Sorry, if i have been away, my loyal fans. I know I have a lot to explain why i have been so absentminded of not updating this story. But, you think i would just abandon it, then you are wrong. I had a lot of things i had to deal with during my absent of updating this story. Well, still dealing with some.I had computer troubles so you can blame that on my laptop. So, let's see how Danny will get out of this situation in this chapter. Now, on to the comments.

Jim89: Yea, i know. Only i will know where Danny will go. Depends on how much of a villain i will make Danny in this story.

Chapter 7: Danny Vs. Skulker

Tucker and Sam saw the exchange the two ghosts were making. Danny punched Skulker as hard and fast as he could. While the ghost was exchanging his punches as well. But, He couldn't let the hunting ghost get one hit over him. Danny could tell he was outmatch in strength, yet his speed was his ally. He was faster than Skulker, but his fingers were beginning to become sore.

"Give up my worthy adversary" Skulker announced "I will beat you and capture you again. I have done it once before and i will do it again"

"Yeah, i don't think so" Danny smirks as he was trying to evade Skulker, but the villain collected his hands and created a giant fist that hit Danny and sent the ghost to the ground. Danny created such an impact that it created a small crater. Sam and Tucker ran over to inspect the crater with their best friend inside.

"Danny!" Sam screamed as she was the first to inspect Danny's damages

"Are you okay" Tucker exclaimed

"Yes, i am" Danny shouted as he saw that Skulker was heading towards the gang. Danny looked to his friends and flew up to meet Skulker head on.

Both of the humans saw that Danny was losing the fight. No matter how fast Danny was, Skulker seemed to shrug off Danny's hits. Sam and Tucker were worried about the outcome of the fight.

"This is really bad" Sam feared

"I know" Tucker said "There are so many things i want to do"

Sam ,with a blank expression, slapped Tucker upside the head "Look, we need a way to help Danny"

"How, we don't have the technology to take him on." Tucker looked at Sam. Even if they somehow had the technology to fight the ghost, it wouldn't be as effective.

Sam turned her head to the house and smiled "Didn't this ghost say it was the 'Ghostzone's greatest hunter',"

"Yeah, why do you ask" Tucker raised a brow

"Well...If he was a ghost hunter, maybe he has some weapons that would disable ghosts" Sam smiled.

She wasn't going to sit on the sidelines while her best friend was getting hurt. She needed a way to join the fight, and she had just found the way to do so.

Danny crashed to the ground. His injuries were getting worse. His right arm was completely numb. His left leg had a hard time standing up. His chest felt very compressed to the point of it could be flat. He tried to get up hoping to fight for a bit more, but the ghost hunter's foot landed on his chest. Danny's chest was hurting more than it usually was.

"This hunt was worth the fun fight, but i must now put you down again" Skulker grinned. "I am going to really enjoy this"

From his arm came a large wrist blaster that automatically turned on. "Any last words ghost child"

"Yea, sic'em" A voice announced

Danny turns over seeing Tucker had commanded Skulker's dogs to attack their former master. Skulker's grip on Danny was undone as he tried to keep his own dogs from attacking him. "Heel, will you heel"

Sam, rushing over to Danny checks on him "Are you okay now?"

"Yea, i should be okay" Danny lied as he was trying to get up. Sam wasn't convinced and helped him up. "Ow"

Sam walked away with Danny, who was angered by Sam's efforts "What are you doing, i can take him on"

Sam looked at him as if he was crazy "Are you serious? Look at you, i am surprised you can even stand"

Tucker saw Sam and Danny struggling as he suddenly slapped both of them in their faces "You guys we need to get out of here. We don't have time for your love drama"

Both the two teens stared at their best friend. He did hold a valued point about their situation. Skulker was too strong for Danny to take on alone. Even with Sam and Tucker's help, Danny wouldn't have been able to take him on. He felt angry that he was very weak that he couldn't take him on. They had to retreat for the moment, but Danny felt his energy was draining from the fight and his capture.

"I need...a few minutes...to regain my energy" Danny trying to catch his breath. His friends looked at him hoping that he would regain his energy soon.

"How about No" Skulker roared as Sam and Tucker turned around seeing multiple bite marks on him, yet he was doing alright. "Using my own ghost dogs against me, that was very clever, but it won't save you from me"

"We know, that was just plan B" Tucker said

"This is plan A" Sam said. Danny's friends summoned large blasters they have obtained from Skulker's home as they aimed and started to fire upon him.

"AGGGGGGGHHHHHH" Skulker was send flying back from the blaster's efforts.

"Sam, Tucker what are you two doing" Danny gasped

"We are buying you time" Sam declared

"So, please get some energy back" Tucker yelled

While, Danny focused on getting his energy back, Sam and Tucker used most of what weaponry Skulker had to try and subdue him or slow him down. Tucker was worried during the course of their situation.

"This is a great plan, i just have one fear" Tucker said

"Yea what's that?" Sam asked as she felt confident in her plan.

"When do we run out of ectoplasm in our weapons" Tucker chuckled

Unfortunately, Tucker was right. The weapons that Sam and Tucker had at their disposal had ran out. Both teens chuckled seeing the large ghost confront them in anger. Tucker pulled the top of his shirt feeling embarrassed they had nothing to fight Skulker with.

