muttered and as she did, she almost bumped into Rex. "Oh, sorry about that." she moved out of the way and walked in the other direction.

Rex walked into the room and walked up to the bed. "I need to take Echo, to a recovery room on the first floor." Rex said/p

"On whose authority?" the man asked

"Brians' of course." Rex said thanking himself for reading Michelle's profile before going to the hospital.

"He didn't tell me that." the man said crossing his arms.

"He doesn't have to." Rex said "I just did." Rex grabbed Echos' bed and started to walk out of the door. The man then blocked the door.

"No, I will not let you without Brian saying it to my face." the man said

"Fine, you leave me no choice." Rex said taking his blaster out.

"You're no doctor!" the man said looking at Rexs' face "Rex, it can't be."

"Ding, ding, ding, you deserve a prize." Rex said firing his blaster and picked up the mans' unconscious body, putting him on his shoulder. Now picking Echo off the bed, putting him on his other shoulder. "Now to find Michelle, and make sure she never knows of the Empires' secrets ever again." Rex then went back into the corridor and went to search for Michelle.

Michelle ran into a storage closet and slumped to the ground. She put her head into her knees and started crying. "What have I done?" she muttered to herself.

After a couple minutes she lifted her head and noticed stormtrooper armour. "What's that doing here?" after putting the pieces together she stood up. "I have to warn Chopper!" running out of the closet.

She ran through all of the corridors on the first floor and started her way to the second floor.

Rex was about to give up when the lift doors opened and she came out. Rex got out his blaster and pointed it at Michelle.

"Chopper..." Michelle said looking at the unconscious form on Rexs' shoulder. "Who are you, and what did you do to Echo and Chopper?!"

"I am a stormtrooper and I am taking them where they belong, with the Empire." Rex said

"No, they belong free like everyone else. You belong free too, the Empire is a prison! Not like what the Republic was. The Republic fought for freedom and peace! The Empire isn't giving freedom, it is strict with no care to the people, come with us." Michelle said

"No." Rex said raising his blaster again.

"No!" Michelle said putting her hands out. Rex dropped the unconscious forms and he went flying backwards. "What?!" Michelle looked down at her hands.

Rex got up and went down the staircase, and went to the same storage closet to get his armour. He didn't bother changing, putting it in a medical bag, he ran out into the cool night.

Michelle was about to run after him, but stopped when she felt a hand on her ankle. Looking down she saw Choppers' concerned face looking at her.

"No." Chopper said groaning grabbing his head. "Let him run, we will get him back." Chopper then lost consciousness.

"Dad!" Michelle yelled through the corridor.

"What?" Brian asked coming up from behind her. "Why is Echo out of his room?"

"Long story. Chopper needs medical attention." Michelle said

"We need to get them treated immediately." Brian said getting two stretchers.

Chopper woke up to feel pain in his head and side. "You took quite a fall, Chopper." Michelle said standing by the bedside. "Luckily, I was there to save you."

"What happened?" Chopper asked

"A stormtrooper would have taken you if I wasn't there. No big deal." Michelle said

"Thank you, for what you did. I am sorry, for what I said earlier." Chopper said

"I am too." Michelle said with a faint smile.

"You what, Captain?!" Vader asked

"I had to pullback, sir." Rex said

"It was that hard to try and kill a kid, and fail?!"

"Yes, sir." Rex said not telling the whole truth.

"Well, Captain, do you need more training management, again?" Vader asked

"No, sir." Rex said

"Prove your loyalty, then, and go get the deserter and Echo. Don't even engage the girl." Vader said.

"Yes, sir." Rex saluted and ran off again into the night sky. 'I can't let Lord Vader down again. Or he will KILL me!' Rex thought. 'This time I have to be a patient, but how?' Rex walked into a clothes shop for his first plan and it will be executed flawlessly.

Author's Note: FIXED IT! YAY! I don't know if it was something on my computer or everyone, but there was codes on this chapter and I finally fixed it (I hope).
