I'm just adding this to the end of Cataclysm because I don't really have an effective way to communicate this otherwise!
First, I'll say a few words on the future of our dear Prince and his fiery companion!
Yes, there very much is going to be a sequel to Cataclysm, so don't worry, the adventures of Jarvan and Shyvana have yet to conclude. The sequel is still only in the planning stages and no actual writing has been done for it, so it might be a while till I'm able to get that story going. In the mean time, there will probably be a few short stories here and there about their daily life, adjusting to Demacia and the troubles that ensue. I've yet to decided exactly how much of that will be a part of the sequel and how much will be short pieces that take place in between Cataclysm and Cataclysm: KR (The sequel!)
There have also been comments about odd things happening here and there that seem slightly out of place... it's all setting for the story to come! Don't worry, things will make more sense in the future.
Secondly, there are going to be further updates to Cataclysm.
I took some time over the past week or so to read Cataclysm from the beginning, and I realized just how poorly I wrote many of the early chapters. I don't know if all of them are going to get full makeovers, but so far, there is a prologue that has been written and chapters one and two have been completely overhauled. They'll be published in the next few days or so, depending on if I can get someone to proofread them for me or if I have to do it myself. (Confession: I hate proof reading my own work!) This will hopefully fix a few errors in the story and the many, many grammatical and spelling errors that plague cataclysm's first half.
Thirdly, the people behind the scene.
With this story coming to a close I would like to give a couple of shoutouts to the people behind the scenes who have been great friends and have helped me so much with this story. This story wouldn't be anywhere near as good without them: My beta reader, Senstrae, who had fact checked and read all of this to ensure i didn't make a fool of myself. BaronVonWalrus, CaedusRahl, Ducksworth and Tigercule for proofreading and dealing with my constant nagging about proofreading at various points of this story.
Lastly, a massive THANKS to you, the readers!
This journey through Valoran, from the rolling sands of Shurima to the foothills of the Ironspike Mountains has been more exciting and fun than anyone could imagine. The praise, thanks and support that I have gotten from all of the readers has been the major driving force behind this project from the beginning, after I dropped the project for over a year, back in February of 2012. After finding the thread on the League of legends forums and see the massive outpouring of support for the story and so many questions of where I had dissapeared to, it really lit a fire under my ass to revamp the story and make it worth the wait! That was ten month ago, and the joruney is finally coming to an end. So thank you to every who has stuck with Jarvan, Shyvana, Isaacs, Forsythe, Quinn and I through to the end of this great story. I hope the ending lived up to your expectations, guys.