"No hard feelings" He sweat with fear

"No, not really. Have a little gift. It makes a beeping noise but don't worry" Skulker smiled as he tossed a bomb over to Tucker and Sam. The bomb was immediately ticking fast.

"AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH" Tucker and Sam leaped out of the way, but had caught the bomb's blast radius. This sent both of the humans flying towards large rocks.

Danny looked in horror of what just happened.

"SAM! TUCKER" Danny yelled as he tried to rush to them, but Skulker ran up to punch him away.

Danny slid on the ground as he watched Skulker coming towards him "That is enough games, ghost child. Your friends will not save you now"

"No...No" Danny glared as he looked up at Skulker.

"I think i will finish this with an old fashioned punch to the face" Skulker announced as he readied his hand in order to finish off his prized possession,however Danny was ready for him. He stopped the arm of the ghost hunter as his hand caught his fist.

"Hey, let me go" Skulker tried to recall his hand, but it felt like it was stuck in the ground.

"Sure" Danny roared as suddenly he ripped Skulker's entire arm from his body. "AGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH"

Danny, putting down Skulker's arm, was glowing with green ghost energy "Ahhhhhhhhh"

Skulker did his best to fight without his arm. He used his right leg to fight off Danny, but much like his left arm, it was ripped from his body with incredible strength.

Skulker wobbled in fear as he saw Danny's aura had changed. This wasn't the same ghost child he fought, but his anger was powering him up. Skulker didn't notice that Danny took away his other arm and his strength destroyed the other leg.

"Woah, woah, woahhhhhhh" Skulker said as his body was in mid-air. Danny glared as his eyes were glowing green. Skulker looked into Danny's eyes as he fought one other being like him with this much power. Skulker didn't think much of this.

"Your power is that of..." Skulker cried out before seeing Danny's hand on his chest. It glow with green energy before Skulker knew this was the signature ghost blast.

"Say goodbye" Danny roared as he used his ghost energy to shatter Skulker's body. He figured out by this point that Skulker was finished.

Danny saw the head rolling away. He didn't care at this point. Skulker was finished, done and dealt with. Danny pulled both of his friends towards him. The fight took a lot out of him, but he could still fly with both of them in his arms. He noticed that the backpacks their were carrying was their life support while being in the ghost zone. The life support was cracked and thus Danny didn't have a lot of time before the two would succumb to the Ghostzone's atmosphere.

Danny took off with great speed in order to save his best friends. As he flew away, he looked back on the area they were just at. Danny saw that a few of the dogs had gotten up. He knew that those dogs would protect Tucker since Tucker had trained them to respect his commands. Danny also remembered the aggression he used against Skulker.

What was that Danny thought trying to remember where all that aggression came from. Was it from seeing Sam and Tucker in a near death state or was it something inside him? Danny focused more on getting his friends out of the Ghostzone

Meanwhile...

"That idiot" the tiny ghost stepped from outside Skulker's head.

"How could the Ghostzone's greatest hunter be defeated by such a dull and weak half ghost child" Skulker said kicking a piece of his suit away. "I guess now i have to rebuild this scrap metal"

As the tiny ghost known as Skulker were grabbing parts, Two old bird ghosts sat upon the tree branches. Skulker looked at the two and put down the metal he was gathering.

"Skulker, is that his name? I don't know anymore. These kids these days, all of the high tech" The first bird said.

"Yes, i think so. You need to get your ears check in your old age" The second bird hit him on the head.

"Your one to talk" The other bird said

"Hey, old birds, what do you want" Skulker commanded "I am a bit busy to do anything"

"HE demands your presence Now" The two bird said.

"Can't it wait" Skulker asked. The two birds shook their heads making Skulker groan.

"Skulker, want to explain why you do not have you suit" The voice declared seeing Skulker was in his real form.

Skulker, at first, didn't want to tell the master how he was defeated by a half ghost, but he stared knowing his master will find out sooner or later anyways. So, he hoped his lie would work.

"Well, i was out doing my usual thing. Gathering up unique individuals for my collection until i was attacked by a group of...ghost bears" Skulker cheered

"A group of Ghost Bears?" The villain raised a brow in confusion

"Yea, they were really vicious and tough. They attacked me with great speed, my ghost dogs are gathering up my armor now"

"Skulker, why do i get the distinct impression you are hiding something from me" The villain said

"I'm not, theses were really vicious bears. You should have been there to see the size of them." Skulker said imitating a bear.

Skulker sighed in defeat knowing his master was seeing through his deception "I was defeated by two humans and a ghost child"

"A ghost child and two humans?" The villain was perplexed

"Yeah, but this ghost child was a half ghost, just like you" Skulker announced

"A half ghost you say" The villain stepped out as he looked at Skulker holding him in his hand. He smiled as he looked at Skulker. "Tell me more about this ghost child?"

Well, that was an interesting turn. So, what are your thoughts on this chapter?

I liked the fight between Danny and Skulker. I am sure you can recognize who the ghost was during the ending point of the chapter. Yea, Danny could have finished Skulker off, but something in him wouldn't let him.

Here is a question from me.
Who do you like better: a hero, a villain or an anti hero?

I like anti heroes better because i feel they trend the line a hero and villain have. They are not goody two-shoes as a hero, but they aren't as evil as a villain.

I am sure people will enjoy the next chapter.
